    Had a broken hose bib replaced because it would not turn off and then asked to have a second hose bib inspected and it was determined that it needed to be replaced also. David L. was efficient, quick, and was focused on doing a good job by ensuring that an existing problem with the original installation was corrected. This is the third time in less than a year that we have used Scout Plumbing to address our plumbing needs.

    I had big water leak in front of my house and had determined it was not from sprinkler system. So received a referral from sprinkler company and called Scout Plumbing. SO glad I did! David Laster arrived and had problem diagnosed quickly and communicated what was needed and cost. Leak was fixed quickly by David and his partner.     Absolutely amazing work. We are so thankful that David came out and helped us with our plumbing issues. He located the problem, gave multiple options for repairs, and was able to execute the repairs in a timely manner. Not only did he do a great job but there office coordinator, Suzanne did amazing helping to coordinate and inform us as well as work with our insurance to help the process move smoothly. Highly recommend this company and their staff. Truly appreciate the helped we received in such a difficult time. You made the painful process and bit more bare-able.     Scout plumbing came through! I found my plumber! We had a toilet backed up, while everyone else was telling me tomorrow or the next day, Scout squeezed me in same day.     In January 2024-Jon was awesome. He took care of the issues I had with both bathroom showers not getting hot water and fixed an outdoor leaky faucet for me. This young man was on time, nice and professional. Great experience!I called Scoutā€™s again today on Labor Day and got an appointment this afternoon. David Lister was great. He unclogged my kitchen sink and replaced a leaky garbage disposal for me. Very polite and professional to deal with. I highly recommend him! Another great experience with Scoutā€™s plumbers!

    Very satisfied with Brandon at Scout Plumbing. My hot water heater failed on a Friday morning and Scout Plumbing was able to get Brandon to my home that afternoon who confirmed the unit needed replaced. Brandon did a very good job of explaining the situation to me and did an amazing job even taking time to answer my plumbing questions that were not related to the task at hand.

    Jonathan at Scout Plumbing is a treasure! Ive been out of town (was in the process of making my way back home) and was informed by a friend my A/C was not working properly. He gave me Scout Plumbings contact and I reached out the day before July 4th! Jonathan replied almost immediately and was willing to work on the 4th, I told him it wasnt needed since I wasnt home and he set up an appointment for the next day. When I tell you Jonathan is a hard worker and wont quit until the job is done I mean it.     We had Scout Plumbing out to our house because of a busted hot water heater tank in our attic. They went over our options for replacement and we settled on a tankless unit. They were here quickly to perform the replacement job and got us hot water back in our house with no issue. Eric did a phenomenal job of communicating with us throughout the entire process and he did the installation himself and we are so grateful that he helped us out in our time of need. They will be my go-to plumbing company going forward. Thanks Eric and team!Edit: we had Eric from Scout Plumbing come out to our rental house today to descale our sewage pipes.     Scout Plumbing was wonderful when the pipes beneath my house needed work. It was a big job and a long one, and they were very understanding and worked with me when I had delays moving money around. They also did their best to keep me in as much of a working state in the house as they could while the job stretched onward. Will definitely recommend and go to them in the future, though hopefully I wont have another job this big anytime soon!

    I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Scout Plumbing, particularly technician Rey Lomas and Suzanne, who manages the main office in Lake Dallas. After going through a terrible experience with my supposed warranty company (American Water Resources who I DO NOT recommend), my son suggested Scout Plumbing, with whom he has used for his homeā€™s plumbing repairs. A phone call was made in the morning and an appointment was made for that afternoon. I had water that was visibly leaking underneath my cement walkway into the front yard down to the sidewalk and into the street. Rey determined a major leak in my Main Water Line. He patiently explained what needed to be done and showed me pictures of the type of work that he would do to get my problem fixed. He gave me two options on how to address the leak and firm quotes for each of those options. Having accepted to get the job started, Suzanne, from the main office, called me to explain the next steps. 811 was called to mark the yard for any electrical and cable lines. Once that was done, the repairs were scheduled and completed within six days.I was so impressed with Reyā€™s professionalism, knowledge, work ethic, and the way he took the time to explain the process. He dealt with me very professionally and respectfully throughout the course of the job. The yard was put back together and even the sidewalks (the city and mine) were cleared of any debris so that I wouldnā€™t have to do any cleanup after the job was finished. Again, I cannot speak highly enough on Reyā€™s behalf. And I must thank Suzanne, too, for her patience and kindness in the way she treated me.     I needed a PRV and shutoff valve replaced. This company was extremely responsive and professional. Brandon arrived during the window provided by their dispatch. Brandon arrived as promised and made 3 plumbing repairs (replaced a gas meter main into the house, tub drain trim and replaced a fireplace ignitor tube).     I do not often leave reviews but I will do it when excellent service is given. I had several repairs done on my master toilet for what appeared to be a simple leak and shaky, unbalanced toilet. The company contracted with builder (Horizon Plumbing) repaired the same issue at least 3 times after my home was built and then a 4th time with a different provider not long ago. Well I contacted Scout Plumbing and the technician was knowledgeable, professional and on time. But the proof is in the pudding! No more leaks or shaky toilet! Great job to Scout Plumbing! Customer service also excellent.

