Overall, Steven provides excellent service. Steven replaced the meter socket on our duplex home in excellent time while explaining all necessary steps throughout the entire process. Steven’s pricing was very competitive and transparent as well, with Steven’s noting a potential credit should one step of the job not be required (which in our case occurred, thus the credit was applied). Steven is clearly very knowledgeable and skilled in his craft while being very amiable throughout the entire process. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the job and will utilize Steven for future needs. If we could, we’d give more than five stars.

Steven did a project on my residence in Haverhill, installing a new panel (consolidating a primary push matic panel and sub-panel into one main panel), and replacing finicky smoke alarms that frequently registered false alarms. His communication was great, reasonable pricing with a variety of payment options and caused minimal interruption for my panel. I would recommended Steven for any job you may have.

What more could I asked for?! This is the second time he did work for me. I’ll call him again when I need a reliable electrician. I purchased a new home that needed a bit of work (exterior lights and outlets that were not properly installed and were unsafe, light switches that didnt work, panel improperly installed by previous team, doorbell installation, wiring run for cable and Ethernet and new cable/internet box closet installation - he worked with the cable company and me to make sure everything was run to an access point that was convenient for me). Since it was going to be a big job, I also chose to upgrade my service at the same time. Steven took the time to do a professional evaluation of my new home and asked many questions in order to anticipate the upgrades, concerns and questions I would have both at that time and toward the future. He prepared multiple estimates to address certain issues and upgrades in the order of my pocket and preference. It was first-class service and dedication to making sure I was completely happy with the work but also in a position to fix only the safety concerns if needed. He noticed different preferences with my home automation and made suggestions based on my system design without any direction from me. Having someone who cares and thinks critically about the desires of his customers without being asked is invaluable when youre busy and dealing with a move. His team uses sophisticated scheduling and payment software and he communicated constantly throughout the job. He planned the project well and completed on time even after I added two additional, unexpected upgrades to the job and coordinated with the city regarding the permits. The team he had on-site was professional and friendly. I trust Steven and intend to use him again for different projects and upgrades.

I found Steven online because of the exceptional reviews that he has received in the past and I have to echo what other reviewers have mentioned. He is professional, prompt, polite and gave options and recommendations on the work that we needed to our older home. He installed a new dining fixture, several outdoor outlets, a motion sensor light on the driveway, a new basement outlet, and two new sconces in front of our house. All of the work he did was excellent and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done. Will definitely contact Steven again for work in the future!

I contracted with Steven to install a generator connection for our house. Steven was very prompt and responsive to electronic communication, my preferred contact method. When on site to review the scope of the work Steven was very descriptive to assure that I understand why installations need to be done a certain way. Steven helped me pick out a generator that met our needs. On the days of the appointments Steven was on time and performed the work as discussed. Contracting with Steven I always knew where we were in the process and what to expect. While probably not the cheapest service, I knew from the comprehensive description that the work was being done correctly. The only negative thing throughout the whole process is that I found a few bits of trimmed cables and a couple of screws. Luckily I found these in my cleanup of the garage before our car had a chance to find them with the tire. A small blip in an otherwise flawless experience. I would/will definitely contract with Steven again in the future.

He helped trouble shoot an issue, worked and coordinated with the new home build electrician to ensure the charger worked with the generator. Not all electricians know how to install and configure security systems. Steve knew all about the models and pros and cons of wired vs. battery and more. I have worked with Steve for almost a decade now to do electrical work in my home and in rental properties. I could probably get cheaper quotes from other electricians, but I know that Steve has integrity, will do the job right, will charge me what he quotes (and communicate well when other problems surface that need to be dealt with that impact the quote), and hell be where he says hell be when he says hell be there. I dont want an electrician who will cut corners or low ball my quote just to jack it up at the end. I know I can trust Steve, and he is the only electrician Ill use.

I cant find enough good words to describe the awesome services my family received from Steven M Parker electric, from the moment we called late evening after a tree fell and knocked our powerlines down to the awesome job he did in no time the next morning. He came that evening 20mins after the initial call, stayed and waited a long time for the power company , then walking us through what needed to be done( I was clueless). Came back the next day very early( called at 8:30am) was here before 9am , did an excellent job with the inspector , hewas willing to do other peoples job just so we could be comfortable ( like calling the power company when he didnt have to just to check on their ETA.) I want to say a HUGE thank you to Steven for being a rock and a great guide throughout this unfortunate situation. I would recommend him for a lifetime. A tree limb pulled the wires from my house during Nor’easter Quinn. I made several and only one called back. My lines were replaced quickly and very professionally. I plan on using SMP in the future to hardwire my generator to the house.
