    Nick S , Devon A , and Josh H did a great job. 1 day job. They were courteous and did what was expected. They didn’t seemed rushed, from what I could over hear and see, it seemed like they had a good time working together as a team. The foreman kept me up to date with any flaws they ran into. My bill estimate never changed, luckily! Very impressed with the work and our new sump pump.

    Austin T. and Brady P from Rush City did a great job! And they were so patient and kind! I had to make an adjustment to the plan day-of, and I was so worried the adjustment wouldn’t be possible. But Austin T. said “no problem!” He even adjusted the cost and financing option day-of accordingly! I was told the job might tale two days, but they were done in 1!! And they were super sweet to my dog, patient with her barking, and they walked me through everything they were doing before and after the job was done. They waterproofed, added a back up sump pump, with backup battery, and added an air filtration system. Would recommend! 10/10!

    I had a failing foundation wall and Jeremiah T, Dion R, and Jaden R did fantastic work installing the intellebrace system in my basement. There was a slight miscommunication prior to the crew arriving but Jeremiah found a solution quickly, avoiding any delays. I now have a sturdy, safe, and structurally sound foundation again! The guys finished on time, cleaned up very well and answered any questions I had. Great work! I would definitely recommend to anybody experiencing foundation problems.

    We recently had Bryce J. inspect our home, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the moment he arrived, it was clear he was incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented.     Kevin P was very professional and thorough at examining and troubleshooting issues with my basements bowing walls. He had great empathy and creative solutions for addressing what he saw. The i-beams installation work got done in just one day (rather than two) and there were gratefully no complications. The team cleaned up the area thoroughly as well and did everything with excellence.

    Although the crew was unable to complete the job we had expected, Andrew was amazing to work with. He kept us abreast of everything they ran across including what might happened if they moved forward. He was very informative and helpful. He also contacted other engineers to confirm his decision. He went far beyond helping us, he even assisted us in finding a sub contractor to rebuild the basement wall and sent them measurements and pictures of the space. He is working on getting our down payment returned. Devon and Dion were great to work with as well, friendly and hard workers. Would definitely recommend all three of them.

    Amazing to work with Andrew and Noah on our foundation repair. They kept me informed the entire time and answered all of my questions.     JP came over to help me understand and give me solutions on crawlspace that other contractors did not want to go into. He helped me understand whats included in the solution and why its going make a big change to my home. He spent a quite a bit of time (almost 2 hours) taking all my questions/concerns and giving me feedback and answers that made sense to me. The work is some what extensive and he helped me get a great price. Just by the amount of time he put into getting me the right solution for a great price, I am excited to see the work and enjoy the completed solution.

    Our experience with this company was great. Quote was fairly easy and they had a good team handling all the scheduling and communication. Day of the install we had Jeremiah T and Dian R in Minneapolis who were class acts. Extremely professional and proactive with their communication before and during the job. Both worked quickly and left our basement cleaner than they found it. Highly recommend!

    My install technicians Noah Asheher and Alex Few were excellent. They called the day prior to remind us of the pending appointment and showed up on time the next day. They walked me through what the plan was prior to starting the work and were very courteous. They ran into some issues with our sprinkler line being in the way and took the initiative to circumvent to make sure the job was done right. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after the installation. It was a cold and wet day. It would have been easy to cut some corners to try to get done and out of the rain, but they pushed through and went above and beyond. I appreciated the work ethic and professionalism from these two. What a great team!

Extremely hard workers, honest, informative, and at every turn, even with changes they pulled it off!     We had a great experience with Innovative Basement Authority. A large crack appeared in the basement wall of our 1960s home. From the free inspection to the completion of the needed reinforcements, Innovative was professional, informative, and efficient. Wyatt gave us multiple quotes and options with thorough explanations of each. Nick S., Devon, and Josh showed up on time and finished the project earlier than we expected. They went straight to work and cleaned up well. I would recommend Innovative from start to finish for foundation issues!

    THE FOUNDATION HAS BEEN REPAIRED!!!! 😆💙🎉Thank you Lehens for coming out to take a look at the wall & installing the temporary braces on short notice. Im glad they ended up not being needed, but they really put my mind at ease!Thank you Jackson & Adrian for getting those straps on the North wall so quickly & figuring out what was going to work for the South wall. I really appreciated the explanation of how the IntelliBrace system works, what was causing trouble for the installation, & how you were able to fix it!I bought this 1917 house in July of 2021 & have been trying to get the foundation done ever since. It is SUCH a relief to not have this worry in the back of my head anymore! I can’t wait till the cement is dry enough to record this milestone 🤩

    Ricky from your office did a very good inspection. Tested sump pump and found it was working well and other previous work was all okay. He did inform me of items that might help our heating costs and health concerns so we are glad he made suggestions and looking into these.     Isaiah S, Matt N and Tristan S worked on my basement. They were very pleasant, efficient and really knew their stuff. I was scheduled for 2 days of work and they finished in one day and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this company if you are having any type of problem they are capable of fixing. They also did an amazing job of cleaning up. Im looking forward to not worrying in the spring if Im going to have water in my basement. Money well spent for peace of mind and a job well done!

