    Excellent workmanship. Fair pricing. Timely completion.I recently used Mr. Fix It for a bathroom remodel. Beth took care of any phone communications and also made sure my invoices were correct. She responded quickly to any messages left or emails sent.Scheduled my consult with Terry, he was on time, communications were prompt and he took the time to answer any of my questions. We traded many emails back and forth updating the project and finalizing the plans. Each email I sent was answered quickly and with detailed responses. I signed the contact. Jason and Patrick were the service men that showed up. Both of these guys took pride in the work they did, answered any of my questions, worked swiftly and cleaned up at the end of every day.Working on a house built in the 1800’s… the idea of budget quickly goes out the window. Jason and Patrick were able to quickly identify issues and provide realistic solutions. The ability for these guys to think “on their feet” was proved time and time again by the simple nature of an old house. Plumbing was replaced. Floor joists replaced. Subfloor replaced. Lighting and exhaust fan updated. Electrical moved and new plugs/switches installed. Framing out and moving a doorway 12” inward…. After I showed up with a solid wood replacement door….All of these items were non planned repairs, yet they made it happen. “Time & Material” 😁I also had a section of my old cast iron drain pipe replaced. These guys fought that crusty old pipe and the nastiness it held until it was done to perfection.The final product turned out incredible. The fit and finish speaks for itself.Were there surprises? Yes. Were there delays? Yes…. That is the nature of home repairs. Did these guys do everything possible to handle those surprises and delays? Absolutely!I had high hopes for an “on budget” remodel… but I had realistic views of what would be found when things were taken apart. At the end of the day I am very pleased with the work performed, the pricing quoted and the service completed. Don’t hesitate to call them if you need quality service👌

    Impeccable workmanship, reasonable pricing, friendly and knowledgeable team!We hired Terry from Mr. Fixit to replace two outer doors (basement stairwell door and back patio door) that were rotting from years of water damage. We also had them clean the entire exterior of the house, and then paint our fading shutters. Terry patiently worked with us during the initial consultation to get a true understanding of what we envisioned, and he provided thoughtful recommendations on how to meet our goals and budget. The crew (Jason and Pat) were so friendly. Their experience/commitment to quality really shined through on this project. And, WOW, we are thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and beautiful results! It feels like a brand new home! We would use them in the future for any home improvement needs. We would recommend them to friends, family, and anyone looking for an honest, reliable, quality home improvement contractor.

    My wife and I have used Mr. Fix It Home services for several large projects around our house recently. Terry and the crew completely remodeled and repaired our finished basement over the winter, and most recently completed a large scale outdoor project for us.We enlisted Mr. Fix to demolish and rebuild our deck, rebuild our fence, repair and rejuvenate our walk out basement, seal our garage floor and repaint our outdoor trim. They were more than up to task, and did a wonderful and timely job! We couldn’t be happier with our new yard especially our new deck. We have received many compliments from neighbors. The crew is hard working and friendly, always up to help with anything we need. Terry is up to whatever challenge we throw his way and we could not be more pleased. Both of the jobs we hired Mr. Fix it for were quite large and time consuming, but they were completed in a timely manner. The team is also great about cleaning up after themselves and being very respectful to my wife and I who work from home. Bonus they are also very kind to our dogs. I could not recommend Mr. Fix it more for both small and large scale projects and I am sure we will hire them again in the future.

    We used Mr. Fix It to install new windows and gutters with a drain pipe to take care of water issues we were having. Terry and his crew were very professional and completed the job right on schedule. The quality of work was great and I have no complaints whatsoever. Ill definitely contract with them again.

    We had a project to convert a bedroom back to its original state of a dining room, while opening up the walls to large entries. Project also included replacing stair banisters and entire first level floors. The team was speedy and professional. They were also very cautious to keep your living space clear throughout the duration, recognizing this is your home and that we still have to live it in. It turned out beautiful. We’ll definitely work with Terry and his team again on future projects.

    Mr. Fix It has done many quality jobs. His work is clean, timely and affordable. He is very knowledgeable in the industry and uses that to make informed decisions with his clients best interest at heart! I would highly recommend him to anyone in the DMV area.

    Terry and his crew completed a roof over an existing patio for me. Finished product looks like it was built during initial construction which was 10 years prior! Even had a water leak that was repaired the next day. Would definitely recommend.

    I hired Terry to complete some moderate drywall repairs throughout my home. He came out to do free, no obligation estimate on all of the work, and later emailed me a detailed report of the costs breakdown. I proceeded with scheduling the job, they ran about a month out for scheduling. Everyone was great, from Beth in the office, to terry who’s the owner of the company who does the estimates and jobs, to his crew. The crew were hard working guys, they came on time and were very neat throughout, even vacuumed around the job sites when done (on top of pretty heavy duty drop clothes they use). They took all trash and debris with them, and completed the job with much detail. The guys were even friendly with my labs, who occasionally snuck off to explore what was going on. I will definitely use Mr. Fix It home services in the future.
