    All American has always been a great company to work with, and that continues. We had them decommission our heating oil boiler system and install a new propane boiler system. From the beginning they were friendly, professional, carefully presented all our options and throughly answered our questions. They kept us updated on the progress of the arrival of the parts and promptly scheduled the job when everything was ready. The decommission and installation techs Matt, Ray, and Morgan were also super cool, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The job only took two days and they made sure everything was perfect before they left. The Navien combi system they installed takes up little space, and is very quiet and efficient.In short, we had a great experience from start to finish and highly recommend All American. Thank you!!!

    We had an outstanding experience with All American! During a cold snap, a pipe froze and burst, as these things often do, during off hours. All American was the only company offering emergency service, and they responded quickly.The technician, Randy, was excellent. He fixed the pipes in record time and the cost was reasonable. What could have been an incredibly stressful situation for our family was made so much easier thanks to their efficient and professional service.Thank you for being there when we needed you most!

    This outfit is responsive, courteous, knowledgeable, and has a “can fix it” attitude. They also have an interesting discount program, and a standing discount for vets and seniors. Went above and beyond and assessed another plumbing issue with both skill and helpful info. They adjusted their booked schedule to accommodate our active leak under the kitchen counter. Job well done!

    They are a very polite and communicative company, all seeming to be good people. However, they misdiagnosed my plumbing issue, telling me I needed a $1000 valve replacement for my leaky bathtub faucet- and I think it was an honest mistake and not a common occurrence. I wanted to make sure I really needed to spend $1000, since that is a lot of money, so I changed out the cartridge and seated spring assembly with all new Delta parts, which cost me 15 minutes and $85, and it stopped the drip completely. The shower is working great.We had a number of rounds of exchanging information, but finally came to the agreement that they would credit my account the cost of the troubleshooting. I appreciated that they worked with me until the matter was resolved, admitting that while they werent sure what was the cause of the error, an error had occurred. I plan on using them for future work, so was very happy that we could work through what was an uncomfortable situation for all. I do not expect anyone in any profession to get it 100% right every time, so it is good to know All American works in the interests of their clients when problems arise.

    All American made the effort to schedule an emergency visit on short notice to fix our furnace. Tyrell arrived around noon, explained pricing and the necessary work, and completed repairs in about an hour. He was very easy to work with and knowledgeable about a variety of plumbing and heating questions. Overall, we were very pleased.

    Chase, Trace, and Raymond came to remove an oil and water tank, install a few heat pump units, and added a Rinnai hot water heater with nice work on the gas line. I was impressed with the attention to detail they displayed. All were respectful of our home and space, well mannered, and professional. Chase was very knowledgeable and informative when all jobs were complete and discussed the rundown at the end.During the consultation, Andrew was also very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all questions and provided thorough information with visuals.

    All American is a well run company and its employees are prompt, courteous, and sympathetic when a homeowner is in trouble with systems that need immediate attention. My story starts with a plugged toilet in my rental unit, i could not free up. After calls to all plumbers in town and none were available for one to two weeks out which is unacceptable and there was no sympathetic tone from any of them. A call to All American and the office (tia) said someone would be out in 30min. wow, unbelievable after exhausting phone calls. the problem was fixed within an hour.Part two: I had been thinking about replacing my oil heat furnace with new heat pump system and decided this was a company that would get the job done. They decommissioned the oil system and tank, got building permits, and installation process started when they said it would and a multiport system is up in running warm and perfectly. They did what they said would be done and kept me informed of progress with shipping to daily install planning. The office personnel Tia, Heather, Kaia and John dispatcher coordinator all were so nice and kept me informed as to when the installers would arrive on site on a hourly, daily schedule. Many thx to Chase, Andrew, Randy, Ty, John for this installation.Highly recommend All American for their commitment, responsiveness and sympathy to home owners in times of need.A simple responsive toilet fix turned into a complete heating system installation.