    William, Angel, and Pharoah were so polite, thorough, and careful. The gave is updates and inspections every step of the way. The work was on my mom’s home in Springfield, MN. They were so kind to our mom of 87 yrs old. Cleanup was great. Highly recommend their business.

    I cant say enough great things about Gregg D. and Kyle W.! Gregg kept us informed of the process before the site visit and once they were here, he and Kyle were professional, courteous, and very attentive to our concerns. On a couple of questions I had, Gregg was very patient and considerate in answering those items. In showing the process and explaining the steps taken, he gave me a lot more insight into what it takes to complete a job of this nature. We are very pleased with the results and will highly recommend!

    We hired Innovative Basement Authority to waterproof our mother’s basement and reinforce the foundation. Our crew was led by Dion Rozumny assisted by Jaden and Seth. They finished the job in four days in sometimes below zero temperatures with no complications. Dion communicated clearly and with uncommon forthrightness and the team worked extremely well together. But mainly they just worked really hard- harder than I’ve ever seen for this type of work. They were extremely polite and good natured but I want to emphasize how focused and dedicated they were as a team. They dug ditches in a snow squall with 40 mph winds and -10 wind chills without a complaint. These guys are really something special and I’m very confident about the work they did to secure my mother’s house as a result. The inspector even noted that this company and crew are known for doing superior work in a very respectful, efficient way. I strongly recommend this company and the all-star crew of Dion, Jaden, and Seth. Absolutely superb experience from start to finish!

    Innovative is a rock star operation. Affordable and practical solution for a fairly complicated situation on a leaning retaining wall amidst a transfer of ownership of the home. They were always a phone call away and communication was first class. Nick Swanson and Devon Alexander did a great job.

    We had our garage floor leveled and cracks filled and a basement wall waterproofed (gutter system with pump and wall seal) in Minneapolis in 2024. Both projects were done by people who take pride in their work and strive for the best outcome.Our garage floor was in sad shape, and Andrew spent extra time to get it as level as could be and filled the many cracks thoroughly. One side of the garage went up 4 inches to make it level again.As for our basement, Jeremiah T, Dion R, and Jaden R did a great job installing the gutter system under the floor with the pump, drainage, and wall seal membrane that went with it.

These guys were very professional, explained everything they were going to do and then just got to it. My sales guy although knowledgeable said they would take two days and these guys were done before 4 pm the first day! I would hire them back any day

    Great company, great team. From bid process with Brian to execution with Mark and Brandon everyone did exactly what they promised when they promised. I couldnt be more pleased with the final result. My patio no longer drains to the foundation but away as it should even in the heaviest rain. Would use these guys again in a heartbeat! Thanks!

Starting with the sales person Travis Harper to the two wonderful workmen Jeremiah T. and Dion R.Everyone called to tell me their names and when they would arrive so I would know who they were.Jeremiah and Dion were here for 12 1/2 hours working their hearts out. They were very conscious about putting drop cloths down as they had to bring everything up from my finished lower level through the house.     Our experience with IBA was fantastic from beginning to end. We discovered some pretty bad foundation damage in our garage and IBA had someone out the next day. Michael Kurr was our estimator - he was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain what was happening and what could be done. When the team showed up 6 weeks later, they couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Nick Swanson and Devon Alexander were our main team, and they always stopped to take the time and explain everything to us in a patient manner, despite fighting constant flooding in our dig. I was very impressed with how they were able to execute the plan exactly as stated, despite multiple setbacks from Mother Nature. Very impressed with these guys. I really hope I never need them again, but if I do, I know exactly who to call :)

    In May 2024 we had Darius Horton and hi crew come and raised a corner of our kitchen. Darius and his crew were very polite. Hard working. .I had some health issues and talked to Riley Cowen. Who wasnt the person who my husband contacted for the job .Riley did a good relating my issues to his higher uppers. RILEY was a good guy. I wasnt happy with the higher uppers. I felt like the higher uppers didnt care and did not get me the information I needed.My husband contacted them for another job. Against my will. Riley was the person who came out to this call. I told him that if it was up to me I wouldnt have had this company back. Riley did really listen to me. By the end of the conversation he I thanked him.We did purchase a dehumidifier/airpurifer combo. It was to the point I couldnt breathe in my basement smelt like mold and very damp . This machine is amazing. I recommend this machine for anyone who has a mold problem in the basement.I recommend Riley to come and be the representative. He has very good listening ear and really cares about this company and where it is going.I met Riley in person

