    JA Myers made the home buying experience pleasant and stress free. We were an extremely quick move-in as we are a corporate relocation and I fell in love with the home as soon as we saw it. We are new to the state and Austin made sure we had all the information we needed to get settled in. He was so easy to work with and always available day or night for anything we needed. He knew we had a tight deadline and made sure our home was done on time (actually early!). The staff at the JA Myers office were equally amazing. It was the smoothest closing we’ve ever had. The staff went through everything step by step, page by page with us, something that our last builder did not do. Our home is beautiful and top-notch quality. No small detail was missed.     J.A. Myers is an amazing company. I have been renting for about a month. My entire experience from the tour of the house, to my move in day was seamless. Sasha the property manager is amazing! She is kind, responsive, patient, and knowledgeable. Every maintenance report that I have had to make has been extremely minor and handled almost immediately. The homes are absolutely beautiful inside and out. The neighborhood is beautiful, clean, and quiet. They are still actively constructing homes, however the workers are extremely respectful of residents, and more than willing to move equipment and vehicles in order for us to pass by. I am truly enjoying my new home and highly recommend J.A. Myers properties!

    Sasha is an absolute sweet heart, and has helped my girlfriend and I every step of the way.     What an amazing experience we had purchasing our new home. From start to finish was great. From the moment we met Mitch, we felt at ease. No pressure whatsoever. He listened to what we had to say and let us talk out what we needed to in order to make our final decision. Once the contract was signed, Mitch went above and beyond to reassure us when we had questions or concerns. My husband has even mentioned that he felt like we received better support from the seller’s side than if we had actually had our own agent.While a majority of this great experience is due to Mitch, the closing team was amazing as well. Things got crazy at the end with the bank, but they didn’t hesitate to keep waiting for what was needed to get us to closing on time.If we come across anyone looking to buy a home anywhere near here, we will definitely point them in the J.A. Myers direction. They have an awesome team in place from building to closing!!

    First time renters and I’m glad we chose JA Myers. Though, we did have to move because JA Myers stated they wanted to sell the house just after a year of us renting. Sasha was super helpful and able to get us into another property quickly and smoothly. Now, I do feel rent is on the higher side for a townhome in comparison to other townhouse rentals in the area but, I do enjoy the comfort of knowing Sasha is there for any questions or concerns we have.

    We rented a duplex from J.A. myers while they were building our new house. We worked with Sasha on the rental. It was such an enjoyable process, she made everything so easy for us.     We have been in our home for a little over a month now, so far we are very pleased. Communication while our home was being built was very nice. We are renting so unfortunately we are limited to the modifications we can make at this time, such as painting the walls and putting up a fence for our dogs. All in all we are pleased with our home.

ALL have been super professional, respectful, timely, great quality of workmanship, and I can see they care about their work. Brett has been amazing in managing the work to be completed and has always been timely and professional as well. Colleen was amazing from the start and there were no surprises at settlement either with the settlement/closing estimate to the items she and I talked about/added to the base price of the house!     If you’re looking for rental property, or even to build a home, JA Myers has them both! This company has been a staple of the Hanover area for as long as I can remember, and certainly did not disappoint when it finally came time to partner with them for my own needs. I was blown away when I finally got to see inside and realize that not just the model home came with the impeccable quality and high build standards, but every home!!! I know there are other builders in the area who offer similar services, but the one thing you will not get from them, that I guarantee you will get here, is how much they genuinely care! I was treated like one of the family from start to finish, and with a level of professionalism that is unmatched by any other experience I’ve ever had! In new construction if there is something you are not satisfied with they address your concern and make arrangements to have it fixed.     First I will say I love our house and that is the reason for the four star rating. Compared to other local builders I wouldn’t pick anyone else… but communication could be much better on follow up fixes. We have had some things to fix pending for many months with no forward movement on them. I am not sure if that is because they built so many houses all at once during the housing surge times. I have had a couple semi-major water issues that were addressed right away, one of those brought Ben (the owner) out to our house on a weekend. That was a cool, but there are other issues that have gone unchecked. All in all I would buy the house again.

    Excellent experience with JA Myers. Wayne the foreman was very good, demanding that tasks were done properly. The small things that can make a big difference were excellent. For example the concrete work was smooth, done with expansion joints, sidewalk exceeded expectations with a nice curved design. The electrical work was done with Square D panel, high quality. The plumbing was done with a 1 pipe and 3/4 feeding the far side of the house. They could have done the job with 1/2 pipe which reduces the water flow considerably. They use 6 exterior walls for improved insulation. These are a few examples of the quality they build into the home. And they do this at a very competitive price.I would recommend JA Myers to anyone.

    Colleen, Ben, Sandy and the entire team at JA Myers Homes were fabulous to work with. They allowed us to make customizations and changes to our new home that other builders would not - yes we can was always their attitude! After walking through and sitting down with other builders in the area, and having friends who bought from those other builders and hearing the troubles they had with their homes, we are glad we bought our second home with JA Myers. Proud to say we have been 12 years (10 years in our first home and now 2 years in our second) with JA Myers Homes.

    IIn May 2017 we contracted with J. A. Myers to build our condo in Jackson Heights. Working with Ben Myers and his team was a very positive experience. I watched closely as they constructed the unit. They build an excellent condo. Any problems or concerns that I had were promptly addressed and resolved. The entire construction process from May 1, 2017 to settlement on July 31, 2017 was above and beyond my expectations.

    We chose JA Myers to build our off-site Avenel home because of great reviews, how long they have been in business, etc. Before we bought our lot from someone else we had to meet with Ben to come up with rough plans for the inside and outside of our home. We told him that we liked the first floor of the Avenel and the second floor of another plan and Ben told us that we can make a 5th bedroom where we would have a loft and and the 2nd floor family room. We LOVED that idea so much since we didnt want any wasted space and had furniture that would definitely fit in a bigger room. Ben was patient with us and our community with building rules and customized our Avenel wherever we wanted to change things to our liking. Mike, our foreman was awesome.; he went above and beyond with his hard work and dedication to our house. We are VERY IMPRESSED with JA Myers and would recommend them to anyone who wants to build. We are VERY HAPPY in our perfect new home. Thank You So Much!

    JAMyers Homes Builders and professional team are outstanding. They expeditiously responded to our questions and concerns at every step of the process, even after we moved in our new home.My husband and I started our journey towards buying a new home in the fall of 2022.We have enjoyed the Gettysburg, PA area for many years so decided to explore new homes in the vicinity. Making the move from Maryland to Pennsylvania was an easy choice but deciding on the right home was a challenge. We desired a newly built rancher style house. After visiting several builders and communities, JAMyers is by far the best there is! The homes are solid with many added upgrades that make them beautiful. Their team worked diligently to get us settled since we sold our former house quickly and were staying in a hotel. It was worth the wait! We settled on a rancher that has an open space concept with tons of light, beautiful floors, cabinets and granite countertops. Their HOA monthly fee is reasonable as well. Many of the other communities we visited had 300 plus pages of HOA rules and fees in excess of $300/month.     I purchased a home to scale down and to move my mother into a single floor home. We are both very happy with the purchase and so far all is good. There was a certain difficulty getting us in before winter but the bad weather was definitely a factor. In the end, J.A. Myers did a final push on our behalf and we were able to have the closing right before Christmas. The place is well built and the space and division of the rooms very well planned. We purchased a luxury unit and the high ceiling is what we like the most.
