    I have used this company several times in the past and I’ve always been happy. Yesterday Vinny and Lou came to my house to do some repairs and fixture change outs. Once again, I’m thoroughly pleased with the outcome of the job. Both technicians were courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. We have a bunch of cats and the technicians were allergic. That’s why the mask. And of course, one of my cats took a liking to this poor guy. LOL. But he didn’t let it bother him one bit. This company now has a customer for life.

    We upgraded to a new generator and upgraded our main circuit panel. Over-the-top installation. D&S sent a 4-person team (Mikey, Caelyn, Sam and Declan) for the job. Arrived promptly at 8:00AM and worked throughout the day, finishing at 6:00PM. The D&S team never fails. Quality workmanship. Done right the first time. Cant recommend this company enough. Call them now for ALL your electrical needs. My company of choice for 15+ years.

    Excellent work, very professional, very courteous. He (Brad) installed a Tesla level 2 home charger for my model 3. I was not at home and I probably made it a lot harder for him than needed (I threw away the box with cortical information about the device) but he figured it out!He also sent a text with his picture in advance to introduce himself which gave me peace of mind (had to go to work last minute, wife worked from home that day)

    Bobby and Caitlin (hope I spelled her name right) were great. Explained and priced stuff out before they did the work and did a great job adding a light switch to our dining room so we can turn the kitchen light on and off before and after we enter the room and putting an outside outlet for Christmas lights in the front of our house. They cleaned up the work area and worked quickly but did the job right. Thank you guys!!!

    Bobby and his assistant did an incredible job installing my chandelier. This was quite challenging as the ceiling is 14’ and there was no existing wiring for a light fixture. They were knowledgable and discussed all the options and approaches to this job before proceeding. I love the finished result.

    Had an electrical issue going on in my home. Called DS Home Services and Dave the owner came to my home within an hour of the call. He had his guy Brad here by early afternoon.     Have used DS Electric at least 8 times since July 2023 when we purchased a home much in need of love where the electrical system was concerned plus some additional work as we fix up the home to best meet our needs. My main electrician is Mac - I always request him because we hit it off from the start. He is a problem solver and honest about the best way to address a request. He has been assisted by Mike C. and Sam on a few occasions and they are also a fantastic representation of the company. Vinny came and assisted one day and was fast and highly knowledgeable. Everyone is timely, respectful and clean. The office is responsive and on top of all the details. Currently working with Gail who is lovely. Can’t recommend this company enough.

    I have not yet turned on and tested my new Generator to make sure its running fine, but I am hoping the unit works as well as the installation. The service by Mikey and his team was Top-Notch. The team was well organized, very professional and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed. From the moment he introduced himself to me, I knew I was in good hands. He explained everything to me in detail and answered all of my questions and then some. I particularly liked his friendliness and enthusiasm to get it done right. His assistants, Robin and Michael, were also impressive. Robin was patient with me while selecting power sources at the start then worked hard the rest of the day to stay ahead of Mikeys electrical connections. It was a well run operation. My only regret was that I was not prepared to offer them anything at the end of the day after working so hard. However, I hope these few words can make up for it.Great job Mikey, Robin and Michael!!👍🏾

    We have had DS Home Services over to our home a few times for both electrical as well as plumbing repairs. Each time the technicians have been knowledgeable, able to explain the needed repairs in plain language, and repaired the problems for an incredibly reasonable prices. I can personally state that Zach, Vinny, and Lou all do excellent work (as well as cleaning up after the work is done!!) and were very personable. DS Home Services will be our first call for all our home repairs in the future.

    The team performed a perfectly clean and professional installation of my Tesla Wall Charger. In addition, they were able to fix a totally different outlet on the spot for a very reasonable price.They verified in multiple ways that my charger was working 100%.Brad, the lead on the job, was very professional and kept the worksite perfectly clean in process.     Zach and the whole DS crew did a fantastic job. I replaced my old AC unit with an upgraded heat pump. They were knowledgeable and informative about the entire process. They left everything better than they found it and the clean up was spotless. I would recommend this company! In addition they are offering 18 months zero interest financing and we got a large tax credit for the upgrade. Thank you DS for a job well done!

    Ive been wanting ductless systems in my house for awhile and wasnt happy with some other companys that came to see what I wanted, DS Electric were friendly and knowledgeable when Frank came to give my estimate and understood what I wanted to do. They were able to give me exactly what I wanted within my budget and I couldnt be happier. Frank and Demetrius came today 03/27/23 and installed my new system and the process was so easy. They were professional and meticulous with their work. Everything was installed as cleanly as possible and Im more than satisfied with the job. I was so thrilled with their work that while they were here I had them give me a estimate on upgrading my main panel to the house with generator transfer switches and the price was great so I signed the contract for them to do that also. From now on DS Electric is the only company Im using when I need electrical or HVAC work.Update, I had them come back and do a generator for me also. So happy to have the peace of mind of power in any situation and having ds home services quality work and remote monitoring as well

    We needed to install a home charger for our recently purchased EV. Friends recommended DSHS who did a similar install for them. DSHS has been fantastic to work with throughout the process. The home office got us quickly scheduled even though they were fairly booked out. Communication through text was simple and efficient to send information and photos needed for them to evaluate the job. Their technician Brad was terrific. He arrived at our house when he said he would and reviewed the scope of the work with us. He provided a quote which we accepted on the spot and he completed the install. There was some settings troubleshooting with the manufacturer of the wall box and Brad stayed with us to make sure everything was operational before leaving. Overall a really great experience. Would highly recommend DSHS and would absolutely call them again for any electrical needs at our home.