    Nick S and Gunner R are pure professionals at thier trade. Very knowledgeable and took a lot of time explaining the installation process. Able to answer my questions before I asked them. Truly seemed to enjoy what they do and working with each other, hold on to this team. It will take time to see how well the system works, but I am very confident they will stand behind it! I highly recommend IBA. Shop around and look at other systems, but I am sure you will come back here. Ask for Nick and Gunner too!

    Nick, Gunnar and Jack came over to do a partial basement interior drain and sump system install that I had been waiting on getting started for several years, and they made it look nice with minimal intervention to the area. It was such a sigh of relief to see it done well and at reasonable timing. The persistent small basement leak issue had been happening every spring and fall for 8 years. Now its all set up with the best fix money can buy. So glad for their valued help!After the job was done, (and even somewhat during the job) Nick made sure to answer any questions and be very thorough in showing me every feature that was added, how to maintain the system, etc.This was an ideal experience, and I trust the same will be true for you if you have these guys come over! Only thing that could be better for me is if it were all free, but these guys have to go home and take care of their families too just like the rest of us. The reasonable pricing works for me :)-Sam

    So things turned out great in the end. We found our way to a happy resolution that didn’t involve the legal system and I am grateful for the care the company showed me. The minor corrections I requested have been completed, the permit missed during company reorganization has been obtained and I am happy. Back to the original five star rating!————I did get a response - and a permit - but still lost 3 months time where my subfloor was open waiting for a final inspection without a response from IBA. I asked that the company give me a discount to compensate me for the mortgage payments I paid while twiddling my thumbs, loss of my crew etc but it’s been a month and no word from them. And now winter is coming...————-Do Not Use. I used them 3 months ago and unfortunately left a 5 star review. Now I can’t do that. No permit. 3 areas where the foundation is left hanging. Multiple calls trying to get someone out to fix the areas without a response from management. The company initially was so quick to fix it and I spent over 40 thousand dollars - then to have my contractor show me what I paid for. I am sick.

    Gregg and Gunnar did a fantastic job of lifting and sealing my garage floor. After 20 years of slowly failing, sinking, cracking, they were able to get it back to acceptable condition. Itll never be flat like fresh poured concrete but, it is so much better after their work.They took the time to explain the process and also any areas where they were unable to get the slab perfectly flat again, they explained why. They were quick, cleaned up after themselves, and were patient in explaining the process and results.

    Derek, Zack, Lance, Adam just left. All 4 guys did a great job. Very professional. Explained each step as they went. They made sure not to do loud work during my meeting that I had while they were here working in my basement. I was very appreciative of that. They were very patient with my dog who wanted to be part of their team. If it wasnt for the noise that there work causes, I wouldnt have even known they were here. Derek took the extra time and explained exactly how the pump is going to work and what warning signs to watch for. I saw some of the mess while they were working and I was worried I would have a disaster to clean up afterwards. I have no worries they cleaned up their own mess the only thing that I can tell is just the different color of cement between what they did and whats been there forever. Pictures were taken right away so the cement is still wet. Kudos to all four again very professional

    I want to express that the work/labor done on the foundation repair job itself was great. Hopefully it all holds up, but I don’t foresee that to be problematic at this time even though the job just wrapped up a few days ago. Time will tell. Jeremiah, Alex, and Dustin showed up each day and did a great job even though what was slated to be a one-day job stretched over three days and a snowstorm. I can’t say enough about their hard work and their great explanation of steps involved in the pier and lifting process.The rest of the process was not the best experience from a customer perspective. The salesman who came to do the initial quote for whatever reason didn’t extend the pier plan out as far as the crack in the foundation reached. While these things happen and I could understand some variance, it was the salesman himself who pointed out this “sister crack” and very animatedly discussed the implications of it, so why it would have been left unaddressed in the plan seems like a pretty big blind spot, dropped ball, whatever you want to call it. At the end of the day this oversight shot my cost up by close to 50% of the originally stated price, which is significant. It really eroded a lot of the trust I had going into the project.*EDITI wanted to edit my review based on some follow up provided by Eric from IBA. Not entirely sure of his title, but he is clearly a supervisor who can authorize credits that the others I’d been in contact with could not. I am upgrading my review to four stars because Eric reached out to me, and after some haggling, arranged a refund of the extra, unexpected cost of the work beyond the originally quoted price. This was extremely helpful to me in my situation and was much appreciated! At the end of the day I cannot give five stars with everything that happened, but I did want to be transparent and acknowledge their compromise to help me gain satisfaction with the work that was done.

