I can’t begin to express how impressed I am with Dawson Contracting. We have worked with several builders in the past, both in Fargo and in the lakes area. By far and away, Matt Dawson and the businesses he contracts with are the absolute BEST! In a matter of minutes after coming to our home to give us an estimate, Matt was energized with creative ideas and possibilities. Not only did we get a beautiful new kitchen and living space, but each of the businesses he works with gave us the best financial package they could. The final bill was quite a bit less than other estimates we received, plus we got much MORE done than we thought we could.Talk about organized and efficient! We’ve all heard nightmare building and remodeling stories, but that was NEVER the case with Dawson Contracting. Matt always let us know when projects were going to be done, when people were on their way and what time they would be here. Everyone was incredibly prompt, efficient and easy to have around. The entire project, demolishing to entertaining friends and family again, took 4 weeks. We have never experienced that kind of enthusiasm and efficiency with any other projects we have done.The quality and workmanship are AMAZING, second to none.I would highly recommend Dawson Contracting to anyone considering a new build or a remodel. You simply won’t find a better company!! -

We worked with Dawson Contracting on a remodel of our kitchen/dining room which involved lowering an island, knocking down walls, rs, new windows. This was a daunting project for us and we didnt know where to start.Dawson Contracting made the entire project easy and seamless from start to finish. Every detail was thought of, communication was top notch, and most of all we trusted them.Matt and the rest of the crew, as well as the companies they utilize for subcontracting, have been phenomenal. I would highly recommend them for any of your home projects! -

We highly recommend Matt, Joey and the Dawson Contracting team for any project you are considering! We had a backyard project they took over and we are so thankful they did! After having a couple bad experiences with some contractors we had work and bid the project, Matt and Joey picked up the pieces and were great from start to finish! While they inherited some issues with subs, they still were so great at working it out and making sure the project ran smoothly! One thing I appreciated the most was how great they were at communication! If you are looking for a contractor in this area, you will be thankful you hired Dawson! -

Dawson Contracting was AMAZING to work with! We needed to update our kitchen, and decided to remove a wall. The major issue was that we had very limited time to be out of our house since I run a daycare. In a week and a half, the cabinets, countertops, and floors were done!!!! We received high-quality products, with such a quick turnaround, and we couldnt be happier with the result! You wont regret working with Dawson Contracting!!! Matt & Joey have the experience, knowledge, and work ethic to do a great job. -

Matt, Joey and the Dawson team were fantastic! We had them completely remodel our kitchen and living room. Communication from start to finish was top notch. They had all their work and vendors lined up and in perfect order. There was never any off day as they transitioned from demo, cupboards, plumbing, flooring and painting. It made for a great experience and over a year later we continue to love the remodel. -

Matt and Joey and the rest of the Dawson Contracting team coordinated a project in our home to remodel a laundry/mudroom and pantry. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out, they took our somewhat scattered ideas of what we wanted, and built exactly what we had in mind. These spaces are now much more functional and better fit the needs of our family.The communication throughout the project was great, and all the subcontractors they had come in on the project were top notch and extremely professional.We will 100% use Dawson Contracting again for future home improvement and remodeling projects. We would highly recommend this team to anyone in need of this kind of work! -

What a wonderful experience working with Joey & Matt Dawson! The team they have put together to do all the aspects of a kitchen/1st floor remodel was outstanding! They said 3-4 weeks & I could be cooking again which I really didnt believe but THEY DID IT! I wanted a cleaner kitchen & they came thru! Communication was really good & straight forward. Highly recommend these brothers! -

Best contractors we’ve ever worked with!!!! Dawson Contracting completed a total remodel of the main and 2nd floors of our home. The project included taking the interior down to the studs with only the original hardwood floors remaining. We moved walls, added a master bathroom, replaced a staircase, replaced all the windows, and revamped the entire exterior of our home. Throughout this process, Matt and Joey kept us updated with consistent communication. They seamlessly guided us through the process assisting with window and door selection, cabinetry, bathroom fixtures, tile, counter tops, etc. Their input was invaluable. The subcontractors hired were top notch. We are incredibly happy with our remodeled home and our decision to use Dawson Contracting. They went above and beyond at every opportunity and exceeded our expectations. 5 stars and would highly recommend!