    Amazing service and support from DS Home Services. I had a contractor at my house today that used a power tool and it sent a surge into my electrical panel. Only had electricity in half of my house. I called DS Home Services and they had Vinny the electrician at my house within an hour. I even received a text from Vinny telling me he was on his way. When he arrived he assured me that everything was going to be ok and he would get us up and running again. When he opened the panel to the box he realized that I needed to replace my service from the surge. I only had one leg of power coming in. Vinny worked is tail off in such hot and humid conditions. I’m a typical homeowner that kept bothering him and asking questions, and every time he was very knowledgeable and professional. This was a big job and DS Home Services sent over Mac to help Vinny so they could get home before dark! The two of them worked hand and hand and left my garage cleaner then they found it!     We had a new Bosch AC/Heat pump System installed. We cant give enough praise and compliments to Zach. He was such a skilled, knowledgeable and patient man. Zach was able and willing to answer our constant questions and will continue to do so while working through this new system from summer into winter.Zach and his crew dealt with very unmanageable circumstances dealing with the hot weather, the house itself, and some unfortunate issues regarding the system parts.This is the second project that we have used with DS Home Services, and Zach did not disappoint with this project.     DS Home Services and Andrew Sellers definitely goes the extra mile. They discovered my Bosch Heat Pump installed 2 years was not efficient and costing us more money in electric bills. $900 for one month. Zach figured it out. Andrew also realized the Heat pump and electric board were wired together when they installed the Comfort Air compressor. It works below 20 degrees and -5 degrees. The other Bosch worked at 30 degrees. Electric was running constantly instead of the heat pump. Andrew and his young partner ( great with my dogs too)were on time, clean , installed and explained all necessary to run and maintain the new unit. So satisfied and can say all our electric services have been done with care. Dave Stewart personally recommended his HVAC come to evaluate first and found our solution. We lost our furnace as back up with the install from another company. So pleased to know we are safe and DS HOME Services shows real genuine care.     Update to my previous review: Being very satisfied with the generator install done by DS, I recently (Jul23) had my whole house done with Mitsubishi A/C splits. I had 7 contractors quote the job and chose DS once again and have Zero regrets! I purchased 6-Mitsubishi Ceiling Casettes ( Did not like the Box -On-The-Wall look), but thats just me. BTW, anyone who tells you that they dont install ceiling cassettes because there have been issues with them, is being less than honest with you. The celing cassettes are not as easy to install and require a more skilled technician to do the job right. DS has a highly skilled team and their manager, Frank, will see to it that you are happy with the job.Unlike some of the other contractors who quoted my job, Frank was more interested in providing me with what I wanted and not trying to coax me into what was easiest for them. Totally professional team, skilled workers, very communicative ( always called to let you know when they would arrive, always responded to my calls or texts promptly), considerate and courteous. Dave Stewart, the owner, called to make sure that the job went well and to ensure that I was happy with the results. Truthfully, could not be happier and without hesitation give another 5-Stars, only because Frank and his team deserve it!Recently purchased and had installed a 22KW generator by DS Electric. Totally satisfied with my experience working with DS. Very professional, competitively priced, and a clean & professional installation. His install team could not have done more to ensure my satisfaction during the installation. I dont give out 5-Stars loosely, but Dave and his team at DS Electric truly EARNED it !

    DS Electric installed an all house generator which was an extensive project, and expensive.Pros: Professional, courteous, experienced team. They were able to accommodate us with a very tight deadline. The installers, Mikey and Christian could not have been better. Extremely considerate, patient, careful, neat, thorough. They explained each step of the installation process along the way. This was a 6-8 hour installation.Cons: the estimator did not initially mention we had the option of having our L.P. gas provider provide the gas line vs DS Electric provide the gas line. In his favor, though, we did tell him we wanted a tight turn-around time. It turns out we saved a considerable amount of money by having our L.P. gas provider provide the gas line.Altogether superior product (Generac), professionally installed, a capital improvement that should add value to our home, not to mention the safety and security of never running out of power and DS Electric did it right!

    Recently, I had the need for several electrical projects in my new house, including the installation of a few receptacles, both inside and out and installation of a combination camera/light security system. Beside all of the work mentioned, I needed to have my cable system reworked because whoever did the original installation did a very shabby job, very unprofessional.I was so glad I called on DS Electric who sent two of their electrical technicians who did a magnificent job . All that needed to be done was completed in a short amount of time and at a very reasonable cost. I very much appreciated their professionalism and knowledge which made it a very pleasant experience. When I am ready, I plan on having DS Electric install a new Generac back up generator.I would highly recommend DS Electric for any electrical work needed. It will be a great experience!

    Two years ago on Thanksgiving we lost power and unfortunately our oven is electric. It made for a memorable holiday and not in a good way. We seem to lose power every time the wind blows here and I had been wanting to install a standby generator for years. I finally took some action and contacted DS electric. Dave came right out for an estimate and what a tremendous guy. Dave and his crew are amazing! They installed a standby generator and did it flawlessly, despite the several changes that I threw at them. Cooking on Thanksgiving is never a worry anymore! Such a great company. Its rare to find someone that does very good work and has great customer service too. DS Electric does it all... I bet if I asked they wouldve cooked our Turkey too! There is no other choice... DS Electric is the best around!2023 update - DS came out and made sure our generator was up and running during the latest storm. We had an issue with the fuel and oil pressure and Declan had us up and running in no time!

The office staff was very helpful in getting final approval from town.I later called DS Electric with a serious electrical issue, a panel that burned out from a power surge and was unsafe to use.
