Holowchuck did an amazing job of repairing scratches and holes in our home furniture and cabinetry. The technician, Dan, was highly skilled, personable and a pleasure to have in our home. We had one cabinet door that was extensively scratched from a fallen light fixture, and Dan made it look like new. I highly recommend Holowchuck Wood Services to anyone with scratches or holes in wood cabinetry and furniture. You wont regret it.

Charlie from Holowchuk Wood Services came to restore some holes in our floor. The work was EXTRAORDINARY.In one attached photo, a hole had been mistakenly drilled in our hardwood floor a bit larger than my fingernail, with wood splintering away. Charlie restored it so perfectly that neither my wife nor I were even able to see where the hole used to be.In the other attached photo, a 2 segment of the narrow strip of wood in our hardwood floor had just broken off and was gone. (Its an old house, and the hardwood floors were done with non-regular sized pieces of wood). Charlie restored it absolutely perfectly. My wife and I again had a hard time spotting it after he fixed it.Charlie said he had formerly trained as a fine artist, but there wasnt money in that, so he moved to restoration work. His work in our house was pure talent. He came with a trundle box full of about a hundred different wood-color shades of paint, and used epoxy and then paint to draw fake wood that looks exactly like the original.(Sorry I didnt think to take before photos! I wish I had, just to demonstrate how magical his work was.)

Absolutely fantastic experience with Holowchuk Wood Services. My couch leg support broke and I was referred to them via a FB post in my neighborhood. Reached out on Monday to explain my situation and they had an expert carpenter out by Wednesday morning. He was professional, friendly and highly skilled, and was able to fix my couch quickly. I cannot recommend them enough.
