    Downey’s painting did a great job painting my existing cabinets from brown wood to bright white. It completely transformed the space and made it look bright and new. They communicated well, were on time, and did the job quickly. I would use them again and recommend them!

    Jon and his team did a great job in covering up old wallpaper and painting over it it looks beautiful. They worked hard to cover areas that needed several coats of paint. They did a great job with the trim around the doors. They had great attention to detail and cleaning up after the job was done. They painted the interior of our whole house and worked tirelessly to get it done in the time frame they said they were going to do it. I would highly recommend Downeys painting.

    These guys are extremely professional, knowledgeable and do an amazing job. Everything was done on time for the timeframe I was given and the walls, trim, doors, everything is beautiful. Jon and his team are highly recommended!They also repaired a LOT of drywall damage in the house we bought before they started painting and their knowledge and skills made it so that I dont even notice where the damage was beforehand! I cant stop sharing to friends and family how amazing the walls look!

    I hired Downey’s Painting to stain my deck. After I called Jon he came out promptly and gave me an estimate. Partway through the project I realized the stain color I choose looked very different than the color card. Jon immediately took action to fix the problem and never made me feel like it was an inconvenience. Jon was always very professional and the finished project looks great! I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to my friends and family!

    I am very happy with John Downey Painting. When I hire out work from a professional, my expectation is that I am getting quality work better than I could do myself and that’s exactly what I received from John Downey Painting. John is professional, polite and particular about his work. My front door had some very visible fading from the sun that made it look uneven and I wanted it to be stained to match my shutters. John listened to what I wanted and got the job done. I chose a custom made stain color from Sherwin Williams and with some corrective techniques, John was able to stain and seal the front door where the sun fading is no longer visible. He did an amazing job!

    Jon is very professional and very prompt! Him and his crew can make anything look flawless and perfect. They are on time, they get the job done, they clean up like nothing was ever done! Also very knowledgeable in their product and answer any questions without hesitation!     Exceeded our expectations!! We had a door that needed refinishing, he brought it back to life the door looks new. We also challenged him with a metal door we wanted to look like wood , WOW it looks great. Jon doesnt stop until the job is completed and you a happy with the product. Cant say enough about his work ethic hard to find these days. We will be using him again .

    Hiring Downey Painting was the Best thing I could have done. Downey Painting was able to come into my home and get it ready to go on The Market in just 5 days. I was astonished when I came into my home. I was ready to move back in. Some of my rooms were painted dark chocolate raspberry and he was able to completely cover that with a silver gray color I am amazed at the work that this company dId. He was on site every day and ready to work. He was very educated on the colors and what would look good. Thank you Jon Downey for all the hard work and excellent results.     Honestly, I didnt have high hopes - weve been let down by contractors far too many times since moving to the area. That stated, this experience far exceeded those hopes!They were responsive, on time, and he slid my smaller job in quickly! When they arrived, they were professional and they made sure to stick around long enough to make sure the paint blended appropriately, since they were finishing areas that had already been started.We have several more jobs that well have throughout our house and well definitely be calling them again!

    Jon was very informative and did a very professional job painting our home. We did have issues with the Lowe’s brand Valspar Duramax paint however this had nothing to do with his work. We are talking to Lowe’s Valspar rep and hope they figure this out. Thanks Jon Downey for helping us finish our painting. Just saying it may be a good idea to choose another brand of paint besides the Valspar Duramax flat exterior paint.