    I’ve used All American Home Service several times, so this is an edited/new review as of August 2024.Recently, John came by and did a checkup on our old boiler, cleaned it up, and was super personable. He also did a good job of explaining what he was doing. A few days later, I got a hard lock error, which ended up unrelated.Today, Tyrel came out and checked on the error. He walked me through all the price options and did an excellent job of explaining what was included, what services he’d be performing, what the issue ended up being (motorized pieces wearing down and losing grip/stripped), and what I could expect for possible issues and expenses.He discussed some future options at my request, was very pleasant and never rushed, and did an excellent job of helping me decide on what to do with our dying boiler. As a final note: Tyrel also made some suggestions on what I could do to improve other functions and to save space in the garage, whenever we install a new boiler, which has pretty much locked in my plans for the new install.Only downside to All American has nothing to do with the service or staff—they have membership plans you can buy into, and they give you a physical coupon booklet like it’s 1984, which you HAVE to provide to get any of the discounts. So if you lose the book or can’t find it in a bind during an unexpected repair, it’s wasted. The annual membership also doesn’t save enough to really make it worth it, which I can say after buying the most substantial package, then having a few projects done, and all the annuals—just doesn’t add up to meaningful savings, especially with the confusing requirement to use coupons in 2024.I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again though: while you’re going to pay a little more with their services, they coordinate with you, return calls, are always polite, and you get what you should reasonably expect out of that. Most local places won’t even return a call, ever, and All American will not only call you, they’ll call your neighbors to coordinate projects around them and their property. You just don’t get that elsewhere in Juneau.

    We had an emergency plumbing problem and All American sent Matt out to diagnose the problem. He was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. Two days later Tyrel came out with his apprentice and they worked diligently until the problem was fixed. Tyrel was courteous and very knowledgeable. He saw the problem and fixed it. We were very happy with their service.

    Tyrel and Tell fixed a leaky tub and a noisy water line in our home. We were impressed with the quality of work, communication, overall professionalism. We discussed keeping doors closed due to our pets and acceptable places to park before they even arrived. They were transparent with us throughout the entire process, which we really appreciated.

    Very well run company. They have been taking care of my boiler servicing and plumbing repairs for many years now, and always do a great job. Yesterday, Tyrel replaced a kitchen faucet and installed a new instant hot water unit for me. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and got the job done quickly.

    We have a home downtown and our 100-year-old sewer line failed, All American came to our rescue. The home is on a hill so all the digging had to be done by hand, a very difficult job.     We were looking for options to replace our original boiler. All American gave us three different options and we decided heat pump system would be best. Andrew was very helpful explaining each option and answering all our questions. Installation was very professional and done in two days. Trace, Chase, and Randy did a great job and talked us through everything from unit placement benefits to system operations. I also really appreciated the office calling as a follow up to make sure everything is good. I can say after a month, everything is working great.

    All American definitely set the standard high in all respects. They are fast, professional, transparent, and as customer serive oriented as one would hope a company would be. They’ve worked on several projects in my house over the last 7 years and have always come through for me. Their staff are all highly trained and extremely personable to top it off.Most recent experience was just today for my furnace’s annual servicing and a sump pump replacement. They called a day in advance to confirm the appointment, then called half an hour before they arrived, and I received a text message with an additional confirmation, plus the name, picture, and quick biography of the service expert that was arriving. Tyrell and Randy arrived exactly at the time scheduled. Both were amazing at explaining what the plan was for the work to be performed, the steps that were going to be taken, and always asked if I had any questions throughout the process. They checked in with me through the work’s phases to keep me in the loop and were great at offering recommendations or tips to think about. I was highly impressed by both Randy and Tyrell’s customer service approach and, of course, the work they performed.This company goes above and beyond and genuinely cares about the overall experience by its customers.10/10

    I had a leak in my garage, and called All American for help. Heather answered the phone and was extremely kind and detailed in her notes and put me on the schedule for the next day. They actually finished their jobs early for the day, and were able to get me in the same day (hours after I had initially called). She texted me so I could send photos and videos ahead of time, so that the technician could be efficient and know what they were getting in to before they came. She then called when they were about a half hour from my house and provided a photo of the technician that would be coming. As a single woman homeowner, I really appreciated knowing who was coming to my door, before I opened it. The tech Tyrel then called when he was leaving his other job to come to my house. He and John showed up and kindly explained the work to be done and got started. I appreciated their kind and patient manner, especially as a woman. This isnt always the case with heating and plumbing issues and sometimes businesses can be condescending. They only took about an hour to get the work done, and walked me through what was done before they left. They also provided me with quotes on some other items they noticed while in my garage, so that I could schedule them at a later date, if I was interested. I have used them previously with my other home, and I without a doubt will continue to call them as my first choice. THANK YOU!!

