    We have a small backyard that we wanted to turn into an outdoor living area. After reviewing a few quotes we decided to go with TCP. Justin did a great job helping us design the project. The design process went smoothly and one of the few negatives I experienced during the project was lack of communication. I feel like I had to pull information instead of it flowing to me. Once the project was complete we had a few warranty repairs. I worked with RJ Rauda for the warranty stuff and it went well. Overall we’re satisfied with the project.

    We love our new patio. The process from start to finish went very smoothly and professionally. Logan and Jesus were a delight to work with. We enjoy our patio everyday since its completion in February. Building it in winter was the best option and it was ready in time for our spring flower planting. It is the best decision we ever made. Lots of space for family dining, cookouts and game watching on our outdoor tv. I highly recommend TCP Custom Outdoor Living!

    Our project turned out better than we ever imagined. The experience was seamless and once the project was underway everything moved smoothly until completion.One big factor was our Project Manager, RJ Rauda. He was attentive to our needs and always willing to make suggestions and recommendations. One of the best suggestions he made was for lighting the exterior of the porch. It looks great and really enhances the overall look of the porch.We highly recommend TCP.

    Recently had construction projects completed by Texas Custom Patios managed by Justin Myers and can highly recommend him and this company for home improvements! Justin, Jesus and Seth provided outstanding customer service and communication to make sure we were happy and the construction was completed correctly. They would email, text or call me for every step to make sure choices were made available with time to decide or to adjust. The different construction groups for our projects were courteous, polite and respectful of us and our property, this extended from the framers to the painter without exception.

    Our experience with Texas Custom Patios was beyond our expectations. Josh Murray consulted with us before the build on options, designed a patio that was better than imagined, worked with us to include our ideas and allowed us to view a couple of open projects before beginning our project. Joshs communication from the beginning to the end was exceptional. He answered all my questions and addressed any concern very quickly. Working with Josh was the best part. His enthusiasm for our project and his assistance in choosing the elements to make sure they coordinated well with each other was appreciated. The crews that worked on our project were very professional and paid attention to the small details. The final result is impressive. We enjoy our addition daily.     We recently had an aging pool removed and turned to TCP Custom Outdoor Living to create a large screened-in patio in its place. From the very start, the experience has been positive. We wanted to replace some windows with a large sliding door connecting the entire back of our house to a covered, screened-in patio with an outdoor kitchen, dining, living space and fire pit area. It was crucial for us to work with professionals who had substantial experience with projects of this size (approx 1,100 sq ft).TCP exceeded our expectations in every way. The 3D rendition they provided was absolutely stunning, and it truly captured our vision for transforming our backyard. Justin listened carefully to our ideas and turned them into an amazing mock-up that we fell in love with immediately.We were so fortunate to have RJ assigned as our project manager.     My experience was excellent, once the project started in Late September and completed just prior to Thanksgiving. Logan was my Project manager and did an excellent job keeping me informed and keeping an eye on the contractors. The contractors were supreme. Each was professional and left the premises clean at the end of the day. To meet the holiday deadline (because family was coming), they stayed late. I started out wanting a pergola. but am so glad I went with the covered patio option instead. This was indeed a custom solution tailored to my needs and vision. The gable roof that seamlessly tied into the existing structure is absolutely unbelievable. My friends are in awe. By the way, I added the drop-down shades, see pics below

Converting an open air atrium into interior living space.Exterior foundation, wall, and window renovation, along with interior HVAC, electrical, and finish work (drywall, paint, trim) was required.The work included adding on a new roof and integrating the structure into our existing house.The result was a seamless coordinating room that looks original. Create new outdoor living space by transforming unusable side yard/vegetation space into a pristine travertine patio for entertaining and outdoor cooking.RJ and his expert exterior crew made suggestions to ensure that drainage and access were optimal.Both jobs went flawlessly.     Texas Custom Patios completed a screened-in porch addition on my home. I am thrilled with the results, as it was just what I wanted. The profile matches well with the existing house. Logan Schell designed the addition, and Taylor Campbell supervised the work. Whenever a question arose, I could easily get the attention of Taylor or Logan to address the issue.

    We contracted with TCP to design and build an outdoor living area as well as converting and expanding an existing covered patio into an outdoor dining area and kitchen. We liked the portfolio that TCP had as it exemplified the quality and professionalism we were looking for. From the design rendering to the finished product the entire experience exceeded our expectations. With all of the moving parts involved in a project this large there will always be periodic delays. Logan set realistic expectations up front and communicated every Friday what had been done that week and the schedule for the next week or two with time frames. This was extremely helpful in keeping everyone on the same page. He and Seth were prompt when we had questions. We made a couple of changes as the project progressed and we felt any cost adjustment was fair. Katy was very helpful in picking out the various materials and colors - help we desperately needed! Logan was able to locate the exact brick used on the house making the project look like it was part of the original construction of the house. Most importantly, the space looks great and has become our favorite room in the house.

    Love my new patio! I wanted to open up my backyard space so I could get more use out of it and called TCP for help.     From project planning to the final touch up paint, working with TCP has been a great experience. We interviewed several companies, and none of them came as prepared as our meeting with Justin. Justin asked for several items of information prior to our first call and from there, he came up with an amazing design video of what our backyard would look like. We also discussed options that we weren’t even thinking about. Once we decided to move forward, the project was then handed over to John, project manager who took care of the coordination of the entire project.John kept us well informed about every step and always responded quickly when we had any questions. I would absolutely recommend TCP, and we will use them again in the future. We love our new space, it is close to 500 sq feet of amazing outdoor living area. Our backyard is U shaped with West/Southwest exposure, and we have already been able to enjoy it more than we had in the 5 years that we have been in the house.If you are looking at a backyard project, I would definitely call TCP.

