    We experienced a water leak emergency on a Saturday mid morning. This leak threatened our crawl space and foundation. I had heard great things about Larrys Plumbing and all of it was true. Larry came out to our house which is an hour plus drive. He arrived within 2 hours of my call. He quickly identified the source of the leak and repaired it.     Outstanding!! Scrambled out on a Friday afternoon to fix a big shower leak which required water shutdown to the whole house! Immediately diagnosed the problem, fortunately had a replacement kit handy and repaired the leak quickly. Second time Ive had them out to the house. First to install a bathroom in the basement and then this. Outstanding work both times, highly recommend them!

    I have gone round and round with contractors who say they have excellent knowledge about their craft ... but find some really dont.Larrys Plumbing and specifically Chandler our service tech clearly knows the plumbing business. Hes strong and direct about what he finds you need corrected. He was fast to locate what was wrong and what it would take to fix. Everything was clearly explained.First, I had another plumbing company come in who said my circulator pump was working properly. When I made the appointment with the first company I wrote that I needed a circulator pump and the brand that needed fixing. Their tech plugged the pump back in and said that was all it needed. When they left I tested the water spigots in the sink that was controlled by the pump. Both my hot and cold spigots ran very hot when turned on! After my call to the company, the owner came. He told me once he checked the water temps that all I needed was to wait for the cold water spigot to begin to run cooler. This pump NEVER worked this way in the past 6 years Ive lived here. Thats what I explained to him then but he still insisted it was okay!I knew I needed to search for another plumbing company. I went through several referrals by other companies I contacted and finally it came down to Larrys Plumbing. Their scheduler reassured me that they were well versed in circulator pumps. Of course I was uncertain given what I had just experienced which I conveyed to Larrys helpful person who took my order. I was not disappointed.She was confident too sending their tech to fix my problem. Once Chandler diagnosed the problem with the pump he went through the house checking other spigots to test how long the water needed to run before it ran hot to see what the delay was on sinks further away from the hot water heater. He felt it was acceptable, as did I. He also checked my Koehler 1-piece toilet that I was told (by the other plumber) needed a new rubber part replaced. Chandler again reassured me that a new one would wear the same why. He asked if we had a water softener. We do have a whole-house water softener system. He thought right.I am so grateful I finally found a plumbing company I can rely on. Trust what the choices are that were explained well so I could decide how to move forward. I was assured a list of suggested repairs would be prepared with costs and sent to my email.I feel confident recommending this company, Larrys Plumbing LLC, Hayes, VA, 804/413-9020. You too will be pleased you finally found a competent plumbing company.

    I’m surprised that that the tech couldn’t replace the bathtub drain. Larry’s installed that drain just two years ago. The quality of the material used was so poor that it corroded and snapped off.But overall, their response times are good, their performance is excellent.

    Our tankless hot water heater went out Sunday evening. We put in a service request were able to get someone out Monday afternoon. We were told someone would arrive between 1 and 3pm. We assumed, like most other companies, that someone would actually show up around 4-430. Instead, we were very pleasantly surprised when Les showed up at 1:30. We received a text when he was on his way over which was great. He was very nice and very honest with us. I would highly recommend! We will Absolutely call them again if we ever have a plumbing issue.

Our issue seems to be a well tank issue, and while they couldn’t fix it, they pointed us in the right direction immediately and told us to give them a call once that’s fixed so they can sort out anything else that might be contributing to our low water pressure.     We called Larrys out to access and fix a couple of problem areas. Not only did they come on the first scheduled appointment (just 4 days after we called), they were on time and at the beginning of our scheduled window of 9am-1pm. Out of the three contractors scheduled to come out this week, Larrys was the ONLY company that did not call at the last minute to reschedule or cancel - THANK YOU. The technician, Chandler, was fast, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I cant say enough great things about him. Chandler quickly located the issue, explained why it was happening, made the repair and then crawled under the house to triple check that it was completely fixed. We will definitely be calling Larrys for future projects.-------------We ended up using Larrys Plumbing again on 06/22/2021 to replace some faucets and fix a leak under our sink. We had another great experience with Larry and his team. We highly recommend calling Larrys if you have any plumbing issues.

    Super kind and honest. We asked him to take a look at 3 things we needed fixed (things we thought we might need done to our new house on the plumbing)-- he looked at them and gave us his honest opinion (and basically said we could probably get by without doing any of the three and be ok-- there would be no damage to the home-- which seemed really honest of him-- like he wasnt trying to get work and money from us for no reason... but he told us his opinion about each and let us decide what we would like to do). After his expert opinion, we decided we wanted one of the fixes done. He did it happily and explained what he was doing as he did it to help us understand a bit more about the water tank (for future services to it). He also gave us a consultation on a garage we are hoping to convert. Really great.

    People tend to give bad reviews when you have a bad experience but when all goes well these professional dont get the credit.This company is awesome! The owner and one of his employees where working on my neighbors water heater and he rang my door bell to tell me I had a leak in the yard. He even pointed me in the dirreccion as to where the leak is. He gave me his card just in case I needed help. Professional! CURTEIUOUS and down right just amazing customer service.I dug whole and found the issue, I sent him photos via email and the company and the technician new exactly what needed to be done! I had Chandler (technician) come out and was an absolute pleasure to deal with friendly and helpful his customers service was 2nd to None! Once everything was done he checked my water preasure and gave told me to clean out the nozzles with vinegar and baking soda ( which I already knew) he even made some great suggestions moving forward he thanks me for my military service ( which always appreciated) and was on his wayIf you have any plumbing issues Larrys Plumbing should be your first call hands down!

    I called Larrys to install a new, pre-purchased toilet for my moms guest bathroom. The price quoted was reasonable, the crew was on time (early actually, bonus), they took care to keep my moms home clean, and they did a beautiful job installing the toilet. Fast as heck too. I am pretty sure they would have been in and out in 30 minutes, but my mom and husband kept talking to them, so they were there for about 45 minutes. I will definitely be calling them in the future for my moms plumbing needs. I should have called them sooner and saved myself many headaches with other companies.

    Larry set my kitchen sink and installed plumbing for it and my new faucet and water purifier system under kitchen sink.He took out my old shower and he is going to replumb to install my new toilet where the shower had been. He has removed the old toilet and capped off the drain.When this mobile home was built a hole big enough to crawl into was cut into the floor under the shower that I will get repaired and then be able to go ahead and put the Hardy board down and new floor down.     A young man by the name of Chandler is the one who came to check my plumbing issues out. He found the issue quick. An issue unfortunate he could fix being it was a septic tank problem 😕 but nonetheless, he was very courteous, and professional.

    Review #2:Chandler and Tim came out to inspect my shower drain and inspect my hot water heater. No leaks on my drain and the hot water heater is good to go!Review #1:Larry and his team showed up to repair our shower faucet in our son’s bathroom. It would scream at you while showering. Kind of funny at first...Larry found a damaged control valve, he said likely when it was installed years ago. Also while doing the repair, he found a small hole in the pipe up to the shower head. We never knew it was leaking.All was fixed and the price was reasonable! We highly recommend this small veteran owned business!!
