    I had a great experience after an unfortunate power surge blew a bunch of outlets and breakers. Matt called me back after hours. Came to my house the next day to determine the damage and repairs needed. He was very straightforward and honest about recommendations for upgrades as well as what would be required immediately. They installed a search protector for my main circuit breaker as well as some outlets and lighting in our garage. Very happy with their professionalism and great communication. fair price as well highly recommend.

    I recently moved to St. Louis Park and needed some electrical work done. I read the Google reviews and decided to give Damyans a call. I was super impressed with how fast I was able to book an appointment and the superior service Johnny provided.     Taven did great work. He completed a review of my home and offered services with clear pricing. He did not push for anything, but let me know his recommendations. The work he completed was a perfect example of why I like having someone knowledgeable complete the work. Im reasonably handy when things go smoothly, but often struggle when things dont match up with my experience or look like or work as well as they do in Youtube videos. This would have been one of those times as there was unexpected pre-existing damage to an outlet he was replacing. I highly recommend Damyans Electric and will use them again.

    The electrical inspector for St. Louis Park was here this morning to inspect our new electrical mast outside and circuit breaker panel in the basement. He told me that everything looks great and is all up to code now. We had some significant issues with water in our electrical panel, but Damyans took care of it for us. They were just super great to work with, so nice, prompt, and reliable. I am very relieved and pleased that we were able to get that major problem taken care of. Thanks so much for the great work!

    Johnny came out did a through investigation of our house. Made some recommendations then helped us pick what was needed & fit our budget. Went right to work finish all the work same day (very hot day by the way) always a smile & made sure we understood all the installations.     Had storm damage to our service meter and Damyans was the only local company that was able to send somebody out the next day. They worked with Xcel and provided everything needed for insurance. They offered upgrades but werent pushy about them. Johnny was great and did quick, quality work. Easy callback if we have any electrical work in the future.

    I needed to have my Ring Doorbell be electrified so that I didnt have to charge it all the time. Johnny from Damians came today and did an excellent job for me.     I am very pleased with my first experience with Damyans Electric.The electrician, Johnny, came today. He called ahead of time and was very prompt. He gave me an estimate to update all the lights in our lower level. He switched it out from fluorescent to LED. Johnny explained everything that needed to be done and agreed to complete it today since we had no lighting working in the lower level. Johnny was very professional, kind, and did a good job explaining everything prior to starting the work. He also got rid of all our old fluorescent bulbs (recycled). I am grateful for a great job and now have an electric company to call on in the future.

    We had some electrical work we wanted done in our home, so I had 3 different companies come out to give us bids. Damyans Electric was the last of the 3 to come through our home, and we were so impressed that we signed up with them before he left. Taven came in and not only thoroughly explained to me what he was looking at and why, but also things that might be of concern and what they would need to look into to make sure everything was being done correctly and up to code. He treated both me and my home respectfully and as if it was his own home, so I knew we were in good hands! Damyans also offered a complimentary evaluation of the electrical work throughout our home, which was so nice as new homeowners to an older home to get a good sense of what work we should do in the future and know whether or not there were any immediate concerns. We ended up having to replace our electrical panel and Taven thoroughly talked us our options and told us what he thought would be best for our lifestyle, but never pressured us to take any option. Both days that Taven and his co-worker came out went very smoothly, everything was installed nicely, and they cleaned everything up nicely. Im BEYOND happy with the work they did, and have already recommended them to multiple people! Obviously, I highly recommend but Damyans Electric and Taven specifically.     I am very pleased with the work performed by Matt and Andre.They were professional, polite and educated me on potential electrical issues in my 47 year old home.They offered to do a complete electrical home safety check.I learned that after replacing the main waterline to my home in October, I no longer had Electrical grounding!The project I was hiring them for was adding a safety light above my garage door. See photo.In addition to doing that project, they were able to properly ground my electrical box. Very grateful that they identified this hazardous issue! Quality work, and I trust their expertise.     This is the second time we’ve used Damyan’s for some work that needed a good eye for detail, that required removal of wall and floor boards, holes being drilled and TV mounts done and they did an excellent job on all of it.     Damyans was great to work with. I had an issue with a washer/dryer installation and needed an electrician out to get the job done.     I recently used Damyans to install a new EV charger in my garage. Was very impressed by the thorough review of the options, friendly service, and then what seems like a quality install. I had a long run from my panel through a finished basement, then a somewhat inaccessible run to the garage. They were able to do this without cutting up my ceiling and also installed a new meter box within a couple hours! Will definitely use them again if I need something done.

