    Laird Landscaping installed a front sidewalk and built fences and gates between my house and the neighbor’s houses. They also repaired pavers in my driveway and re-ran a drainage line. They did a wonderful job! Started on time, finished on time, cleaned up the yard beautifully, and replaced all the damaged sod. The workmanship is fantastic;better than most I’ve seen around here. I’d highly recommend them!

    Vince with Laird Landscaping has been a pleasure to work with over the past few years. He listened well to our lengthy list of wants and incorporated all of them into an outstanding plan that delivered beyond our wildest dreams. He turned a blank backyard of grass into something that resembles a botanic garden and encourages our family to spend time outdoors- even in Texas heat! He knows his native plants well, has excellent design sense, and thinks about the long term maturity of a garden- the top reasons we chose his firm.The Laird crews also know to expertly prune, stake, and turn existing mulch when replenishing it. We get exclusively their help a couple times a year because of their quality work. They always find something “extra” to take care of when they visit and just do it (such as sculpting bushes or adjusting stakes as appropriate). We love that they take such excellent care of our garden. We appreciate their knowledgeable, responsible, and professional service. Highly recommend for design services, pergola construction, plant selection, hardscaping of all kinds, and ongoing maintenance.

    Laird Landscaping did the landscaping in my front and backyard. They did a phenomenal job with the rock work and I love the placing of each plant.     We started using Laird Landscaping 18 years ago for our previous home. Vince transformed both the front and back yards.When we moved into our current home 12 years ago, Vince had wonderful ideas that, once again, transformed the current front and back yards from plain to beautiful.The backyard in our current home had poor drainage. Rainwater would sit in deep puddles and kill the grass. Vince installed a drainage system that resolved the issue. We have never had standing water since.His crew always shows up on time and cleans up every time for 18 years.Vince also has done seasonal flowers each spring/fall for our previous and current homes.We highly recommend Laird Landscaping.

    I have been using Laird Landscaping since 2015 - through 2 houses. They are always professional and reliable. They answer my questions and suggest solutions when asked.     Laird Landscaping re-designed and re-built the front walk, back patio, and all associated front and back landscaping for our home in the Katy area. They do exceptional work, and we have been extremely pleased with the results. They listen to what you want, develop the design for your review, and then implement it. They also communicate in advance when they expect to start and the property access they will need. We think of them more as craftsmen than as landscapers. They fully understand that, during the course of their work, they may interfere with the homeowner’s daily home access. So at the end of each day, everything is cleaned up as much as practical and possible. And at the end of the job, the entire area is fully cleaned up, as if they were never there. Laird Landscaping is a highly professional organization, with highly skilled workers who know exactly what they are doing. We highly recommend them.

    We had Vince and his crew install a drainage system in preparation for hurricane season, and we had it tested almost immediately with Hurricane Beryl. We took a direct hit and had more than seven inches of rain. Even when we were in the eye wall of the storm we had no ponding in low spots. Superb job.

    My wife and I wanted an outdoor kitchen for years. It was just one of those things that kept getting put off. One day I ran into Trey at Laird Landscaping so I shared with him my dream of that outdoor kitchen. Instantly he started recommending things that had never crossed my mind and I actually got excited for the first time about doing such a project. I wanted a “simple” outdoor kitchen sink and Trey’s idea was this gorgeous farm sink. I remember thinking that I would never use such a thing but my wife loved the idea, so we went with it.Now I couldn’t be more thrilled! I use that thing EVERY SINGLE we cook outside!

    Laird Landscaping did a great job restoring our garden by removing weeds, planting new grass where needed, and cleaning all the plant beds.     We are very pleased with Laird Landscaping for the design and implementation of improvements to both our front and back yard. After meeting with us to hear what we wanted and making some suggestions, Mark created a detailed design along with a detailed cost. During implementation he met with us regularly to discuss progress and answer any questions. Fernando and his crew are skilled landscapers that brought the design to life. They showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up at the end of each day.

    When landscape designer Vince from Laird Landscaping came to my house I knew I wanted to use them for the construction of our new walkway. He had a different vision for the direction of the project than I had thought of and it has turned out beautifully. The demo crew was amazing and the stone mason is an artist in his craft. We look at the walkway from inside and smile and try to find reasons to walk down it because we love it so much and have had many compliments from neighbors. Vince was available by text at any time if we needed to communicate and he often texted me with the plans for each day. I am looking forward to using Laird when we are reading for plants to beautify our front yard even more!

