    If you’re looking for a good, knowledgable person to install an involved chandelier look no further. Deon has the patience and the expertise needed for the job. His work was outstanding and I’m now admiring my new chandelier. The best money I’ve ever spent. I highly recommend him and plan on telling my children to use him. Extremely happy with his work.

    Deon is hands down THE BEST electrician.We blew a circuit in our old Forest Hills home at 4am on a Saturday. I found him with steller reviews and left a message. He called me back in 5 minutes and came over from LI quickly.He identified the problem and fixed it within less than an hour and then spent time testing ecery scenario to insure the problem wouldnt happen again.Highly recommend and would hire again in a heartbeat.     I’ve been using Deon for years!! Extremely professional and gets the job done in a timely matter. I would recommend him to everyone. He installed a Lorex camera system, new breaker panel, re wired my whole house with outlets and led lights. His work is amazing.

    Recently had electrical work done in my apartment and could not have asked for a better experience. High hats and all new outlets and electrical were done in places that never had light. Deon went above and beyond-he was punctual and did everything in a timely matter. He also made sure that everything was done safely so there would be no potential issues in the future. He responds quickly to questions and has the client’s best interest at hand. I would recommend him to anyone and will be using him in the future.

    Dion was a pleasure to work with. He installed an EV (electric vehicle) charging unit in our driveway. He also replaced an electric outlet in our kitchen plus installed a new one for us too.     If you don’t choose Deon as your electrician, you have already made a mistake. My wife and I were completely impressed with him. First, he was the most responsive of all the electricians we reached out to. He came to the house the same day we made contact with him. He understood what we were looking for and made great recommendations. And his estimate was competitive with any number we had been quoted. He is also a very nice person. We arranged for the work to start 2 days later, which was great for us.Deon’s attention to detail meant so much to us. Everything that we asked of him was done better than we ever expected. He made updates to our 100 year old house which presented challenges. His problem-solving talent resolved all of these. And he works very efficiently, so the job was completed in a single day. He left the house neater than when he came in.While doing the work, he identified wiring in the old house that clearly needed to be updated as well. We have asked him to return again to help us rectify this.There is no doubt that Deon of D.S. Contracting will be our electrician from now on, and we have full confidence to refer our friends and neighbors to Deon for any electrical work they may be considering. We only wish there were more stars in the review. He would deserve 10!

    Would call Deon again for electrical anytime! I had contacted Deon to install two ceiling fan-lights in a single work window. He was expert, accountable, answered my questions, figured out some creative solutions with our building’s old infra, and was so chill to work with.

    Deon and his team did an excellent job on demolition of our dropped ceiling, old fluorescent light fixtures, and the raising our ceiling and adding new lighting. We love it! He made suggestions that worked out beautifully. We are so happy with the lighting—this room doubles as a dining room and family room—and the lighting is perfect for both uses. So the raised ceiling, crown molding, paint job, and lighting has changed this room into a beautiful space we now love!

    I cannot recommend this company enough! I was beyond impressed with the honesty I received from the electrician, even more so than the quick and efficient work. I was not charged for the consultation/estimate, and was given a fair price for the services. Another company had given me an astronomical quote, and if not for the lovely gentleman coming from D.S., I wouldve gone with the other and gotten ripped off. I am most certainly using them for any future needs and will refer them to friends and family confidently. Personally, I am not one for writing reviews, but this company and its service really blew me away. They did great work, saved me a lot of money, and renewed my faith in people.     I recently had a emergency electrical issue in my home. I found d.s contacting online, I called and they came right away. I was pleasantly surprised how they responded to my call and where able to send out someone right away. When they arrived they where so polite and friendly.
