    Coastline Painters did a great job on the exterior of my home. It was a lead job on a large almost 200 yr old home that was horribly peeling and needed a fair amount of carpentry work on the porch. Several painters refused to even give me a quote. Dave came out, provided a fair quote and even started sooner then expected. His workers were on time, polite and cleaned up every day. Dave and Kathy are easy to talk to and work with. My home looks great and I have received many compliments, even from strangers. I would definitely use Coastline Painters again.

    I cant say enough good things about the professionalism of Coastline Painters. They did an excellent job of painting, scraping and following lead procedures on my 70 year old home. The house was peeling and it needed a lot of attention. Now it looks beautiful!! So nice to work with Kathy & Dave. They are great!

John Moffitt and his mother Kathy Moffitt own and operate Coastline Painters together and make a great team, with John handling the estimating and day to day project management, while Kathy manages the paperwork and office support, with promptness and thoroughgoing good humor and warmth. From your first interaction with each of them you will know that you are dealing with highly competent, detail-oriented professionals, who take great pride in the quality of the service that they provide. Their customers really are their primary focus, and your satisfaction their ultimate goal. They seek feedback throughout the process of working with you so that nothing mars your experience as it unfolds. Its like having concierge-level service.The crew that we had work on our home was similarly professional and highly skilled, including carpenters for any needed wood repairs that come to light in the course of preparing the house for painting. We had several such repairs needed on our 310 year old National Register-listed home, which took real craftsmanship to carry out, and Coastlines crew had the requisite talent in-house, so that no needless delays occurred with the painting schedule, as the skilled workers were on hand to immediately remediate the problems as they came to light.The attention to detail carried over into the extensive prep work that was performed on our exterior, and then superb quality painting for the two coats that were applied.Throughout the process, Johns chief foreman Wilson was a daily presence to supervise the work and to answer any questions that came up in the course of the project. John himself visited the job site daily and was readily available by phone and text at all other times. His approach is most definitely hands-on, and detail-oriented, and that carried over to the crew members as well, who stayed late on several days to get things just right.We have never had such professional painters work on our home, and recommend them unhesitatingly. Better painters, and nicer business people, are not to be found. Two thumbs WAY up.

    I would recommend Coastline painting to anyone looking for a beautiful paint job in their home or business at a great price. If you want a professional, reliable, punctual, honest, clean and trustworthy painter- look no further. The team directed by Dave (the owner) painted our whole house including walls, cathedral ceilings, and all the trim and doors. This was not a small undertaking because most of all of the wood trim in the house had to be replaced as well as painted. We are BEYOND happy with the work done in our home. We can say we are truly happy and thrilled with our home because of Daves team skills and caring.

    Coastline Painters are complete professionals! The price for the interior painting of three rooms was reasonable; the crew was meticulous with the painting and the clean-up each day; and Dave, the owner, was wonderful to work with in setting up the dates and the payment plan.     Coastline has been painting our house inside and out since 2013. The price is always fair, the works is excellent and most important the painters are clean and neat. They just finished painting our new home theater room (black ceiling, dark blue walls) and they also did all the sheetrocking and joint compounding. The results are spectacular. We are about to have them paint our Master bedroom and bath, then later this year well paint the front of our house needs. Oh and we love that they are a local company based in Guilford. Highly Recommended!

    I highly recommend Coastline Painters. They did an excellent job painting a house that should have been painted 5 years ago. When I requested some additional touch ups and brought attention to some minor issues, all my requests were already on their radar and they made the fixes quickly. Their price was very fair and reasonable, not too high and not too low. They are professional to work with and very responsive by phone, text, and email.

    We used Coastline Painting for exterior painting of our home and we were thrilled with the job they did. We discussed doing a top quality job and they completely delivered! The entire crew did an amazing job starting with an extremely thorough prep of all surfaces to laying down primer and two coats of paint. The end result was beautiful! Whenever we had any questions or concerns the entire crew was very accommodating and the foreman was great. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Coastline Painters for your painting needs.

    Coastline Painters, run by Dave and Kathy Moffitt, is a 5 star painting company! They painted the outside of our house this past summer and we couldn’t be more pleased!! The workmanship was too notch, they cleaned up completely at the end of each day and helped us out on a few projects not even included in the initial bid. We needed some carpentry done in addition to the painting and that was top notch as well. We are extremtely satisfied customers and would highly recommend Coastline Painters to anyone!

    Dave and his team, lead by Serafin, did an amazing job removing my popcorn ceilings and painting my walls. Dave even went above and beyond when I had my Kitchen redone and had to move a recessed light and needed to patch my ceiling.     Dave and Kathy run a tight ship, and their employees are terrific. Everyone is prompt, polite, and knowledgeable, and they keep the homeowner informed at every stage.     Dave is a professional and a pleasure to work with. He’s always in touch, and he’s on the job every day keeping his crew on track. The crew spent a lot of time masking the windows and surrounding areas so there are no drip marks. They sanded the cedar shingles, applied oil based primer and two coats of stain. It was a very professional job. He quoted a competitive price and was very accommodating when it came to the usual last minute changes :-) The house looks great! Thank you Dave!!

    Great, A+ across the board except for responsiveness to start. They started a few weeks later than they initially told us, but I think thats actually because they are so good and do an outstanding job that they have a lot of business and we saw some delay due to bad weather during the jobs prior. They were on time every day, cleaned up EXTREMELY WELL, were courteous and professional during every interaction, and did a super job. We are so pleased with the results. They are easy to do business with and offered a fair and reasonable price. They took care with our property and caused no damage to anything else surrounding as they accessed the house and grounds. Did I mention they cleaned and tidied every day and we practically couldnt tell they were there during the scraping/sanding phase? So impressed!