    We hired Damyans to install new fixtures in the basement and upstairs, a motion detector in the backyard, and repair an old fixture in the laundry room. I was very impressed that Damyans sent an electrician the day after my call. John came to the house on a Thursday, reviewed the proposed work, prepared a very reasonable quote, and completed the job the following Tuesday. John worked skillfully and efficiently, seeking our input as needed and patiently explaining problems encountered and his solutions.     The five star reviews are warranted. We had most of our house re-wired — a huge and difficult job. Jony was the main electrician, and he worked with a few different coworkers throughout the entire 2.5 week job. Everyone, and Jony especially, was super skilled and communicative. There were many instances where the path of least resistance would have been to punch a hole in the drywall, but Jony went the extra mile to route wires in ways that would preserve the drywall. Going into the project, I had braced myself for having to repair a couple dozen holes, but it ended up being only six. Jony also installed child-proof outlets, moved some switches to more sensible locations, installed two bathroom fans, and added a few new circuits. The best part of all is that I’m confident now that my house won’t burn down now that the disintegrating cloth wrapped wire is out and everything is up to code.

    Edit: Immediately following (within a day) of having a miscommunication with a call center employee regarding having Damyans revise some work they did in the past, I was contacted by a manager who immediately sought to right the issue. Within a week Matt came out to the house to fix it and was extremely professional, reasonable and effective in his work. Matt quickly got to the bottom of the issue at no cost to me. I was impressed with the genuine care for customer satisfaction and concern with ensuring that any wrong done was immediately addressed. I will certainly look to Damyans for my future electrical projects.I had some recessed lighting put in from Damyans in 2021. Now, I recently noticed that my porch light no longer works and found that they simply cut it out of the circuit during the work in 2021. I called to inform them and ask them to remedy this issue and they told me I would incur a 79$ service fee for them to simply check to see if they would be willing to fix it.

    Vova and his team did incredibly thorough and thoughtful work rewiring our entire home, moving our electrical panel, installing outdoor lights, and much more. They worked long days on several occasions and went above and beyond when encountering the unique challenges of our old house.     We had a chandelier and dimmer switch replaced. We supplied the chandelier and they provided the dimmer switch. The chandelier was high up and required the electrician to stand on a regular 8 foot ladder. The installer was on time, professional and did a very good job. It took a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes, start to finish. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the cost, which was $661! Allowing $26 for the cost of the switch (which was not itemized), then the labor was about $636, which comes out to a rate of about $363 per hour.

    I called around to several electricians for my project. I found Damyans to be the most responsive, courteous, professional, and timely with excellent customer service! They were able to fit my project in very quickly, including coming out to do the wiring and then returning to install the actual light fixtures when ready. He cleaned up the work area very nicely when he was finished both times. He also made sure to save me a nicely cut out piece of the drywall so I could go in and get a paint match.     Johnny and team were amazing in replacing all outdated wiring from our 100+ year old home.     Jony and Kevin did a great job! Our house is nearly 100 years old and a lot of the wiring and outlets are original. They replaced some old outlets, changed some breakers, and placed some grounding rods (along with some other much needed things) and they all look seamless!     Damyans did the electrical portion of our kitchen remodel as well as adding new ceiling lights in the living room. We also asked a favor to repair an old broken outlet that was wired behind brick. These guys worked magic pulling lines and getting things done. All new outlets, undercabinet lights, ceiling lights, chandelier, garbage disposal, dishwasher, range hood, new circuits. Lots of great work. We only had one issue with the LED driver on the AFCI circuits and they continued to work on it and troubleshoot it until it was fixed even though the inspection had already passed. All the employees were very professional and personable and they did a great job cleaning up the work site when complete with each task. Highly Recommend. Any electrical work i need in the future this is the first call I will make.

    I called Damyans after I installed recessed lighting in my family room, but the pre existing wire didnt work. I needed a professional, and I needed them quickly. From the moment I called, I knew I had the right place. The lady who answered my call was so kind. They were unable to get me in same day, and I was on a time crunch due to being on paternity leave. They called back less than an hour later to let me know they could come the next day! Ryan came out to the house, very friendly, that next day, we walked through what I needed done. I let them know I needed it done before I went back to work so my wife didnt have to deal with it. They moved around their schedule to accommodate to come out that Monday (this was a Friday) to do the job. They have straight forward pricing, and to be honest, Im not sure if I paid a fair amount of not but it didnt matter because I was treated amazingly from these people. On that Monday, Matt came to my place with his brother Johnny and got the job done in less than 4 hours (they thought this was an all day job). Everything was done to a tee. On top of that, they even cleaned my ceiling fan!Overall, amazing experience. My first phone call was Thursday and the job was done Monday before noon. Highly recommend. Thank you!

