    Johnny Foster is the technician who came out to service our furnace. Arrived on time, was very positive and professional, explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. Top notch guy! I don’t know the names of the employees that came out to clean the system air ducts, but they were excellent as well. Great people. Great company 👍

    Our 1972 house only had radiant (ceiling) & no a/c. EWEB was anxious for us to transition to HVAC to save energy so we called HC. They responded quickly & explained our options & assured us they would coordinate with EWEB for rebate & loan to install. Their prices were competitive with other bids we got. They installed 3 ductless ceiling units. Joshua & Austin & Cory did a great job -efficient & professional. Foreman Joey helped problem solve when there was an install issue. They cleaned up before they left & instructed us on how to run the units. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND HomeComfort.

    TRUMAN was amazing! He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, did a fabulous job cleaning all my system, explained everything in detail, showed me photos he took of before and after (what a huge difference!), put everything back perfectly into place he’d had to move to reach my unit, and on top of all that, he was so pleasant and friendly and respectful about my concerns. I can’t say enough positive about Truman’s work! Thank you!!

    Our heater stopped working a couple days ago. After troubleshooting on our own, we were out of ideas. I submitted an appointment request this morning and Clint showed up this afternoon. He was professional, friendly, explained everything to me as he was checking things out and making the repair, and the final cost was more than fair. Thank you for everything, we will definitely use you again for any future needs!

    Home Comfort is my go-to HVAC service and I can’t say enough great things about them. I own a couple small commercial buildings in Eugene, and had an air conditioning emergency when the weather got hot this summer. They came out right away and did not give up until the job was done, which made a huge difference to us! Once they fixed it, our air conditioning ran beautifully all summer. Now, on the first really cold day of the year, the heat went out (older buildings in need of updates!) and Home Comfort moved some appointments around to help us out again. They are my first phone call every time. HIGHLY recommend!!

    Johnny F. was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He came out to service my grandmas 20 year old heating/cooling system and told us ways we as consumers can do our part to maintain it. No other technician in the past 20 years has bothered to take the time to explain the importance of filter maintenance (or even that there was a filter) as well as would should be basic servicing of the system. If the other technicians from this company do even half as good a job as Johnny did, I can confidently recommend this company to anyone in need of home heating/cooling services.

    Promptly at eight a.m. Johnny showed up to begin the replacement of our system. He identified himself, was pleasant, courteous and professional. Soon Dallas & Josh came to get the rest of the old out and the new in. When Gerrit showed up the party started. He couldn’t have been kinder. He was attentive and meticulous with his work and was extremely patient with us older folks when it came to explaining how the new system works. A breath of fresh air. I should mention that Home Comfort installed our original system 23 years ago. All maintenance and cleaning of the system was done by them. They kept it going as long as they could. Everyone that I came in contact was wonderful to work with. We’re so happy to have them in our home.

    My air conditioner aka mini split stopped workin yesterday and I called around to a couple places and couldn’t get someone out for 2 weeks.But Home Comfort was able to get someone out first thing the next day.His name is Justin and he was the most pleasant and efficient worker. He not only got it back up and running, it actually started making me cold, and last but not least he loved meeting my Doggy Bentley because if it wasn’t for this company my dog would pretty miserable especially since most fans are sold out.I’m so very thankful and highly recommend Home Comfort.

    Long story. But I’ll shorten it.Bought a new Lennox heat pump and air handler in Aug 2024. Things were great until November when heating was needed. Home Comfort was fabulous on having people out here. Sometimes multiple times a week for hours. It turned out that the heat pump was not working properly. Home Comfort got Lennox to replace the heat pump. Thank you to all at Home Comfort. Especially Garrett and Adam (he and another employee) replaced the heat pump in cold rainy conditions. We now have a wonderful working system.

    I have had HCH out several times, even though HCH did not make the initial install of my Lennox Furnace and Heat Pump in 2015. I recently had occasion to require services since the furnace blower motor quit working. The technician (Johnny) that came out turned out to be a truly exceptional worker. He arrived quickly, took time to explain what was being done, and thoroughly checked the system. I am not certain if HCH has a system of assigning preferred technicians to accounts; but, if possible, I would like to be able to use this particular technicians services again (not too soon, however: no offense)!As originally stated my heating/cooling system was installed by another company in 2015. The furnace blower motor was replaced by HCH in 2020 (under warranty), and now in 2024 (not under warranty)! Houston: I think Lennox has a problem! I kept the last changed-out motor, and decided to run a test or two since I found it unimaginable an electric motor needed replacement in under 5 years (TWICE), especially, in a garage environment and enclosed in a sheet metal unit (furnace). Additionally, the technician testing it determined the appropriate voltages were present to the ECM 3.0 unit at the back of the motor. I checked the motor, and found the motor is in good condition (sans the ECM 3.0 control unit). In my considered opinion, an electric motor should last a really long time--longer than a lot of people own their own homes or original heating/cooling setups. I apologize for the long-winded review!

