Jeremiah is a treasure! Gives me hope for the next generation! Came out Christmas weekend from Hotchkiss to Delta, CO to fix a blown fuse which turned out to be a simple fix, ie flipping a switch. Other companies wouldnt even come out on the weekend- if they did, the rate would be quadruple.Jeremiah is personable, efficient, competent-cares about people and not afraid of hard work. Educated me about space heaters and vacuum cleaners drawing too much amperage at the same time, even calculated specific amps for each appliance!! Will be using Merit Electric, Jeremiah if hes available, for all of our electric work going forward. 😀

Jeremiah and his crew are amazing. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and showed up right on time. I had an outlet added to my back deck and Dakota and Preston came in, did what I had requested, cleaned up and offered to help put my deck furniture back in place. Excellent customer service in addition to quality workmanship. I highly recommend Merit Electric!

Great contractor experience! Jeremiah was recommended to us by two other contractors. We called him at 4:00 in the afternoon. He offered to come right away. We said that wasnt necessary. He called and came by the next morning. Jeremiah and his assistant Tanner identified the problem quickly. He also suggested some other things we might do in the future. The bill was very reasonable. I wish more contractor experiences went this easy and this well. Really nice guys!

Jeremiah and his crew saved me from the cold! My pellet stove was broken and my plumber installed a mini split and asked me if my electrician was ready to come and hook it up. I had no idea I needed an electrician. She was not available for two weeks. My plumber called Jeremiah and his guys were there the next day to hook up my mini split!Jeremiah and his men were so courteous and professional and very helpful. After they hooked up my heat, they came back a few days later to upgrade my 1979 electrical panel! Now Im all set:)I give my highest recommendation for Merit Electric!!!

The staff at Merit Electric are so easy to work with from the first call to the office to estimates to getting the job done. They are professional, nice, on time and they clean up after themselves. They are also very reasonably priced. I have used Merit Electric three times now for installing new lighting, installing outlets and upgrading my electric panel and would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing service at Merit Electric! Jeremiah is kind, knowledgeable, and professional, and it was a pleasure to deal with a contractor with such integrity. Highly recommend!We’ve used Tiger Electric in the past and we were dramatically overcharged during an emergency. I’ll be using Merit Electric for all of our electrical needs from here on out. Jeremiah came by immediately on short notice and helped us troubleshoot our furnace, as well as providing us a very reasonable estimate for the upgrades we needed to get our house up to code. We couldn’t of been happier with the service! I’ll be sending everyone I know to these guys for any work they need done. My wife and I have been planning on moving for the last year, but Jeremiah was so nice and great to work with that he actually made us consider staying in Hotchkiss! Truly an amazing individual and an integrity driven business.

Great, honest, experienced, and reliable electrical contractor. After a bad experience with another electrical contractor, and had to find someone to come in and fix what they messed up. Ben with Merit came out and fixed everything, and we are very pleased with is work. He will be the only one I call if we need anything else done. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work.
