I decided to go with Michigan Handyman because of their knowledge in dealing with insurance claims, and I’m so glad I did!     I cant give a higher rating because they came out to clean my gutters 5 weeks later than they originally said they would. I had to contact them twice before they finally made it out to my house. However, they do a very good job of cleaning out the gutters. All the debris is put into a bag and placed out by the street. Im glad they came on Wednesday because our garbage pick up is on Thursday this week.

    Kevin came out to clean my house and garage gutters last week. He called before he came (a big plus for me). He was professional, friendly, Knowledgeable and courteous. I was missing two pieces of my gutter guard and he even offered to come back and replace them. I highly recommend him and would definitely use him for any future work I need done.

    I needed repairs on my garage roof due to any and water damage. Steve came out and did an amazing job replacing all the rotten wood and re-shingled that entire side of the garage roof to match the old shingles. He also painted the whole thing. It looks like there was no issue at all now. It only too 2 days and he cleared up everything after he was done.

    I highly recommend Michigans Handyman. I could not be happier with my bathroom renovation. Bob was friendly, professional and great to work with. He took extra care to protect my hardwood floors during demo and kept noise to a minimum. He also took time to make sure everything was done right and kept me informed throughout the process.     Michigans Handyman has been my go-to for gutter cleaning for the past few years. They are very communicative, letting me know when theyre coming (and theyre prompt), with up front pricing. The job is done well and they let me know of any issues they find. Im currently making a list of small repair jobs I need done, and will be calling them when Im ready. I highly recommend them!

    Work was done efficiently but when I asked about downspouts being cleaned the answer was “if air passes they’re alright”. In my opinion at least 2 of my downspouts have significant debris in them and cleaning out. At least the price was reasonable.

    I will definitely use this company again. I had a dishwasher installed. I was told by Home Depot that my counter top needed to be lifted or my floor needed to be cut into to get the old dishwasher out. I called several places no one wanted to do this. Michigan Handyman sent Patrick out and he was awesome. He was on time, very courteous, and professional.He found a way to get my old dishwasher out without lifting the counter top or cutting into the floor. Patrick kept me informed of what he was doing. I was very happy with their customer service.

    I never ever write reviews but I feel compelled to write this one. As someone who is very, very, very particular about the upkeep of my home, I used Michigans Handyman for some work and I cannot say enough great things about them. Hands down, I would highly recommend Michigans Handyman. I called them to take down and install new exterior shutters on my home as well as repair a damaged downspout and replace some shingles. They were very courteous and extremely professional from start to finish. I called on a Monday and they were out on Wednesday to do the work. They kept me informed every step of the way of what they were doing. The end result was a phenomenal job in every respect. I am definitely going to use them in the future for any other home improvement jobs.

    I called Michigans Handyman a few years ago to clean my gutters. Since then, they have repaired my fireplace, rebuilt my brick and cement front porch and painted my garage. Robert and his team are always responsive when I call. They give me a detailed run-down of what a job entails along with a quote. Work is always completed on time or early. Highly recommended.

    Nice Work.I had a front brick step that was falling apart and soon to be a real hazard. The guys from Michigan Handyman came out and gave an estimate when they said they would.     I highly recommend Michigan’s Handyman. They did Siding for us. The quality of the work was excellent, the job site was clean and well organized, and communication was very smooth. All of the staff that we interacted with were friendly, pleasant, and polite. The price was great and exactly as quoted. The job started and finished on the expected days, which was amazing. That basically never happens with other companies and it did this time! We will absolutely be working with them again.

    I was so pleased with Michael from Michigans Handyman and his work on our gutters. We have contacted about 3 others companies for quotes and even got ghosted by another so wish we couldve found them first! But either way, Michael exceeded our expectations with adding a splash guard and replacing the fascia board on our gutters with good pricing and fast turnaround time. We will definitely be using Michigans Handyman again for our next project!