    Ive used All American for the purchase and installation of a multi head heat pump, the decommissioning of a Toyo stove and related oil tank removal, and to bail me out (thank you Tim) when my kitchen sink water valve leaked after I installed a dishwasher. Most recently Matt did a great job installing eight angle stops to my water valves to reduce the likelihood of future water leaks. All American does great work and is reliable, courteous and is up front and honest about the cost of services. I recommend them for any home services that they will perform.

    I had gotten great reviews from family who had this company do work for them. I was completely pleased with the quick response to my call. Even tho they werent able to schedule me that day, I got a call later that day offering to come out shortly if I was available, as theyd had a cancellation.     We have used All American several times since we purchased our home. We have been nothing but impressed with their service each time.They have responded to emergency service a time or two, and also have just performed the standard maintenance of our heating system. Their pricing is reasonable and we have not had a service tech who wasnt awesome. When calling to inquire about service, they were almost always able to give us an estimate of expected costs. The estimate has been very similar to the actual cost, which we greatly appreciate.We are looking to upgrade our ancient heating system and they have given us several options (including an option they dont provide!) covering a span of prices. They spelled out all the pros and cons and gave their opinion on what would work best for our home. They didnt try and sell us the most expensive thing and call it good. We will continue to use All American for our future needs as they have been great to deal with!

    Now a days, it’s hard to get schedule on time, with Home All American plumbing, they were able send someone out in 3 days and was able to fix our leaking pipe. They are honest and reliable.     During peak building season when plumbers were booked a month or more in advance, I had an urgent sink valve problem that couldnt wait. I called in the morning and by 11:30 I had a qualified plumber onsite. He not only changed out the problematic valve, but I also had him change out a toilet supply valve and install a garbage disposal while he was here.Professional, prompt, clean and the first company I will call next time I need a handyman service. (They were even cool about wearing masks in my home which made me feel safe.)Addition: I have continued to call these folks for other repairs as well and I joined their service membership plan which offers coupons, discounts and a number of freebies like a home inspection. These guys are great for condominium and homeowners. If you own a rental property their service membership would be a great asset.

    I was very impressed with the friendly reception I received when I called for my leaky waterline. They kept in contact with me giving me status reports of when the technician would arrive. Finally, the technician called letting me know he was on the way and about 10 minutes later he pulled into my driveway.He immediately went to work and it didn’t take long to locate the leak inside the wall. He immediately fixed it with no signs of leaking.We did seem to have a misunderstanding when he told me the price. To do the work, he had to cut holes in the sheet rock to get to the pipe. Once the pipe was fixed, I assumed the quoted price included repairing the sheet rock. It did not so I opted to fix it myself.What I should have done was ask what the price included for the repair. I’ll know better next time!

    All American Home Service is a life saver! The front office staff Bree was awesome! We had frozen pipes under our home and had been without water for 5 days. We used a different company initially. That company came and fixed one pipe, turned the water on and just left. My husband went underneath the house to find water flooded all over and we still had several broken pipes. I called All American and they were able to prioritize us. They had someone out the next morning. The plummer with All American that came out was timely, thorough and professional. He mended all the broken pipes and ensured there were no more leaks.     This was a very professional company. My husband, Bruce, and I found our older boiler giving up and called All American Plumbing and heating to quote replacing it. We were given a numer of options to choose from, an exact quote for each, and a time-line. Both the quote and time-line were kept to. The staff were very easy to work with. Breah who took my order was always available for questions and she also helped me fill in the insurance paperwork that was needed. Never had trouble reaching any staff I needed to speak with. The install team led by Chase was awesome, knew what he was doing and made quick work of the removal of the old system and installation of the new system. His co-worker, Nic, was equally experienced and knowledgeable and both had no hesitations in their actions and got a job done in 1 day that was meant to take most of 2. Both Chase and Nic also took the time to answer our questions and show us the various aspects of the products. It is never fun or easy to have to spend the sums of money to buy and install a new boiler and hot water heater when the old ones are dead, but this company made it easy for us and headache free and we appreciate it.     We had some heating issues over the holidays with our apartment complex. All American made time in their schedule to get us take care of the next day. Im out of town so all communication had to be done over the phone. All American home service was very prompt, professional, courteous, reasonably priced and kept me updated during all the trips out to the property.
