    Excellent service! Our septic pump failed, and they came to pump our tank on a Saturday morning. The main tank was pumped out, then after digging for 2-3 hrs through 4 feet of dirt to get to the pump tank, it was discovered that the lid was too heavy for 1 man to lift. They came back a few days later and cleared the pump tank so the pump could be replaced. They then went through a extensive search to source materials to construct a riser to bring access up to grade and provide a lighter cover. The pump installer was highly complimentary of their work when he came back today to permanently wire our pump and alarm. Thank you!

    Toilet was gurgling. Tank was clean. Will came out and explained everything. Turns out the distribution box was filled with roots and dirt/debris. Without his intuition, dedication and skill, we’d still have the problem. Will was wonderful throughout the process!!! And very pleasant even though we asked a ton of questions.

    Dyer septic has the most professional employees. I had two young men come over to pump my septic tank the other day. I wish I remembered their names because they were really great. Then another young man showed up, his name is Nick, another employee of dyer septic. It turns out that it really was a plumbing issue and not septic. I was so frustrated but Nick took the time to explain everything to me. Ive never had anyone explain in a way I could understand, about why I was having the plumbing problems. He was very professional and very patient, an extremely nice man. I would always choose dyer for any future septic problems I may have in the future.

    We have a family camp on Thompson lake in Oxford. The toilet was gurgling and I knew we needed a clean out fast. Dyer has done a wonderful job for my grandparents In the past, so I called them immediately. They were extremely quick to arrive, very personable and fair. You couldn’t ask for a more thorough well done job. They even had to come back a couple days later to pump out some more water that was back flowing from the leech field due to the high ground water levels. They told my grandmother she didn’t owe them anything. That right there speaks VOLUMES about this business and it’s INTEGRITY. If you’re looking for a hardworking honest company, look no further. Please disregard all the one star no call back claims… There’s usually a good reason for that if you know what I mean. Great job and we will continue to use this company for all our septic and excavating needs!👍👍👍👍👍

    We just purchased our home that sat vacant for 4 year. We had no idea where the septic system was. Dyer Septic Service sent Will to do the job. Will was such a polite and professional young man who knew his job. He found septic tank, emptied, fixed the diffuser all in record time. As a business owner we know how valuable good employee are.     I made an appointment with them to pump my tank and they came the next Monday morning at 8 am and pumped it out with no trouble. I had the tank cover already exposed and ready to be pumped. The driver contacted me when he was done and said everything looked good and I was all set to go and even cleaned the filter for me. Great local company at a great price and very responsive.

    We recently purchased a home in Maine. The septic needed replacing. We contacted Dyer Excavation, and are extremely happy we did. The job was completed in two days, and the yard looks beautiful. The top of our driveway and the drainage around the driveway was a disaster. We had no idea what we were going to do with that.While the work was being done, Kenzie called me and asked if we wanted the driveway and drainage taken care of while they were there. Rick suggested pulling out the old, broken up pavement, fixing the drainage and putting down gravel. We were thrilled he suggested this and told them to go ahead with the job.We are so happy we contacted Dyer to do the job. The company is extremely professional, provide excellent communication, and the quality of their work is exceptional. If we could give them 10 stars, we would!

    We had noticed that our toilet and shower were not draining and ultimately they began to back up. The result was an emergency and we were fortunate to contact Dyer Septic which came on the same day and fixed the problem. Riley quickly noted a very high amount of root build up around the outlet and also roots in the tank. He removed the roots and assessed the need. He determined that more repairs were needed and adjustment to the tank to make cleaning easier (a riser). Bruce explained the job and completed all the repairs for a fair price within two weeks which included excavation of the septic tank area. The professionalism and competence of the entire TEAM were excellent. We were impressed by all the members of the TEAM including, but not limited to, Riley, Bruce and Mckenzie. Wonderful experience. You would not go wrong to hire them if you want the job done correctly and fairly. All the Best.