    Jason and Dakota replaced our front door and storm door and did a few other small fixit jobs.I was very happy with their work.     The overall process is easier than what I expected. I left a voice message to the phone number first and one representative called me back. We discussed the scope of my project. The estimate was discussed through the Google map, which is really efficient and time-saving for both sides. The gutter service was prompt and actually done one day before the promise.     We needed our gutter and downspout rerouted. Robert at Michigan Handyman gave us a quote right away when we called. When we decided to use them, Robert had the foreman come out to scope the job the same day, then completed the job the next day. Brian and Mike did a great job. They matched the gutter color to the house so we didn’t have to paint it which was our biggest concern. They also hauled away the old gutters. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for other handyman type jobs.

    Ive used Michigans Handyman 5 times now for various home improvements and a bathroom renovation and every time they produce great results.     I had a difficult dishwasher install due to my home being older. I called many different services, but Im glad I decided to go with Michigans. I was able to text pictures of the job to get a very accurate quote before they came out to do the work.Patrick came out to do the install. He was on time, courteous, knowledgeable, and communicated with me VERY well. He got right down to business and had the job done in no time. He removed the old dishwasher, cleaned up all the detritus from the new dishwasher and walked me through it.     Friendly and AMAZINGLY fast!I needed a small roof repair on a rental house in Warren, Michigan. While other companies blew me off because they didnt want small jobs, Michigans Handyman was different.Not only did I get a fair price, but Michigans Handyman came out within hours of my call and did a quality job. No more worrying about that coming rainstorm damaging my roof.     Jason is a pro and all-around great guy to work with. Hes worked on my home twice: replacing gutters and fixing some leaky welds on a plumbing fixture. The plumbing job was complicated and required removing several sections of wooden ceiling trim - he finished the job quickly, on-budget, and left the work area clean and ready-to-use. Ive already contacted him for another project, and hell be my first call in the future!

    I had a great experience with Robert from Michigans Handyman. It was a Saturday when I called multiple companies to assess the damage with my gutter that fell down after a storm. Michigans Handyman was the only company to call me back. Not only did he call me back, he came that day to remove the trashed gutter and give me a quote which was very reasonable. We agreed on a day to get it done. When that day came, it was raining cats and dogs. I was wondering if they wouldve come out or not because of the weather. Later that day when I was running errands, I was left with a nice voicemail stating the gutter had been fixed! Incredible...nor rain, sleet or snow with this company. I highly recommend this company.

    We have been searching for someone to help us patch up some vinyl siding at a home we just purchased. These guys went out of there way to help us locate a match and then did the install more quickly than they promised. Excellent service and I would highly recommend them.

    We had a terrible experience with a well known company that installed gutter guards on our home on 11/19/15. After the snow a few days later, we had huge icicles hanging from ALL our gutters and ice dams on the roof. The owner of the previous business was extremely rude and would not even consider looking at or fixing the problem. although we made several attempts to resolve this with him. On Dec. 4, 2015, we called Michigans Handyman and spoke to Robert and explained the problem. Handyman Michigan came out on Dec. 7, and removed the new gutter guards, cleaned our gutters (20 gallons of debris that was supposed to be cleaned by the other company and checked the downspouts) Robert and his assistant then did a wonderful job of repairing the damage caused by the other company, and installed new Leaf-guard gutter guards and even took photos of the damaged gutters and shingles caused by the other company. It was a good price for the work involved. We really appreciate their prompt service and we will definitely call them in the future for more work and recommend them to friends and family.     I just used Michigans Handyman to replace some gutters. The entire expereince was wonderful. After calling multiple places, I was being told by some companies that they would only do work on gutters if the replaced the entire house. I didnt need the entire house done, just the back. Other companies I left messages for, never called me back.Michigans Handyman called me back within 30 minutes of leaving a message. I spoke with the gentleman over the phone, he was able to pull my house up on Google Earth and give me rough estimate on the spot. He explained that they would try and fix the existing gutters if they could. I liked the sound of that. They sent a represenative (Jason) out to inspect and give me a quote. The quote was exactly what they had quoted me over the phone. My gutters did need to be replaced....but they did the just the back. (The front was fine)They were friendly, clean, on time (which is a big thing in the contractor world). They took extra care around my flower beds and did an excellent job.I have raved about them to all my friends now. I would use them again and will in the future!Update 08/2014 - Gutters are working Beautifully Still - And, I used Michigan Handy Man for a smaller job this morning. They came to install a ceiling fan. The price was lower than both Lowes and Home Depot for Install and they were in and out quickly. Again they were courteous and professional. I will continue to use them.