    We are thrilled with the improvements to our landscaping. Mark was so easy to work with: he listened to what I wanted, came up with a proposal that met everything I requested, and followed through to make the ideas reality. Mark and his teams, including Jose, uncharacteristically for contractors, were on time and did what they said they were going to do when they said it would be done. They started each day at 8am, and left the work site clean and accessible each evening. Our neighbors are complimenting the pretty rock edged beds and landscape lighting, and we couldnt have asked for a better experience throughout the project.

    After having difficulty finding a landscape company that was reliable, I contacted Laird Landscaping and Mark Corley came to my house to develop a plan and give me an estimate on my backyard project, which consisted of removing old decks, a pergola, a fence, brick paving and a small lawn, and installing new ones, providing a drainage system and removing old landscaping and redesigning/planting new landscaping. During the course of the work, I also decided to have a sprinkler system, decorative lighting and a massive fountain installed. This was a considerable investment of time and money, but it was worth it. I have never seen people work so hard, even in the summer heat and rain! Everything was done professionally and precisely. The crew was always pleasant and considerate, and Mark was available every step of the way to make sure everything went smoothly. I you are committed to getting the best results for your home, I heartily recommend Laird Landscaping.

    I had some drainage issues in my backyard due to poor planning from our pool company. I contacted several companies to bid on the job to replace our drainage system (Pool back flow, gutter outlet, pool deck drains all connected to this drain line). Out of 3 companies that bid on our project...... Otis Laird came to our house and was thorough to explain what was needed and why. Otis included a drawing of catch basins needed as well as the reasons why we needed to change the system to smooth wall pipe. The other companies just gave us a bid to replace with corrugated pipe which would have caused the same issues that created our problem(crushed pipe and roots invading the entire system). The project took Laird landscaping 3 days to complete and I couldnt even tell that they dug a 50 ditch when they left. Everything was clean and the new drainage system is allowing us to enjoy our backyard again. They even managed to save the trees that they uprooted to do the work. If you have a landscape project call Laird landscaping. Great owner, great crew and great work ethic.

    Laird Landscaping finished landscaping my back yard recently – I would recommend them to anyone who has landscaping needs. We chose Laird Landscaping because:- We knew they had been in business since the early 1980’s, so they had stood the test of time and would not disappear.- They are local to our area so we are supporting a local business.- They are professionals in their field.But we got much more than we expected:- They worked with us in advance to create a design that we love.- They were so respectful of our wishes regarding use of chemicals and for choices of types of plants.- They kept in communication as the date approached to kick off the work.- They executed the work quickly and efficiently.We dealt primarily with Laird Landscaping’s manager, Mark Corley; he was fantastic! We now have the back yard that we have wanted for so long!

    We worked with Laird to redesign our backyard into a comfortable entertainment area. That included fixing some drainage issues, screening off the existing porch, building a new patio detached from the house, and landscaping to make it work together seamlessly. The Laird crew was HARDWORKING thru some very rainy days. Our puppy even grew accustomed to seeing them outside the windows. I would highly recommend Laird. They did a great job from the beginning with interpreting our vision into a design and then executing to fit within the HOA needs. They will continue to be our landscaper of choice.

    Laird built a new tongue-in-groove covered patio that extended off our existing garage and completely re-designed the landscape in our backyard (including new sprinkler system). Their work was transformative and looks incredible. Trey provided us with some great suggestions throughout the process, and did an outstanding job overseeing/executing the project, including making some last-minute additions to include two dozen or so stepping stones. All of Lairds people are polite, respectful and extremely professional. They left the yard in great shape every day ,and at the end of the project. Highly recommend using them. And wed call them back in a heartbeat to help us landscape other parts of our property.

    We were very happy with Laird Landscape. From the design to the installation, Mark Corley and his crew did a professional job on both front and back yards. They were not the lowest cost proposal, but we feel like we received good value for our money. The crews showed up promptly every day and cleaned up the work site at the end of each day.The work scope included removing existing beds, relocating some plants, installing new drainage system, new sod, new beds with mortared rock edging, and stepping stones. They also installed landscape lighting in the front of the house. Overall, we were very satisfied with the finished product.
