    We called Tylar Yates Electrical based upon a simple sign in the neighborhood, knowing nothing about generators or what to expect. Tylar, the owner, happened to answer the phone and he came out to explain the ins and outs of generators and other sources of alternative power. He was more knowledgeable than we expected. That prompted us to do our due diligence and begin our investigation about generators. After another meeting with Tylar, we decided to go with his company.Today we had five of the most professional young men work for hours and hours to do our install. They were also very informative and willing to explain every detail about the process. The scope of the work was far more than we anticipated, but our final tally remained exactly the same, which was less than anyone else we had seen advertised.We are very pleased!!!!

Fantastic service, professional, intelligent young man with great electrician skills. He answered all my questions, kept his schedule & did exactly what he said for exact price he quoted. He started my new generator set I had previously purchased, put fuel stabilizer in it for me and operated the house on new portable generator set for a good 30 minutes.     Tyler was very professional, he was cheaper than the company I tried to get the job done. He fit us into a busy day because he knew we have been in a bind for awhile.     Highly recommended!! Extremely happy!! Tylar and crew installed a interlock kit, 50amp breaker and ran a 20ft 50amp plug box to run my emergency 12k portable generator. Not only did they do the install fast, it looks so good!! We can now have our whole house including AC running when the main power is out!You want professionalism, I suggest going with this company.     Mr. Yates was on time. He completed the work in the specified time. He replaced electrical panel on house and installed generator. He was very friendly, professional and courteous.     When my husband told me that someone was coming out to install a generator transfer switch, and he had found this company on the internet, I was pretty nervous. Tyler was awesome!     What a great experience. Being new to the area and picking a random repair person can be difficult. He had a quick response and was able to troubleshoot a home circuit easily.     Yates electrical company came out and did exactly what they said they would do. They showed up on time , did professional work on my house . They did not make up any flakey excuses or try and reschedule the work . I had called another company that came out before Yates and they gave me a huge run around on pricing and they said it would take 8 months to get a generac home generator before they could start the work and they left everything up to me as far as propane tank . I’m new to Kountze , moved here from colorado so I didn’t know what companies to use or where to even begin besides google . Tyler not only beat their price , he was at my house the following week installing a new generator that I was told I’d have to wait 8 months for . Then he went the extra mile and found my propane provider to come out and install my 550 gal tank and run gas line from tank to my generator . I recommend Yates Electric for any electrical needs you may have as they are really friendly and up front no bait and switch tactics . Tyler came back out after propane was hooked up and showed me how the system works and went through and tested everything to ensure I got what I paid for . Thank you Yates electrical for being so awesome I’ll never call anyone else for my electrical needs and I’ll recommend you guys to anyone who asks for quality electrical work .     Mr. Yates did an excellent job installing an interlock system, whole home surge protector, and 30Amp outlet for my portable generator. This included drilling holes through brick to breakerbox in my garage to run 75ft conduit/cable to my backyard where my natural gas is to connect my generator to a 30 Amp RV outlet. He also helped to connect my Natural gas generator and explained how to use it the first time. On top of this, the poor guy did all this work after having dental surgery a few days ago, such a hard worker! I will definitely recommend him next time to friends and family. Best thing is that he gives a professional quote online via a link accessible on my phone, which helped me get a breakdown of costs before work started. I dont write reviews but I hope this helps someone out.