They kept me appraised of all of the steps they took. It was very interesting to me as to how these piers are installed. They covered up all of the items we had in the garage and left the garage in a very clean state. Given all the dirt they dug up and concrete they had to mix, I was impressed as to how clean the garage was afterward.

There was a major disconnect between what the salesmen said they could do and what the contractors actually could do. Two salesmen told me they could level our concrete, and it didnt work at all. The contractor even told me, we never should have taken this job.In fairness, concrete leveling can be unpredictable. Unfortunately, the contractors seem to be the only people who can give an accurate read on the job, and they dont come out until youve signed a contract with a salesperson.To his credit, after the job our sales guy said, well make it right. Again, an over-promise. Their management declined to give us a discount on the botched job and said, the salesmen just try to make the sale. After weeks of pestering them I managed to get a few hundred dollars off.

    This is what the face and substance of Excellence looks like! We called them because of a concern about a drainage, sump pump issue. They were able to fit us in sooner because of a canceled appointment. Wyatt Zuk came out, assessed the situation, educated us about the system, offered us their product, but upon hearing our description he was able to identify the problem that did not require their full service. Amazing! He wasnt trying to sell us something. He was trying to figure out what we needed at our least cost. Its not often you run headlong into integrity, but its a thrill when you do.     We had our porch lifted recently. Unfortunately, communication on start day was last minute, the only problem was, we were supposed to cut down some bushes beforehand, and someone needed to be home. Upon arrival, our Foreman, Erik Welde took care of all of the bushes with no extra fee and took all the brush with him.After digging down alongside of the porch, they were able to tell that the original method they wanted to use would not work. It would be $4500.00 MORE! We were not ok with this and in discussing it with Erik, they came down to $2000.00. We struggle to understand what the 2 estimates were for?? They did not need to dig down very far to see what would or wouldnt work. We appreciate Erik being super knowledgeable and hard-working. He had a great team as well. They were friendly and cleaned up well after all was done.Work was completed over 10 days ago, but the Excavator remains in our front yard. They have been notified.We are leaving a 5 star rating because despite some wrinkles, our Foremen and his crew could not have been any better.Thank-you Erik!

    I am changing it to five stars because the company called me within the review and took care of putting on a sealant within a day. They also took care of another issue, I asked about in an email I sent 2-3 weeks ago.My review:The job was done. It was very very expensive. I was unable to get another company to come out and give me a bid but it sounds as though the cost is within the norm.It seems their push is on sales and getting on to the next job, Though as others have said they do it professionally. As long as everything goes as plan they are incredible, you have one hiccup and everything falls apart. Communication was the main issue. A comical example. The sales person did not tell them how small the hole was. That caused some confusion to get into the crawl space. They made some calls and go ti resolve. One of the crew members said being resourceful was part of the job such as figuring out how to make a drain work with the humidifier.We thought the sales person was going to help. This is where the communication issues came in. He was so busy with selling he did not have time to help when issues came up. It was usually the office person who was there for me and even she could not get the project manager superintendent to call back because he was so busy putting out proverbial fires.If it is not in the estimate, there could be a cost. We had to have a toilet moved out. They had to go to the salesman since he did not put it on the contract. It appears even pulling a toilet is a cost they itemize for. They did that for free. Make sure that everything the sale person says is what you agreed to. It is one long contract.They got done with the job when they redid the cement in May that they had to take up (about a month of mud but next door ladder put in some planks we could walk across). They leveled the extension in April and put in a floor beam in March..The leveling job was done well. How they were going to do it and how they did it did change, no difference in cost. We did move the stuff out of the way. They did end up have to have to do some manually but that was in the price and what they did manually changed. They also leveled the house a tiny bit, that was not in the price and up to that time, the first crew were sticklers for what they did, it had to be in the estimate. This crew was more flexible than those who did the crawl space. If they changed something they made sure I knew it. I had to ask for this t though I though that it was in the price. That was probably the most important part because extension was pulling the rest of the house down.The salesman did what I consider a high pressure sale by saying order today and only today you will get 10% off. He spent a lot of time going over everything. Still, he is foremost a sales person that is what he is being paid for, and he is really good at it.They had to take some cement out and they did come out and redid it, yes it was part of the estimate. They did one thing we asked to do that was not in the estimate though we did talk about it at the sales meeting. we bought a path gutter and they did incorporate into the cement, that has been a God send. They had to cover it due to potential rain (we supplied the tarp) and the tarp used made an incredible design on the cement.