    Ive used Dyer Septic for my septic needs since I moved to the area 8 years ago. Their septic pumping is fast easy and theyve always been there within a few days of me calling. Dennis was on time, professional and answered all my questions.They even helped me over the phone when I was having issues with my filter.I would recommend them to anyone. You wont be disappointed.

    I needed to have my septic tanks pumped and called three local placed based on a google search. All of the businesses except for Dyer put me to voicemail. Dyer answered the phone immediatly and was able to schedule an appointment for the following week. The driver called me 30 minutes out to let me know of his arrival. Once on site he was very professional and explained how the tanks work and recommendations for cleaning. He pumped the sludge tank and recommended that we pump the water effluent tank on the next visit in 3-5 years. Before leaving he check to make sure the inlet was clear and working. All and all a very good experinece and we will be using Dyer again for our septic pumping needs.

    Love that its a small company. The first time ever getting our septic pumped was years ago, and the owner was the one driving the truck. After that one experience weve called them ever since.     We knew our 60 year old septic field needed replacing, and then added a new guest house to the mix. Rick knew it would take over a week to complete the field and add a second tank, and he managed all the equipment and materials very professionally and on time.     We had a septic system issue that was hard to diagnose because it was an older system. Dyer Septic was immediately responsive and sent out Bruce and Alan who carefully and methodically exposed the system and arrived upon a minimally intrusive solution. Their professional, yet practical approach, was truly amazing and appreciated. Their knowledge of septic systems is truly remarkable. If you use Dyer, you will be getting the best and will not be disappointed.

    Mr Dyer and his team put it a new leaching field and professionally graded the area in 3 days. He even put large rocks in front of the leaching field so that no one could drive over it. The reason he had to put the rocks there is because our leaching field is across the road and people could easily drive on to it. I went out there one morning and there it was I didnt request it. I didnt even realize I needed it. Additionally, he put insulation in to protect the pipe going to the leaching field from the tank so it wouldnt freeze in the winter because it crossed the road to the field. Again, that was not called out in the contract. He did it because it was the right thing to do to protect us.The previous owner used Dyer to pump out the septic system every 3 years. That was one of the reasons we spoke to them about replacing the leaching field. Additionally, during that process, I spoke to many septic installers and received quotes from vendors in the septic business in Bridgton and gladly chose Dyer. Other professionals I spoke to in the field including, pump installers, septic designers, and my electrician at McIver directed me back to Dyer because as they said theyll do it right the first time and they know how to do it professionally. They understand septic systems from the beginning to the end and will be back to maintain your system. Many of the other vendors dont do pumping or maintain your systems. They put them in and thats the last youll see of them. One of the people in the area who installs pumps put it this way when Dyer puts it in it will last. You may find somebody a little bit cheaper but a Dyer system will be done correctly and last you for many MORE years.Mr Dyer realized I need a riser on my solid tank and the front of our yard need to be graded with loom and grass....and yes he made sure that that was on the list to be done as well.This is a family-run business. They are honest, hardworking and committed to delivering a product that THEY and you will be proud of. After you meet these people, it will be obvious that for a critical system like a septic system in your home, you go to the people that will be with you through many years.

    Last Saturday late afternoon (4:00) our septic tank decided to pay us an inside visit. I received Rick Dyers name as someone to call from a friend. He was at our home in Bridgton within 20 minutes with an out-of-town guest (Nick) in his truck. Fixed our issue within 45 minutes. It was a pleasure working with him and I would DEFINITELY recommend his services to anyone in need. Hes a 5 star contractor in my book!

    We hired Dyer excavation to install a new septic system for a house with 9 full bathrooms. It was a big job comprised of three 1000 gal tanks, two booster pumps and a very large leach field. Despite the job being complicated by two different parties contracting the project and scheduling complications, Dyer did a fantastic job to the satisfaction of both parties involved. They were careful not to damage an asphalt driveway, cleaned up the work area and seeded the ground when the job was complete. The price was fair, considering the closest competitor’s bid was minimally less expensive but involved the customer doing some of the prep work. Highly recommended!