    I was quoted a lower price by a competitor, but Damyans wanted my business and went above and beyond by not only price-matching the competitors price, they gave me a 10% discount on top of it! I was totally not expecting that and was so pleasantly surprised. They said that my electrical wiring in its current state was not safe and they wanted to fix it for me. These people care about their customers, they are not in it just for the money and its hard to find people much less a company nowadays that is willing to take less money just so they can earn your business and ensure your familys safety.     We had a great experience with our electrician Houston. He had a tough job rewiring a portion of our 1930s house, which involved ripping crumbling wires out of sheet rock while making the fewest holes possible. He was able to fix all the issues and trouble shoot to get things done in the least disruptive way. He quoted us a fair price and went above and beyond to get the job done quickly. He always cleaned up the house before going home each day. On top of it all he is very pleasant, funny and was good with my kids who always seemed to be hanging around!     TLDR More Additional Work:Damyans came out because the breaker for my kitchen outlet circuit was tripping. This started occurring on the Sunday before memorial day May 30th and they were booked out until June 14th. They were able to get Ryan out by June 2nd and quickly resolved the issue.Last year I had Damyans replace my electrical panel and redevice my whole house. Everything had been working great up until May 30th, when my kitchen circuit breaker was tripping. I called Daymans and unfortunately with it being a long holiday weekend, no one was available to address the issue. I was honestly pretty upset and was not exactly my best self with Rachel, the on call person. She did her best to help me and set up the earliest possible appointment available, all while being courteous and professional despite my attitude. In case Rachel ends up reading this, I greatly appreciate your kindness and apologize for my attitude.In the interim I called several other electricians, but no one was available due to the holiday weekend. Luckily I was able to get the fridge plugged in on another circuit and come Tuesday morning I got a call from Michelle telling me Ryan could be out on June 2nd. Ryan arrived and evaluated the situation. He replaced the breaker at no charge to me as he suspected the current one had become faulty since the panel install from the previous year.Things have been working well since. I continue to appreciate the quality of work and customer service Daymans provides and will be continuing to treat them as my go to electrician.TL:DR Additional WorkDamyans once again performed great work. Their response time was excellent and I feel safer in my home after all the work.Another great experience. I called and Ryan came out to my house quickly. The issue I was experiencing was light flickering while running the microwave. Turns out the 14 amp microwave was on the same 15 amp circuit for the rest of the kitchen lights. Ryan went through and diagnosed the issue as well as several other safety issues.Over the next 6 days we had the 50 year old panel replaced with a new one that had both AFCI and whole home surge protection, two new circuits put in, wiring in the garage fixed, a whole home redevice (new switches and outlets), and new smoke detectors to top it off.What Johnny, the electrician who did most of the work, found during the job was alarming. Everything from improper grounds to outlets that were literally not grounded at all. The job was not short and it certainly didnt seem easy. At one point one of the circuits for the kitchen went out after the days work was finished. Johnny came back out and quickly fixed this issue, which was a bad breaker.Everyone who worked on my house was respectful, and made sure to ask before entering rooms which I had closed off to keep the cats from causing issues. They cleaned up the house well, and were very friendly.I hope I never have an electrical job that big again, but if I do Damyans is going to be my go to.TL:DR Damyans was quick to get an electrician out here and he was friendly, knew what he was doing, got it done fast, and stuck around to make sure that everything was working .Great experience! I had Center Point come out for an AC tune up since it wasnt blowing cold. Turns out a mouse had some how ruined the AC disconnect.I called Damyans and spoke with Erin who got me hooked up with a same day appointment .Houston showed up around 1:45 and got to work immediately. Houston was friendly and helpful. He opened the disconnect and showed me the problem which was that a mouse had chewed through an outgoing wire to the AC. Houston sat down, explained the plan and the price, which seemed right in line with what expectations, and went right to work.He was all finished around 2:20 and my AC was working again. He made sure to stick around to make sure the condenser was turning on and that the air was blowing cold.Im really happy with the service I received and definitely plan on asking for Houston by name in the future!

A yahoo we moved into a new house and as we were unpacking on a Saturday night at 9 pm I smelled burning wires and then there was a pop so we did a search online and called these guys.     Damyans Electric is a very respectable, honest, trustworthy company. Along with that, you will find them taking the extra steps to leave your place looking like they were never there.Vova and Dimitri were at my house for 4 days replacing every electrical connection and pulling some new wires to bring my home up to code. The left my panel upgraded and surge protected. I now feel much safer to run the laundry while cooking in the kitchen at the same time.They went above to make sure all fixtures were working correctly too! I will hands down call them for any additional electrical needs.The office staff was just as friendly and courteous. Thelma and Rebecca helped schedule the work and the city inspection.Thank you Daymans Electric!
