    We have used HPM Craftsmen for two major renovation projects -a fully remodeled kitchen (see before photo cabinets and two post-renovation photos) and a beautiful, fully renovated basement. Nicky Apap communicated with us every step of the way and Brian Mack is our go to guy whenever we have a project. He always has great tips and suggestions to make sure the project will go as planned. We have always been extremely pleased with the skilled craftsmen they have sent to our jobs. We used them a third time to remove some filler panels in the kitchen so we could have a larger refrigerator installed. We received another professional job from them today and our installer made sure the walls were all set for the new refrigerator getting delivered tomorrow. We would not hesitate to hire them again when we have another home renovation project.

    I recently had my guest bathroom renovated by HPM and all I can say is WOW. Chris and the team arrived on time and when they left you wouldnt know they were there. Chris is a perfectionist and his work shows this. Nicky was very involved and got back to me immediately with any questions I had.I would recommend HPM as they are the ultimate professionals from start to finish. I am so happy with their work I plan on having them back to renovate my master bathroom.

    We had a wonderful experience with them. From the estimate to the final steps - the quality of the work is phenomenal!!! The owner - Nicky - came personally on the first and last day to make sure everything is going smoothly, addressing every little detail/request - not going to see this every day - we absolutely loved it! It was a pleasure to come home to pretty much new home just in few days! After the work was done - it looked like it was never a crazy construction going on at all (we had to have temporary walls put up, while removing the wall and securing the roofing).Highly recommend this crew!

    We are very pleased with the work HPM Craftsmen did on our new deck. Nicky and Brian was so professional from our introduction All the way through the final project. Lada and the rest of the HPM Crew who did the actual work was very respectful of our property, they answered all of our questions and was very patient. They replaced my wood deck with the new Composite material, so it is easier for us to maintain (see attached photos). We cant wait to decorate it and get it Summer ready so we can enjoy it with our family and friends.     HPM began a major renovation of our property as the pandemic was wrapping up and it was very difficult to get projects underway. They proceeded very deliberately and professionally and kept me informed throughout. I also appreciate the fact that they had support staff that was always accessible to answer questions or assist. The finished product is top notch and I appreciated the cleanup that was done at the site before they left.

    We had the best experience with HPM Craftsmen. First, we had Brian helping us put our ideas together. He was always available to answer any questions about the project like the pricing or materials needed. Second, we had Nicky making sure the project got done around our schedule and she emailed us with any openings. Lastly, we had Cesar and his team, they are very professional and knowledgeable.     We have worked with the HPM team on a few projects over the last few years and have enjoyed every part of the process. Starting from the beginning with Nicky you will have incredible levels of communication but she goes above and beyond to really understand what you are trying to do, really helps walk you through the process and bring options to the table, and when surprises appear (as they always do in this kind of work) she can bring thoughtful and detailed options to the table that are in the spirit of what you are trying to do.In addition this level of thoughtfulness extends to everybody on the team. I have never had a single person from HPM just show up and start working, they always want to make sure before they do anything that they understand the nuances of what you want, and are always open to adjusting the plan on the fly if you need or want to. They do great work and are very detail oriented, I never feel like I need to hover or micromanage them, if something is unclear or there are different ways something could be done, they will always stop and ask instead of making random choices as many contractors will do.Beyond doing great work, they are good people, and you can trust them which is everything for somebody working on your home.

    When HPM Craftsmen was recommended for our roof repair we booked them right away. It’s not often you find a vendor that you can trust. The HPM back-office staff explained the services in detail before booking and followed up until the day of service. The service team arrived on time, they were professional, and they explained the findings and what was needed to get the job done. HPM also explained the length of time it would take before I needed to see them again.     Fantastic experience! I am very impressed by the services from HPM Craftsmen. They have installed 4 6x6 posts to put a very large shade over my my pool and we needed the posts to be installed on a very specific location given the shape of the pool and position of the sun. Nicky, the owner, has been incredibly patient and professional. She has guided us along the way to produce the best outcome for our project. The staff that came in to perform the job was amazing. Luis is extreme knowledgeable and polite. They were punctual and executed the job flawlessly.Overall I am extremely pleased and could not have asked for a better job to be done. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone that needs work done and will be using them in the future.

    HPM helped me renovate my two bathrooms and as they were one of the most diligent and communicative teams I’ve worked with in the last 9 years as a designer. They send daily progress reports which just goes to show their transparency. Our lead craftsmen went above and beyond to address all of ocd requests with tile layouts.If you have any reservations from one of the previous reviewers commenting dust being pervasive, yes the dust does inevitably travel but our team did do their best to mitigate the dust with a plastic partition wall, an exhaust fan, and regular vacuuming. This was one of the cleaner jobsites I’ve been on.

    I found out about HPM craftsmen through my architect who had just finished a project with her. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. They recently gave me a brand new deck with trex and pressure treated railings. They were on time, very professional and included me in the decisions every step of the way. Once my old deck was off, I had a lot of rotten wood and Brian made sure I was taken care of and everything was fixed. I also had my floors replaced and they did wonderful. Brian was very responsive throughout the whole process. Nicky was also very responsive and she has a good team. Would use them again for future projects!

    We have had other contractors disappoint us with poor workmanship, ridiculous change orders and failures to meet agreed schedule dates. HPM was a little more expensive, but the workmanship was fantastic, the communication excellent and the work was completed on time.We would not hesitate to recommend HPM to our family and friends.

    We bought a house with character in Putnam County in February. It was built in 1900, so we knew wed need to do some updating. HPM Craftsmen made all the difference. They rapidly and professionally replaced the roof, installed new gutters, shored up the foundation, and painted our barn a glorious classic red. We love our new home, and so appreciate the HPM teams high quality work. Also appreciated the straightforward business-like approach. We are looking forward to continuing to contract with HPM to remodel the kitchen.

    My husband and I enthusiastically recommend HPM to anyone looking for good craftsmanship at reasonable prices. Over the years, they have performed many jobs for us that my husband (a master carpenter) could not perform alone. These jobs included framing for a front porch and mudroom extension, installation of Hardie plank, and installation of a metal roof. Most recently, HPM remodeled our deck with Trex which gave it a tremendous facelight. The work is beautiful and we could not be more pleased. Additionally, all of the employees are friendly, courteous, responsive, and sensitive to the many needs of their clients, which are rare traits (unfortunately) in the construction industry.

    HPM did a full renovation of our unfinished basement, including framing, insulation, sheet rocking, flooring and painting. They provided a reasonable estimate and stuck to it. The work was done in a highly professional manner and they communicated extensively throughout the project. They also coordinated well with our electrician and HVAC contractors. We are extremely pleased with the final result. Nicky, Brian and Mark all contributed to the project and we highly recommend them.

    This past Saturday I had the HP Craftsmen Team do some bathroom renovation for us. Nicky ordered all fixtures, picked up and delivered as well as arranged for a Saturday installation appointment that met our schedule. Upon completion, the Team removed and took away all old fixtures. The job was completed in timely fashion. This was my second successful experience with HP Craftsmen. SInce then I have recommended them to my family and friends. For all your home improvement needs why look any further.