    We have a contract in which they come out twice a year to check on our HVAC system. They always call and set up an appointment and are always on time and do great work. Occasionally they find something that needs fixing and do so quickly and reasonably, but always leave with me feeling confident in the upcoming heating or cooling season.

    Our AC had a capacitor that went bad and it stopped working, less than 4 hrs later and after calling 5 different companies Garritt was there and had diagnosed and fixed it in only about half an hour. Our house has barely warmed up thankfully. Love these guys, super punctual and they seem to care about you as a costumer.

    I knew several folks in the Eugene area who put in a Heatpump system, in their homes. They they each told me Home Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning was absolutely the best.We had them add a Heatpump system into our home on Monday 7/15/24. I was totally impressed by the way they do an install. They were prompt in the morning and began work immediately. They finished around 5pm, they did the install in a day! Now we are enjoying a new cooling system and a more efficient heating system as well. Home Comfort helped make the project a breeze.I recommend, without hesitation Home Comfort to anyone in the market for heating and/or cooling system.Do yourself a favor.BC

The team was accommodating to my immediate needs. I have my house on the market and wanted an inspection included with our realtor.     We are so glad that we chose Home Comfort to replace our old heating system. They were better than their competitor Apline in price, product and service. Kari-Ann is a trustworthy and highly knowledgeable sales person. She had designed my kitchen when she worked at Lowes so we already had a great relationship. She quickly assessed what my family needs were and was able to give us a great deal on Lennox Elite with zoning and air purifier. Joey was the install manager and he was really easy to work with and also very skilled and knowledgeable. It is not easy to open your home to strangers, but the guys at Home Comfort were very respectful and did the work very quickly. Clint was the technician who set the system to fit our needs. I highly recommend Home Comfort. The company is run well and has excellent morale. I will use them again when I build my ADU.

    I had home comfort heating come over and service my unit. They cleaned the inside and the outside units And explained things to me that I did not know. I appreciate that. Showed me how to clean my inside unit. Ive had it for almost 3 years and never clean the filters. So obviously it was well overdue. And now I know to clean my filters twice a month. He was very professional and nice and answered any questions that I had. Will definitely use them again to do regular maintenance.

    Truman was excellent! He called me because he was able to arrive early. He took the time to investigate to find out why my system wasn’t working and gave me an accurate estimate of what it would take to confirm the problem and repair it.He was true to his word, and made sure the system was working perfectly before he left. To access my system he had to take apart a decorative gate then put it back together perfectly. I came back from my vacation to find my house like an icebox and the system kaput.     Home Comfort redesigned our exhaust system in our sublimation department. They did an incredible job. They recently installed some mini splits in two of our temp sensitive areas.     Great experience with this company start to finish. The bidding process was smooth and I had several options to choose from. I ended up going with the high efficiency heat pump system. They were able to get the job scheduled relatively quickly. They were on time and finished exactly when they said they would.     My gas furnace quit working. I called a few places and either I got voicemail, didn’t get a call back or they couldn’t get me on their schedule for a couple days. Home Comfort had Johnny come out the same day!     We did a full home remodel as well an addition. We were introduced to Home Comfort while getting bids for hooking up the mechanics and boiler for our heated flooring system, which they did beautifully and we enjoy it everyday. Doing a full remodel, we then hired their electrical department to do all the electrical for our new addition, living room and some kitchen work. They are so friendly as we’ve had experienced other electrical companies, we know a good one when we see one! We hired Home Comfort again to install our fireplace. I bought the stove from another stove company but decided not to have them install it because they refused to install it the way it’s advertised just because they didn’t want to go into the crawl space. Home Comfort had no problem installing it safely and with the look we were going for! They are all respectful and we were happy to have them in our home. They all got drilled with questions from my sons and answered them as they worked. Nick from electrical even got shot with Nerf bullets as he installed the cable lights for our living room. During a remodel there are many people in and out, many companies and hiccups...but I can stand by the fact that all departments of Home Comfort have rolled with the punches and were there for us when we needed them even in the times when other companies made the mistakes. It was a rough 3-4 months because of the remodel but we only found ourselves grateful we found Home Comfort.