    Where to begin, 2023 was hard for my family, we had some serious shake-ups. In the middle of it all we noticed our house had a crack in the foundation and some of the interior walls/seams were showing separation and compression. As a licensed engineer I was concerned and wanted to make sure we got it looked at as soon as possible. Patrick from Innovative came out, gave us a complete walkthrough, and explained what was happening in detail. Emily got us on their schedule to have Andrews crew come and repair the foundation. Of course with any job there are surprises/hidden problems that no one can predict, but Innovatives team was able to communicate with me the entirety of all the issues and come up with a plan of action that made sense. The real kicker was the speed and professionalism of the crew (Jaid, Nick, and Devon). They were not only fast, but did a phenomenal job of explaining their work and going the extra mile in making sure every detail was reviewed and addressed. I cant stress this enough; theyre a really great group of people to work with.

    We had a great experience working with Innovative Basement Authoority this past spring. We needed to waterproof crawl spaces and replace a subfloor above a crawl space in an old home we were moving into. Bryce Jacovetti came to our home before a big snowstorm and stayed for many hours preparing estimates that gave us multiple options. Bryce was extremely thorough looking over everything that needed to be done and gave many good ideas! Innovative Basement Authority was able to schedule the work very quickly and Cory Reiersons team of Andrew, Adam F., and Juan did a remarkable job! They were here all day and evening sealing crawl spaces, replacing support joists, and putting in the new subfloor. We appreciated that they were flexible in moving their workspace since we also had a moving company using the front walk; they even pitched in and helped move a very heavy piece of furniture! They stayed until everything was finished and cleaned up nicely. Cory, Andrew, Adam F., and Juan were all very professional, friendly, and efficient. The day the work was to be done, Austin T. and Aiden N. from the Innovative Basement Authority Rush City Office came to install vapor barriers and insulate the rim joists with spray foam in our crawl spaces. They text messaged the day before they were scheduled to come and called when they were on the way. They explained what they were going to do and showed us the products that they would use.     IBA did some concrete lifting (poly foam) on my garage apron and filled some voids under my garage. Both the sales process with Travis and the work itself with Isaiah and Chris went smoothly and professionally.I was impressed while getting quotes with their online scheduling and prompt communication (appointment reminder, email telling me what to expect, and a text when Travis was on the way). Travis took time to chat through the work I wanted completed plus gave some advice on preventative maintenance to prevent future issues in other areas around the house. Their pricing was within a few hundred dollars of other quotes I received for similar work.On the day I had the work completed, Isaiah and Chris took time to make sure I understood the work being completed and gave some suggestions for other work I could DIY to complement the work they did. They were also very transparent each step of the way. They did a great job leveling the garage apron and some sinking concrete in the garage. The holes they drilled were small, and they patched them promptly and cleaned up before they left.I would definitely recommend IBA to others!

    We feel like we got the A-team(s) with the crews that repaired our foundation. There were two crews Adam F., Colin and Brian started the job out. This crew installed all of the helical piers and worked with engineering to update plans due to specific circumstances with our foundation that hadnt been anticipated. Adam communicated every detail of the proposed changes to our satisfaction and made sure that we understood exactly what changes needed to be made and why. He also worked with the office to make sure engineering calculations were redone to reflect the needed adjustments. This crew was superb- kind, hard working, considerate, neat, on time, and easy to communicate with.A second crew came in the last part of the job to finish the push piers portion of the work. Colin returned from the first crew and Cory and Adam S. joined him. This crew was also exemplary. They again explained everything, worked, hard, were neat, kind and polite. IBS- with a shortage of workers -how did you get such great employees? They represent your company with excellence and alot of class!Ryan, their manager, also came to the worksite and kept in close communication with us to make sure that we understood and were satisfied with the changes and the work that was being accomplished by his crew. Ryan also worked very hard with the engineering company to have them update their documents to accurately reflect the changes that had been made from the original plans.     Edit to prev review: a mgr called me after my review and had a service tech out right away. Dave the service tech was great.I had a sump pump installed. Needed an electrician to complete the job. Trying to get them back out to get the pump running has been rediculous. Ive called over 20 times. I either never get someone to pick up or get transferred all over the place. At this point Ive paid over $7k for a pump that isnt running. It shouldnt be this difficult to contact service and get someone out. It was very easy to get the initial consult scheduled and get their salesman out here.