    After spending several weeks reviewing multiple contractors online, we narrowed down our selection to four to provide us with bids. From there, we spoke at length to each contractor to better understand their processes and feel confident in their ability to execute a quality job. We met with Collin Jarrell at Texas Custom Patios and were very impressed with their approach and attention to detail. As promised, Collin stayed in touch regularly to manage our project and ensure we were taken care of every step of the way. With any project, there will be questions, comments, concerns raised and Collin was 1) transparent 2) honest and 3) reliable. They got the job done and got it done right.     We are overwhelmingly satisfied with all the great work Texas Custom Patios (TCP) did to give us the patio of our dreams. We realize the building/construction industry has a bad reputation for not responding or showing up for jobs, but we experienced none of that with TCP. Everyone from TCP, including all the contractors working on our project, were responsive, professional, and highly skilled in their jobs. We have watched the frustration our next door neighbors have had, and still are experiencing, working with a different company. We are giddy (can we say smug?) with our decision to go with TCP!! :)We were absolutely thrilled with Collin Jarrells design work! We had several initial meetings with Collin to design our patio, in which he was responsive, patient and professional. As part of the initial consultation and quote, Collin created our project using online 3D software that we could see via Zoom calls. Other companies we talked to would not provide an online visual until after we signed the contract. Collin made changes real time and provided explanations and suggestions to give us a gorgeous patio. Collin has a great eye for designing patios! Collin was the reason we decided to choose TCP as our contractor.Our project manager, Rob Baird, is great at his job. He moved our project along smoothly, even when dealing with delays due to COVID. Rob was patient and responsive to our (ok…mostly my husband’s) many texts asking for updates and status. We were very impressed with how well Rob kept track of the many moving parts…and were happy with his willingness to make changes when we wanted upgrades, or when we had a few hiccups. Rob was always pleasant, responsive, and very easy to work with. We already miss seeing him in our back yard!We are truly delighted with everyone at TCP for making our patio building experience painless and pleasant. We really enjoyed meeting everyone who worked on our patio, and are humbled by the expertise and professionalism.     We are extremely happy with the job Texas Custom Patios did updating our patio. Although we wanted to extend our covered patio to include a dining area, during the design process, Collin offered several suggestions regarding lighting, ceiling and flooring options. The overall result exceeded our expectations!TCP were able to successfully deal with the HOA approvals and met their original schedule. Rob kept us up to date on all the activities and did a fantastic job managing all the subcontractors.     The entire process of adding on a new porch was fairly easy. Collin assisted with the design and was very helpful. He was able to design exactly what we wanted. From the start, our main contact Collin has been highly professional, responsive and a great listener...we were not looking to create a cookie cutter patio and he was instrumental in turning our vision into reality. He was always accessible and consistently kept me up to speed on our progress....even if it was bad news (weather delays, etc), Collin was always straightforward with me and on top of the situation throughout the various phases of our project.     Collin and Joshua and the rest of the TCP team did an awesome job. There were a lot of things that we wanted to do, but because of other projects, we designed our backyard living area in phases. The initial phase was the extension and covered area. Collin worked with the architect and after much back and forth with the City, we were able to get the best design possible. Though it delayed the project, it was well worth it. The patience and dedication they presented during this time was commendable.Once permitting was achieved, Joshua took the reigns and it was off to the races. This was a significant project so from start to finish it took almost 6 months. The results were outstanding and it was a true teamwork effort that modified the details as things progressed and certain looks had to be adjusted based on conditions. That did not stop Josh and his team and in the end it seems that we have an awesome finished product.As Joshua can attest to, I am a detailed oriented person (engineer by education) and there were a few times that he asked me to trust him that the look would turn out the way we envisioned and it was true.     My wife and I worked with Justin Meyers and Logan Schell to design and build our new backyard resort. Justin knocked it out of the park and brought to life what we asked for and more! He thought we were crazy at first when we told him how large we wanted it to be, but he is a phenomenal designer and he listens to what you want and he makes it a reality. Logan was fantastic to work with as the onsite project manager and he was extremely responsive to each and every question and call along the way. The sub-contractors that TCP use are extremely reliable and absolutely expert craftsmen in each of their trades. The new patio and deck area is as large as our first home and has every single aspect that we wanted and then some. We use it constantly and have had so many neighbors come and ask to see it.     We have a pretty small backyard that was not usable. Justin Meyers came up with a rendering that provided a fire pit, built in seating, retaining walls, and enough space for our grill and a small table! We went from having zero space to about 500 SF of an amazing backyard with a screened in patio. We get nothing but compliments when people walk by. Justin took care of everything from the rendering and concepts all the way through construction. The crews he had working were very nice and professional too. When we bought our house, the “patio” was a plain cement slab that was unusable in the summer, marginally useful in fall, winter, and spring, and unsightly in all seasons.Brandon from Texas Custom Patios helped us design our new patio (and avoid a few near-miss design mistakes) and walked us through the construction process. The process was turnkey and quick — far faster, in fact, that we had been told. Compared to other remodels that we have been through, the construction process was remarkably smooth, clean and non-disruptive.
