    We purchased our home in 2014 from an elderly couple who were the second owners of a house that was built in 1932. The house and area are both historic and Its interior decor displayed a time period of floral wall paper and Art Deco bathroom designs. It was important we modernize our bedrooms and common areas throughout the home from the beginning. We are now at the stage of tweaking bucket list ideas throughout the home that may complete a room. These projects require attention to detail carpentry and design and that is where MTI Carpentry comes in. The design idea was replacing an unused original dishwasher with more cabinet and drawer space. To note, we kept the original 1932 wooded cabinets and had them repaired and repainted so the task for MTI Carpentry was to match the existing cabinets so that it would pass as if it was the original. MTI Carpentry exceeded our expectations and although it was a small project, craftsmanship and detail was on full display. We are extremely happy with our results and Morgan was excellent understanding our ideas and seeing them through. I almost forgot to add MTI Carpentry also revamped our front door pilasters and rams head pediment moulding. All original wood molding over 90 years old needed a facelift and MTI Carpentry met the challenge. I would recommend MTI Carpentry for any job as future collaborations are definitely in the works.     Highly recommendMorgan and his team did an incredible job!We had Morgan design and build custom shelves and cabinets for our laundry, entry hall and mud room.Morgan is a true artist! He is meticulous, creative and professional. Communication was clear all throughout our project. Any issues that popped up were resolved quickly and thoroughly.     Morgan is a perfectionist. He is extremely thorough, which translates to the best quality. He built in overhead storage units above all my closets, put in custom doors for the opening, along with custom closet shelves. Couldn’t be happier with the result. He cleaned up everyday during the process and when he left there was not a blemish anywhere. He brought ideas from day one when it was tough to communicate the vision for the project. Highly recommend Morgan for high quality, custom, carpentry work.

    Im a new brand new homeowner trying to make an old home livable and the team at MTI Carpentry has been a bright spot in an otherwise tedious process. I had no idea just how hard it is to find reliable professionals who care about the quality of their work, but Morgan and his team are responsive, honest, professional, and they actually know what theyre doing. I wish I had met them before I called any other contractors.Ive included before-and-after photos as an example.They answer when you call. They show up on time. They are transparent with what theyre going to do and how much it costs. And, they provide high-quality workmanship.

    Morgan was extremely professional, communicative and helpful with my very specific need for two custom cabinets to fit into tight spaces (see picture attached). From measurement to finish to install, Morgan puts love and care into every detail of his projects, and ensures that expectations are exceeded.     After hearing so many horror stories from so many people about contractors who take your deposit and you never hear from them again, or they get 3/4 of the way through a job and suddenly cease all contact, I procrastinated on my home project for several years, not wanting to deal with that hassle. But, I can honestly say, Morgan was the total opposite. He was responsive, he was proactive, he showed up, he finished the job approximately when he said he would, and genuinely cared about his work. He and his crew set up a lean-to in my backyard so they could cut wood in the rain and they worked weekends to catch-up when they briefly fell behind. No project is without its share of hiccups, but whatever hiccups we had were relatively minor and we were able to navigate them as they arose in a frank and honest manner. Not to mention, we are absolutely delighted with the end product. He converted a non-functional basement bathroom into a functioning mop closet, which involved relocating plumbing inside our walls. He renovated our bedroom closet to give us extra storage space. Not to mention, the built-in bookshelves and vestibule coat rack/cabinetry he did look amazing!

    I got Mti number from a friend of mine and I feel very blessed and happy he send it to me. Morgan is a very detailed person and goes over and beyond to do a great job and please his client.     I looked on Google and I found MTI Carpentry and their reviews were great. I contacted them for their references and they checked out.I had them repair/refinish my wood floors ,custom-make a few floating shelves, and installed a couple of radiator covers.They were doing such a fine job that I continued to let them redo my cabinets in the kitchen ,install a new tiled backsplash and paint my one-bedroom condo.Morgan and his men from start to finish were very polite, neat and very considerate to my requests for what I was looking for.If you are looking for a great contractor, I would highly recommend MTI Carpentry.

    Morgan is one of a kind, diligent, great communicator and has real talents when it comes to home reno projects.
