Josh was incredibly responsive to my last minute request. His team arrived promptly, was very knowledgeable and engineered a solution that was above my expectations. His team’s work allowed a bigger remodeling project to proceed on time and in a way that was less disruptive to the house itself! Finally, Josh and team were very respectful and easy to work with. They’ll be my first call moving forward!

Let me start out by saying Kennie Electric is by far the most knowledgeable,dependable, and reasonably priced electrician in the Low Country. This was a new construction I had them contracted to do. Joshs crew was professional and respectful of the property. Meaning cleaning up and doing work that passes code inspections. They even helped install my wifes 59 lb light fixtures over kitchen island.Thank you Kennie Electric

Josh was responsive from the outset in our communication process. His pricing is reasonable, and he does what he says he’s going to do.The person who came to install our new outlet had to cut into the drywall. This was a critical outlet installation because it was needed to power our new, very enhanced wine and beer cooler!!!I was concerned we might have to do touch up painting around the area, but he assured me we would not. And he was correct! It looked the outlet had been there the entire time, and he left no mess behind.We will definitely be using Josh and his team for more work when needed!

The estimate for the work we had done was about half the price from a competitor, and we were thrilled the outcome.

My family and I are impressed with the work Josh Kennie performed at our home. He responded to our inquiry immediately, he is a great communicator, he was punctual, professional, priced well, and above all, he quickly solved the electrical problems in our home. He fixed the outlets that were not working within minutes. He even found a solution to a problem we were having with power surges in our circa 1800 home, which happened to be coming from the connection to the telephone pole outside the home. We had been struggling with the power surges for years and we were so happy that Josh solved this issue for us. We are extremely grateful for his help and we highly recommend Kennie Electric.

Josh is a polite young man, who has recently moved from Maine to John’s Island. He gave us a very fair price for the work, showed up on time, completed his work in a professional manner and cleaned up when finished. He is licensed and has cleared all the hoops for working on Kiawah. I highly recommend him for any electrical work you may need. He also does landscape lighting.

The best electrician I have ever worked with. Not only did Josh do excellent work, when the county took forever and many attempts to permit. Josh stayed on top of them for 4 months while they drug thier feet until he was able to get them to finish the approval.

I renovate homes for a living and wished I found Josh way sooner than I did, He basically did a full electrical job in my early 1900’s, 5 bedroom 2 bath 2,550sq foot multi unit home. He upgraded every wire, outlet, panel and GFI In the house. He was diligent, professional, punctual, Thorough, and priced competitively. Highly recommend!
