Alternative Edge (Eric) did an outstanding job remaking our home’s backyard/ patio area along with a few extra items. Eric came by 4 times to collaborate with my wife and I to ensure we all had final plan together with the final quote to reflect the work. Eric did all the leg work with procurement of supplies, delivery, retrieved our permit, and lined out subcontractors for building the home extension, and electrical work. Which was all worked into the final quote prior to start. No surprises!!!Eric removed our old concrete patio slab installed a new paver patio with the perfect underlying, boarder, and drainage slope. He oversaw the patio extension being built along with the electrical aspects I.e light and fan. The extension was outfitted with a shingled roof, flush gutter system, and recessed lights, fans, and an outdoor switch mounted to the house.After all that - he restored our yard where the foot and equipment traffic occurred.Very professional workmanship.

Alternative Edge has completed two large projects at my residence over the past few years. The work theyve completed includes a stamped concrete patio/sidewalk, concrete edger to border flower beds, planting flowers, trees, and shrubs, burying gutter downspouts, and spreading rock. Each project was completed to my specifications and I was very satisfied with the end result. Eric is respectful and detail-oriented in the work he completes. I would recommend Alternative Edge to anyone looking for stamped concrete and general landscaping work.

We were very pleased with not only the work that was done, but the care that was taken to make sure the rest of our lawn was minimally stressed and disturbed. Eric and his assistant José were very friendly. José even took a moment time to water my garden, and harvest a bit while working around the garden area. Just a great group of guys whose work has already received compliments from our neighbors. They love the design and are considering Eric and his crew’s services. Alternative Edge Landscaping totally transformed our front yard! Every step of the process Eric made sure that we were happy with the results, and always made sure to ask if we had any questions or concerns. The stonework walls were built by Jerry, and his attention to detail and the quality of his work really show! Every member of Erics crew were hard working and extremely polite. We are very, very happy that we chose them for our project!

I hired Eric to removed an old block and timber patio and original 60s slab and replace with a poured tinted concrete. He showed up when he said her would and completed the patio work to my satisfaction. Because the new patio was larger and not as high - steps had to be installed from the house. He provided me with a couple of alternatives and did a really nice job with adding the steps. The costs were very much inline with what I expected to pay and the only extra from the original bid was for the steps, that were not planned. He did a good job removing and replacing the fence section that had to be removed during construction every day - so that my dogs did not escape during non-construction hours.He did a nice job on clean-up. The only drawback was the equipment left some substantial ruts between the street and my patio. I felt those should have been rolled out. I was unexpectedly out of town when the job was completed and it was nothing we had discussed prior to the job. I would have only taken away a half-star if I could have.

Two projects completed thus far. First was a raised bed garden with pavers. Second was a poured-concrete path around the back of our house. Both projects look excellent. Price was competitive. We had to replace our septic system so our yard was completely ripped up. I called Eric on Friday when they finished up with the septic and by Tuesday he had come out and smoothed the yard and seeded it. We were thrilled!
