    Bud did a great job. Getting this service through Ace Hardware was a very pleasant and easy experience then I’ve had trying to use any of the other services or trying to find someone myself. If you are a busy couple or a single woman living alone and you don’t have time And a staff of maintenance people at your disposal this is a service for you.

    Okay I don’t normally do reviews but, after Mr Bud Mooney the handyman from Ace Handyman Services I will most definitely use them again. After Hurricane Beryl I noticed the wind blew down one piece of hardy plank. I made 3 calls for an estimate and the only contractor service that called me back was Ace. I am glad they did so I scheduled them for the repairs. The multi-skilled Craftsman Mr Bud Mooney was on time, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful of my property. Repairs were completed and looks like it never happened. Praise God for that.I highly recommend them and will use Ace Handyman Services in the future. My repair may have been a small job but Ace was awesome. Thank you 🙏🏾

    Bud came out prepared to replace a porch post, after estimating 3 - 4 hours for the job. He came out and told me the post did not need to be replaced, gave me some pointers about caulking, and only charged me for a service call rather than a full hour. He was friendly and professional, and I really appreciated his honesty. Ill definitely choose Ace again when I need some work done and wont hesitate to recommend them.

    I called yesterday to get some help with a few tasks before I put my house on the market. They were able to squeeze me in on the same day. Bud fixed one of them on the spot, gave me tips to handle a few others at next to no cost and will be back to handle another job once a part can be sourced.     I needed my window sill replaced and was expecting to pay a lot for it but they were more than reasonable with prices. They came in, replaced and painted the sill and offered advice on some other stuff while they were here. Im big on DIY but I will not mind calling them back for more help around the house. These guys are AWESOME!

    We needed some fascia board replaced on the house, I called in the morning and they came out to replace it at noon. The work took about 3 1/2 hours (including a trip to the home center for supplies) and was well done and good quality. I picked Hardie board as the material of choice, which is dense, difficult to work and just generally not user friendly, but the gentleman was knowledgeable and quite capable of handling the project. It came out looking very nice. If you live in the Kingwood area, I would suggest giving them a call.

    This was my first time using Ace. Bud and Celia communicated through every step in the process. Bud was prompt, explained what he was going to do, and did it thoroughly and completely. He obviously is well experienced and very quality minded. You can see that he takes pride in his work, which you don’t often see nowadays. Pricing was what was discussed. Will use Ace again, we want Bud!

    Great results. I needed some rotted wood replace on my house and Michael came ready to roll. He understood what needed to be done and how to do it. He worked on his own and didnt need constant monitoring from me. He did the job complete and cleaned up after himself. What a breeze, and for a reasonable price. Ive got more work where that came from and I will call Ace Handyman and Michael back when Im ready.

    I am very pleased with both the customer service I received from the office as well as from Alex, the on-site craftsman. Both were extremely personable and professional. They were able to work around my schedule and explained everything very clearly. Alex was on time and finished the job under the estimated amount of time. He did three fans and left all areas of the home clean and organized when he was finished. He explained different options best suited for each space. His work is added value to the home and can’t wait to be able to show it off. I will definitely be requesting Alex when I am ready for the next project.

    I am very pleased with my first handyman experience! The office staff was super polite, friendly, and efficient in booking and confirming my appointment. I even received an email just prior to Zachs arrival to let me know he was on the way--complete with a photo of him. Zach repaired our bathtub faucet in less time than hed estimated, and he did a superb job. He was knowledgeable, personable, and very professional. I will definitely do business with Handyman Matters again...and again, and again.

    This was the first time using Ace Handyman Services and Bud was overall outstanding. We had 3 jobs that needed to be done, (take down 2 indoor fans, put up a new fan, and replace a leaking shower handle / mechanism) and he did a great job! Im not very good at fixing things, and he didnt mind me watching him and asking questions while he worked. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing it, and he was very knowledgeable. He worked fast, but didnt cut corners. I definitely learned a few things while Bud was here. Also, the office staff my wife spoke to were very friendly and courteous and there were no issues in setting up the appointment.The overall experience was great and we are extremely happy with the results. We will definitely use Ace Handyman Services again and we will recommend them to friends, family and neighbors. Thank you for a job well done.

    Bud replaced drywall in two areas of our home after recent pipe breaks. He ALWAYS goes beyond the call of duty, and he educated customers as he works. If you need ANYTHING done around the house, request him. He is incredible!

    Zach fixed a hole in my drywall and not only was it done perfectly (the texture blended right into the surrounding texture even though it was a less commonly used texture), he was so friendly, courteous and professional the entire time. I can not praise him enough. If I ever have any handyman needs in the future, I will definitely give them a call and request Zach.

    I cannot praise this company enough. My wife and I have had a tremendous amount of water damage that has taken a lot of work to get repaired. Bob and Celia both have been as friendly and accommodating as can be in scheduling our appointments with their craftsmen, and have been able to consistently get top-notch craftsmen to our home quickly while working with our schedules. The craftsmen who have worked in our home so far are Bud and Zack. The work has been extremely varied, including painting and caulking, drywall and sheet rock removal/installation, baseboard and quarterround matching and installation, and next up, ceiling structural repair. They both worked quickly and efficiently, but still took the time to pay attention to detail which was evident in the quality of their work. The pricing has been more than reasonable. They will charge a markup for materials, but are up front about that and will call you from the hardware store as theyre checking out so you can pay yourself, conveniently, and avoid the markup. All told, we will have had these handy gentlemen in our home for about 20 hours of high-quality, detailed work, and we should come in just under $1700 (not including materials).I cannot say enough about the personal touch weve received along the way. Everyone we have dealt with at this organization has taken a genuine interest in our troubles and concerns (like the fact that my wife is pregnant and very allergic to mold). Everyone has been very upfront about what to expect with costs, etc., even going as far as turning down work we needed done by saying things like, Things like this you can get done elsewhere just as good as we would do it, but much cheaper and will even recommend other companies to reach out to.This is what American entrepreneurship is supposed to be based on: Customer Service, Integrity, Service Delivery, Kindness, Quality, and Courteousness. They have nailed every single one of these pillars every step of the way and have easily earned a lifetime customer. Give Handyman Matters your business. They deserve it and so do you!

    Bud Mooney was on time every time, explained everything he did before he did it, was patient in answering my questions, and did a thorough and excellent job. The closet in my study (and the carpeting and padding) had mold from a leak in the roof and the AC condenser drain being clogged. Bud replaced all the sheetrock, replaced all the baseboard, reinstalled the closet shelf and rod, and painted everything.
