    I contacted Scott regarding the installation of a whole house surge protector and a PM on my existing Generac 22k system. Scott was very responsive to my call and set up an appointment to do both of the above. On 10/16, Scott arrived at my residence on time and ready to work. He was very professional, informative and courteous during his installation and maintenance of our generator system. Scott has a very strong work ethic and it shows in his precision and attention to detail. To wrap up the review of Upstate Power Systems, I was more than pleased with Scott’s work, his care and cleanliness in and around our house, and his knowledge and professionalism.     Scott was amazing to work with. He came out, gave an estimate, listened to my needs and installed the generator a month later. He was prompt, knowledgeable and professional. He even stayed behind a while to make sure my Mobile Link was working (he had to call the service to fix a mistake they made) to make sure I was all set. It was such a great experience, I even named my generator Scotty!

    Scott and his associates were very professional and thorough when installing my new whole house Generac system.They covered all aspects of the necessary work. I was at home during the installation process and was notified as the natural gas and electrical phases took place.When the trial transition from NYSEG power to Generac power took place, I was notified in order to prepare for that in advance, IE: computer backup, etc.When the work was completed, everything was cleaned up to its original status or better.Also, upon completion, I was walked through all of the necessary information to monitor and control the system from either on site or remotely by cell phone.I would recommend Upstate Power Systems to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and competent company.     I got three quotes to install a standby generator at our house. I was planning on a 14KW generator to just barely cover our needs. Scott Forte was able to install an 18KW generator for what others were quoting for a 14KW generator. The electrical inspector was impressed with the work performed by Scotts electrician.

    We lost power last December just long enough to break a hot water baseboard run on the top level of our home that led to disasterous flooding on the lower two floors. Beyond the repairs, we knew it was time to get a generator to help prevent this again. Scott Forte came recommended to us by a friend and he was absolutely the best to work with. He helped us navigate the right generator choice for our home, proper spot for placement, upgrades to our electrical infrastructure and gas meter, did all the leg work with NYSEG and local permits. Everything! His team was professional and made it look like they were never here. Cant say enough good things about him and his service. You wont be disappointed!!

    Scott provides a very thorough service at a fair price. He came to my home in Mendon on a wickedly cold day two weeks ago to service my generator and did a great job in a timely fashion despite the frigid temps. He found some issues that had to be addressed. He came back the following week to correct some wiring that had been done incorrectly by a previous company that I wont name but would like to. Grrrrr. That second job required a great deal of diagnostics on Scotts part but he eventually got to the bottom of it and now my generator is running perfectly. Power outage?? Bring it on!!! Scott is honest, diligent and delivers very reliable workmanship. I highly recommend Upstate Power Systems to anyone. Thanks again Scott !!!

    Scott texted me to tell me he was on his way, he was here early and did a fantastic job.Very informative, told me of possible issues I may have , like battery health . Didn’t try to sell me anything, did the maintenance on the generator and was meticulous about his work. Generator looked better when he left then when he arrived. He cleaned the entire unit, inside and out side.Upon entering my house he was respectful of my hardwood floors and made sure his feet were not going to damage floors. He went thru the electrical system and checked all connections to assure proper operation.Very highly recommended.

    From start to finish, from the initial quote and to the final install, Scott Forte and his team exceeded my expectations. After the install a full test was run and our new 24kW generator was quietly humming along and powering up the entire home. However on the mobil link application there was an error that posted indicating a false state. Scott stayed a couple hours over and worked with GENERAC support to troubleshoot. He replaced the WiFi card but the error persisted. He finally resolved the error by replacing a controller board. He wouldnt quit until everything was working perfectly. Excellent service - kudos to Scott and his team for a job well done.

    Our warranty had expired on our 10 yr old generator and our local rep who was no longer working on generators highly recommended Scott Forte from Upstate Power Systems. He answered immediately and came out within 2 days at the scheduled time and made the repair that we were unable to do ourselves. He was pleasant, personable, and professional. We found his prices to be fair and reasonable and sensed that he was someone we could trust. Overall, his service exceeded our expectations.     I would highly recommend Upstate Power Systems! I had two other companies here to fix our Generac Generator and they both said we needed a new generator which would cost over $8000. Upstate Power Services came and was able to fix our old generator for less than $1000. Scott did tests to find the problem and get the generator running! He knows his business and will do all he can to fix you generator! If he cannot, his cost for a new generator is less than a lot of companies! Thank you Scott!