Jody from Home Comfort went out of her way to get our service appointment moved up after some early confusion on what it was we needed.Jeremy came out today and spent the first 15 minutes taking apart the control panels and checking everything so he could come to an unbiased opinion. He discovered the hard start had gone bad, saving us over $2,000. He was extremely professional and did a great job of explaining what he was doing. He never appeared flustered or impatient. Hats off to the entire company, especially Shane. The technician (Valente) arrived on Monday AM, performed a thorough diagnostic and made a recommendation for the specific repair.     The Technician was very polite and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose my problem quickly and accurately. However, I was charged $431.35 for a part that cost about $100. Some places had them for less. I understand labor cost are involved, but it took 15 minutes to install.The $79.00 trip fee was placed on top of that. I wont be calling them again.Update: After calling Home Comfort Heating and voicing my question over the price of parts - I was contacted by the office in order to resolve my concern. Apparently local distributor prices are higher - even to contractors - than internet prices! That huge disparity would certainly encourage customers to buy their own parts online for less than even a contractor could get them. Nonetheless, Home Comfort is tied to their local distributors and the price they have to pay them. With that said, they did reduce the price of the item that I had to pay and promised to reimburse me. I appreciate the effort they made to accommodate me and the speed to which they acted.

    I have always had successful and professional service when Home Comfort has performed maintenance or repaired something in my home..today Technician Thor Thurman went far and beyond a simple work order on my AC.     After the brutal summer of 2014 we decided to have air conditioning installed. A friend recommended Home Comfort & for good reason. Jake came out to do the bid & was very knowledgeable & gave us options. After an inspection revealed some damage to our 20+ year old heating systems we decided to have it replaced in addition tothe air conditioning. We were able to use the existing duct system for heating & air & a heat pump was installed outside for the air conditioning. They worked quickly, just took a 1 1/2 days to have everything completed.     I had a great experience with HCH. I originally wanted them to come and check out baseboards that werent working and install cadet heaters. They got me in quickly, gave their opinion and i decided on a ductless heat pump (I wanted something efficient) and a few cadet heaters. They gave a fair price and were able to install the following week. The team was finished within 6-7 hours and the system has been working wonderfully. We did experience a defective heater in one of our rooms (it stopped working after the install) and HCH came by first thing the next morning and replaced the heater, and credited me for the replacement. Overall, it was a pretty smooth experience and I do reccommend their service.

    We have a finicky boiler system. Once we got Jeremy Steele on the case all of our problems are taken care of in a professional and timely manner. Not everybody knows about boilers, but Jeremy and his team (Johnny and Jeremiah are great too) sure do. They are the NICEST guys and VERY professional. We recommend them whenever we can.

    Over the weekend my gas furnace broke down, so I called in to home comfort. The girls who scheduled my apt were very polite. Later that day a technician (Jeremiah) came out n fixed My heater. Jeremiah was very polite, showed up on time as promised and was very curtious with wearing his shoe covers, which I thought was awesome (cause Comcast guys dont even do that). Also educated me on how to use my thermostat. Me and my family have always used home comfort since we moved to this area, and highly recommend their service.

    They did a great job solving a drainage issue on a mini split that is upstairs and difficult to access because it is recessed into the ceiling.     We have been customers of Home Comfort for a number of years. this past week our AC/heating unit needed to be replaced. My wife and I do have some medical conditions that respond to temperatures. With the help, support and understanding from Megan, Gerrit, and John, we were able to get our unit replaced that helped us beat the heat. Megan is absolutely wonderful as the administrative support staff for scheduling. She is very professional and understanding, Gerrit did a fantastic job in removing/replacing the ac/heating unit in both a professional and friendly manner. He made sure we understood how the new equipment worked in detail. John did the electrical work in a very professional and supportive effort. Because of the excellent staff like Megan, Gerrit, and John is why we continue to remain as customers of Home Comfort. As represented by these three staff members and their work efforts, and other staff we have had working at our home, Home Comfort is the best in the HVAC/plumbing world! Eugene/Springfield is fortunate to have such an organization. One additional staff member that was a wonderful support is Keri Anne Eccles. She did an excellent job of explaining our purchasing options and was very supportive of us as we went through the decision-making and selection process of the Ductless heat pump we ultimately chose to purchase.