    I had an outdoor faucet that was leaking and was wasting significant water. Since it was not covered by home warranty, I was afraid this would be an expensive out of pocket repair. I have worked with Scout Plumbing for many years under our home warranty so I didnt think of calling anyone else based on all the great experiences Ive had in the past. Service repairs are normally set up by the warranty company so I was excited to receive the best customer service from Suzanne when I called the office. She set up an appointment for the next day and I received confirmation of my appointment while I was still on the phone with her. I am grateful for her thoroughness and attention to detail. Scout Plumbing has always been amazing with keeping the customer in the loop so I appreciated my great experience with this part of the process.The text and email included direct contact info for my technician. Seth was assigned to this job - I have worked with him before - and he is consistently amazing, kind, and professional. He is also very knowledgeable and previous jobs have always been done as if it was his own home. He was able to quickly determine my problem, explain the process and what needed repairing, and he explained what it would look like after as he had to cut into the brick. He looked up the pricing guide for repairs so its comforting to know prices are set and fair. The job ending up costing on the lower range of what I expected so I was grateful for that. The work was done quickly and it was done well. Seth kept me informed all along the process. The impact in having to cut into the brick was very minimal and I could tell Seth only cut out what he absolutely had to to be able to complete the repair. I could go on about how kind Seth was during this whole process. I have been so fortunate to have such consistent, wonderful experiences with Seth and Scout Plumbing. I highly, highly recommend Seth and Scout Plumbing!!

    I cannot say enough about how wonderful Scout Plumbing is. We had a clogged drain and initially called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. They charged us $350. And within a day, the drain was backing up again. So, the plumber, Andrew, came back out as a warranty repair at no charge to clear the clog. However, he couldnā€™t clear It and had to call his field supervisor for advice. At this point, he quoted us an additional $1,000 to try to pull the blockage out with no guarantee that it would even work. Or, $15,000 to cut through the pavement to get to the pipe. Additionally, he also actually pushed the clog back toward the house, which was confusing to Eric at Scout Plumbing as to why he would do that. When Eric and his co-plumber arrived, they quickly assessed the situation and quoted us about $250-$450 to clear the clog. After using the camera, they advised that it was going to take a bigger drain cleaning head. This would require pulling the toilet and going down the larger pipe and would require a return visit. They didnā€™t charge us for the initial visit, and returned two days later. It took them an hour and a half to clear the clog! They even let me see the clog on the drain camera! My final cost was $550, since we pulled the toilet ourselves. This would have been substantially less (about $250) if I had called them when the issue began! And we would have saved us the $350 we paid Benjamin Franklin. From now on, Scout Plumbing is the only plumber we are calling! I highly recommend them for their honesty, professionalism, and quality of work!

    We are renovating, and needed a gas pipe capped. Rey showed up and was informative and kind, and took care of the issue promptly.     Great service. Came same day, assessed the problem and recommended a $20 fix over work that would have run into the thousands and required additional service contractors. Solution worked well. They could have easily told us to take the more expensive option and they were prepared to start the work if needed, but I really appreciate their honesty.     Seth is an incredible professional! We had a pipe burst during a winter storm that flooded our kitchen. Seth promptly arrived and got it fixed quickly while also providing us tips on how to avoid issues in future freezes. He educated us on getting water mitigation to ensure damages were less and upon his recommendation we discovered our entire kitchen would need to be renovated from internal damages. For that alone, Iā€™m grateful for Seth. We would have never known to do that! Fast forward to the renovation, I requested Seth specifically to come back because multiple team members on our renovation crew mentioned the plumbing in our kitchen needed updating. I knew I could trust Sethā€™s opinion and skills. Seth was punctual (Scout Plumbing helped me schedule him at my convenience to fit it in during demo of the kitchen) and he was immediately able to update all our kitchen piping valves. He assessed our disposal so we can get it replaced and went above and beyond to walk me through any other issues that arrived while providing great quotes and discounts to get things corrected promptly and in-the-moment. Seth was also a great teacher to his peer and I just love that! They were friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them too. Itā€™s so important to me to have a trustworthy professional who shines for their company and Seth is that. Scout Plumbing is now my go-to! I know my home is in good hands.

    After having a horrible experience with SWAT Plumbing, our warranty company referred us to Scout Plumbing. We have used them for four issues now on two rental homes in the past three weeks.     Came in allotted time frame and service tech was very knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of our home. He worked diligently the entire time and handled the service with my home warranty which of course they didnt cover but that wasnt their fault. Every plumber does. And they cant quote you a price because they dont know how involved the job is going to be until they open the pipes etc. It is unreasonable to expect them to know that.