    I have had Robert with Michigans Handyman perform several jobs at a few different houses of mine and he has done a terrific job every time. He has painted my home with vaulted ceilings. He has done plumbing of various types for me. He repaired my electrical problems at one house. I have had him install new windows, gutters, siding, and repair cement in my driveway. I also had a utility room that was gutted and he completely finished the room for me, with ceramic tile and installing the various sinks, hot-water heaters, lighting, drywall & insuring the electrical panel was ready for inspection. He is very meticulous about his work and insures he does a great job. I would hire him for more work, if he cant do the work he gets someone over who can.

    I recently purchased a home that was built in 1923. Michigans Handyman made it look like it was a brand new house. I had hardwood floors installed throughout. The kitchen and bath were completely remodeled. They installed recessed lighting throughout my home while updating all of the electrical including the circuit breaker box. I am very pleased with the work, and get compliments daily on how nice my home looks, all thanks to Michigans Handyman.     I called Michigan Handyman after waking to a roof leak caused by ice dams. Shortly after calling for service Jeremy Gilbert and his assistant were up on my roof. Water drained immediately after and damage was very minimal. Fast professional service at a fair price - Im happy I called!

    I requested assistance in repairing a rotted truss. I received a quick call back informing me that the fix was fairly simplae and they gave me instructions as to how to make the repair free of charge! All I needed was a 2x4 and some nails/screws to attach it. The repair took me about 15 minutes as a resutl of their instructions and assistance. Total cost was $5 in materiel. Awesome response and clear guidance as to what to do. I hghly recommend them.

    These guys are about business.. WOOOW! we had a lot of rain yesterday and when i came home from work i found out i had a slow drip coming from my daughters room.. SMH all I kept thinking was how some roof company was going to give me some astronomical roof estimate.. long story short Steve shows up in my drive way the next morning and gives me more then a fair estimate to repair the hole in my roof.. what i appreciated is that he didnt try to sell me on anything he got right to the facts they where in and out literally 15 mins! If you want a honest estimate with more then reasonable pricing and quality work to go with it then look no further. i am going to use them in the future not only for roof but any other repairs we may need..

    I had taken out a window in my shower, and I had a glass block window replacement put in. I had some of the tile cut out and the wall (plaster) worked down so the new tile would fit in well with the old. Overall brilliant job done, impeccable tiling, no piece could go in uncut, and he cut them all perfectly, sloped the shelf perfectly, tied it into the previous existing window frame the correct way so it will remain waterproof for as long as that bathroom will last!

    We used Michigans Handyman for gutter cleaning and repair services, and I highly recommend them. Brian L. returned my call immediately and set up a time to come by to give an estimate on the very same day. The work was completed the next day and Brian did a great job of communicating about when they would arrive. They were polite, friendly, efficient, neat, reasonably priced, and performed the job well. Brian communicated specifically what was being done and even took pictures so we could see exactly what he was talking about. They even hauled off the old pieces of damaged gutters so we were not left with a mess. I will definitely be calling Michigans Handyman back for additional work in the future and I highly recommend them.

    I worked with Jeremy on a number of different projects. I was only in town for a few days in an attempt to get a rental property ready for sale, so time was a huge factor. Not only was Jeremy able to scrape up the resources necessary to completely replace our roof on a Sunday morning, they did a fantastic job.
