Recently, my wife and I moved into our newly constructed house in Munhall. We ordered a brand new dryer which, when plugged in, kept tripping the breaker. This was surprising since it was identical to our previous dryer. I expressed my suspicion that the problem was with the power plug, but the delivery guys and my wife thought it could be an issue with the wiring or the breaker. Rather than waste money on a new breaker, I decided to call Mooney Brothers Electricians. Ernest came out and conducted a diagnostic on our wiring and breaker box. Both he and the electric company confirmed that everything was in great shape. It turned out that the power cord had been incorrectly installed by the non-expert delivery guys, who had merely followed the instructions without understanding the significance of the wires they were working with. Had there been a problem with my breaker box, we could have been at risk of a house fire. Thanks to Ernests professional expertise, the issue was correctly identified and resolved, and he also shared some valuable tips on how to keep our house safer from potential electrical problems. I am certainly planning to use Mooney Brothers Electricians for any future electrical issues. Id also like to appreciate Nathan, who was my first point of contact with the company. Even though I was frustrated, he managed to calm me down and ensured that they would send someone out the very next day. And a special thanks to Harold, our electrician, who arrived earlier than the scheduled appointment time, quickly found and fixed the issue, and was an overall pleasant person to work with. The team at Mooney Brothers Electricians is truly exceptional. We required the installation of exhaust fans in two bathrooms of an existing structure. The task involved cutting into ceilings, running vent pipes through confined spaces and the attic, and even cutting holes for vents in exterior walls. Wayne, Conner, and Dillon made the units and vents appear as if theyve been there since the construction of the building. We also needed smoke and CO2 detectors for our home. They fitted a wireless system that will provide us with the highest level of safety. The team really has a deep understanding of their work, and theyre a pleasure to work with. They even did an excellent job tidying up after completion! I cant recommend these electricians highly enough!

Reviews like these arent something I write frequently. Im usually apprehensive that my single positive experience is the only one the electrician has ever provided. However, this was not the case with this electrical service provider. Ive availed their services multiple times, and each time, from the initial call to the completion of the job, their service has been exceptional. My first interaction with them was for a simple task of relocating some kitchen lights. They arrived promptly, finished the task efficiently, and the cleanliness of their work exceeded my expectations. The next incident was a power outage. I made a call to them, and in no time, they were at my doorstep in Munhall with a rental generator, saving all my refrigerated food! Their team suggested an external generator connector to my fuse panel and a generator, to which I agreed. The installation was a success. The proof of this was when I had to use it for a continuous span of three days recently. My entire house was fully functional, and I was even able to run a few extension cords to my neighbors. Details: Mooney Brothers Electricians were tasked with installing a 240V connection for our stacked washer/ gas dryer that needed replacement. A guy named nathan picked up the call immediately, promising same-day service. Harold, the electrician, arrived, conducted an inspection, and gave me a quote. It was slightly pricier than anticipated, but the task was more extensive than I initially thought. After they wrapped up their work, it became clear that it was impossible to disassemble the old washer/dryer - the space was simply too cramped (it seems the door frames were installed after the appliances). Considering the delivery team for the new appliance wouldnt have many tools and wouldnt be equipped to dismantle the old unit, our electrician, conner, took matters into his own hands. He sawed the old dryer apart and removed it piece by piece! Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty...

I explained to Dillon the problem I was having with my circuit breaker tripping due to my peloton in the garage. He quickly identified the need for a new, dedicated outlet for the peloton. He suggested a great spot for the new outlet, ensuring no need for any drywall repairs. I mentioned to Dillon that Id never seen a new outlet installed and expressed interest in observing the process. He happily kept me in the loop with every step. They ensured that the newly installed outlet was able to support the peloton during its calibration process before leaving. The whole process was incredibly swift. We experienced a serious electrical complication at our place of worship. our usual electricians informed us it would be a wait of three months before they could inspect the problem. thats when we reached out to mooney brothers electricians. ernest arrived promptly to assess the situation. while he was examining the issue, a large spark, over a foot long, erupted from the box. ernest calmly moved away and wisely advised, thats why you never stand in front of a box when you open it. immediately, he contacted the power company for an emergency disconnect. they arrived promptly and completely disconnected the power. ernest swiftly determined the necessary solution for the problem, compiled a list of required parts, and provided us with a quote. after we approved the quote, he contacted his suppliers for the needed parts. they had to travel a distance to obtain the panels he required. by the end of it all, power was disconnected on one day and fully restored before lunch two days later. both ernest and his assistant, nathan, deserve commendation for their diligence and hard work in getting our building back to normal. if you ever encounter an electrical problem, i highly recommend reaching out to mooney brothers electricians. rest assured, they will be my first choice for any future electrical needs.
