I’m from 1500 miles away staying at Geiger Key! I had a low voltage issue at the campgrounds receptacle I was told 2 times it must be my equipment. 2 gentleman came out today 12/30 and originally said the same thing but once they investigated a bit further they realized it wasn’t. Although there was not any obvious issue why the voltage reading was causing my surge protector to trip. They were kind and listened to my thoughts as the continued to try to figure it outThe last thing they could think could be was a bad splice in a junction box. They ran the snake and found it. Burnt connection was repaired and bingo all is good!Many employees would have left and not gave the 2nd, 3rd and 4th effort

I have Had an electric issue for four days. No air condition, no washer and dryer, no TV, No Wi-Fi, no stove, And very few lights. And a gentlemen named Tyler came out today and fixed my problem. He had the best customer service that I have seen on this island. He fixed my problem and told me everything as he went along so I would not feel left out. I have repairmen in my house that has literally said not one word. Tyler was very knowledgeable and included me in as much as he could. It is a breath of fresh air to have customer service the way it should be handled. I would definitely recommend this company. If they had since enough to hire Tyler, I am sure that they look for similar characteristics in the rest of their staff.

I can only judge the quality of the work based on the young man that came out to swap out 5 outlets and a new light switch, Christopher came out and did the work even though my elderly friend talked to him the whole time. Christopher called him Sir each time he responded to a question, it was so sweet. It probably took him twice as long to do the work, but it was so nice of him to be so patient.

A major emergency in our electrical service prompted Keys Energy to pull our meter and disconnect the lines to our house. Within two hours, a team of three Check technicians had the problem identified and a plan in place. Six hours later, our power is hooked back, we’re up to code, and the whole job looks perfect. The office staff and the techs were a dream. I’ve never seen a team of three workers ALL keep busy and engaged for an extended period of time. What a great experience - for what started out as an absolute nightmare.

We called Check Electric to come change out a few light fixtures. We thought it was going to be a simple job. Once the technician began working with the wires it became clear there was a more complicated problem that needed to be addressed.Not only did the technicians stick with it, they made sure I completely understood what the issue was and how they resolved the problem. They paid extra attention to safety concerns and am very happy with the results!These guys did not cut corners when it would have been easy to get away with.I will be using them again in the future!

We had some serious issues happening and James came back time after time until he figured out the issue and our electric was back on in the bedroom and bathroom. Super nice guy, very professional and always worked very hard to try and find a solution. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack and James figured it out! Professional guys and good quality, average price youd expect to pay a good electrition which is a lot. But what do you expect, when you are forced to pay someone to do something because of laws and they have the license to do it and you dont.

We own a wedding business in Key West. We had been of town for 3 weeks and had just arrived home when we realized that the power was completely out in our office! That meant no computers! 5 weddings...and heavy rain forecast for the entire next day!We immediately called our usual Electricians, and their answer was Try us again on Monday. Not today. But...this is an EMERGENCY I said! We have to get up and running! Cant do it. They said.So we called Check Electric.The girl that answered the phone ...was impressive. VERY good. Collected information, understood our situation, and said that she would contact the trucks and see who could come to help us. ( A HUGE DIFFERENCE!) She told us that she would call back soon.Literally LESS THAN 10 MINUTES LATER.....the doorbell rang. I thought that it was the powerwashing guys that were doing the house.IT WASNT. IT WAS 2 TECHS FROM CHECK ELECTRIC!!! WE...WERE STUNNED. WE COULDT BELIEVE IT!They both worked DILIGENTLY.....to get us back up and running again.VERY impressive. They had to track down whatever was blowing the circuit breaker continually, and trace it back.About an hour or so later.....EVERYTHING WAS BACK ON!!THANK GOD.The guys doing the power washing......blasted an outdoor outlet.....and destroyed it.....causing the short!!!THIS COMPANY AND THE 3 PEOPLE THAT WE DEALT WITH.....ARE NOTHING SHORT OF EXCELLENT. WE WOULD GIVE THEM 10 STARS IF WE COULD. THE BEST.WE WILL NEVER USE ANYONE ELSE.
