    The main reason that I called CC was that my house has been feeling like it had lots of cold spots. Daniel did a useful assessment of the air flow in my house. He suggested adjusting the air flow pressure and did so. He also suggested that part of my duct work in the basement that comes from the furnace was was too narrow for the current furnace since it was built for an oil-based heating system. I may in future change that portion of the deck work that he was referring to, but for now were hoping that the solution of increasing the flow of heat to the rooms will be effective.

    I had a level 2 EV charger hardwired next to my electrical panel in my garage. I am very pleased with all aspects of my experience. They were responsive, quick to schedule me and completed the job within a couple of days of my initial discussion with them. The job itself took less than 2 hours. I received quotes from 6 electrical companies and Comfort Connection came in with the most competitive offer. If you need a level 2 EV charger installed, I highly recommend this business.

    I put out a call for bids on an HVAC install on Angi, and Comfort Connection was the first one to respond, and Steven came out the next day to have a look at the existing system and put some quotes together. When I was adamant about wanting an all-electric heat pump system, Steven put some quotes together for Mitsubishi Hyper Heat systems, and ultimately came in thousands of dollars cheaper than any of the other quotes I got. I emailed Steven with a few questions on the very cusp of business hours (I was also juggling caring for a six-week-old), and he called me minutes later to talk through the options and allay any concerns—truly above and beyond what I was expecting.When it was time for the actual install, I expected to need to wait weeks-to-months, but Comfort Connection had availability the next week—they ended up installing the heat pump and air handler over two days, including some fiddly electrical and line routing work in the attic. Everyone involved in the installation was courteous and professional, and weve been enjoying rock-solid, worry-free performance ever since.

    THIS COMPANY IS THE BEST! Ive used Comfort Connection for my last 3 homes for full HVAC renovation. Steve the owner is amazing, incredibly smart, easy to work with, and Ive always felt like I can fully trust him and his team. They do EXCELLENT WORK. Steve was able to strategically and creatively get HVAC ducting through our last house remodel in our home built in 1909. I highly recommend them and they are the only company I work with when it comes to Furnace/AC and HVAC.

    4 stars due to price only. The tech was great, listened to what I knew and had done to try to get it going, quickly diagnosed the problem. He dug deep in a service vehicle that isnt his normal rig and found the part, installed it and it fired right up. My only complaint is that for a pretty short service visit, the work and one condenser cost $175 over the $150 service call charge. I know prices are obscene now, but Im not getting used to it.

    Comfort Connections is the best! We had trouble with our AC and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working. Daniel was able to figure out why our AC wasn’t working and was able to fix the issue for us.     I spoke to Steven about my electrical needs and he was so easy and friendly. Turned out he and his wife lived in Hawaii too and we just had this great conversation about where we lived on Oahu and restaurants and by the. time we were done I was just about to invite him and his wife for dinner, LOL.His son Justin came out to put in a new wall outlet for my electric fireplace, and a dedicated outlet in my craft room so Id stop tripping the breaker every time I turned the iron on. He talked to me first about my options for placement and explained how he would be doing everything before starting. Having dealt with many contractors, plumbers and electricians who promised good work and didnt deliver, Comfort Connection was a pleasant surprise.I told him my furnace was pretty old and would need to be replaced and he didnt even try to sell me on doing it right away. He just said when I was ready to give them a call.I was leaving for an appointment and asked if he could close the garage door when he left and apologized because it wasnt working and we had to do it manually. When I got home my partner told me Justin had fixed it!!!! WHAT??? Who does that? He didnt even charge us.Comfort Connection will be my go to for all my electrical and plumbing needs.

    Steven and Austin did an outstanding job for me last summer. My heat pump went kaput and after getting several estimates that seemed very high ($12,000 plus) I got a recommendation from a friend and Steven came right out, gave me an estimate that was thousands lower, explained the heat pump vs a/c option and then Austin installed my new heat pump. I was very happy camper and when an issue came up later that had nothing to do with heat pump, Austin checked it out. Admittedly there were some mixed communications but all ended well. Highly recommend.

    A fantastic experience! Steven was kind and friendly, he showed up to our appointment on time, walked with me around the building where I wanted to add heating/cooling, and asked lots of questions. He then sent me a proposal the next day - one of the other contractors took 10 days to get a proposal to me. Stevens proposal was clear and well thought out and was the lowest cost for the project. The installers showed up on time, were neat and tidy with their work and did an excellent job installing the heat pump, 2 mini splits, and the required electrical.     My name is Mark W. In colton or. Got a good deal on a mini split system on line for my new addition. The big problem was no one would help me hook it up. Thay all only install there own modes, not on bought on line. One of my last hope calls was to comfort connection expecting the same run around. Steven the owner said , no problem, he would send a fella over who specialized in there installs, Scott, on his day off to get her done. A fair price & a few hours & I was set.     When it came time to upgrade from an oil furnace to a high-efficiency gas furnace, we contacted three businesses for bids. One of those businesses was Comfort Connection. The owner, Steven Conner, came out to our house not once but twice in advance of giving us an estimate. Ours was a complicated job (relocating the furnace, adding duct work, installing a separate unit upstairs to heat and cool a largely-uninsulated area) and he wanted to make sure he had a complete understanding of the job. His attention to detail was impressive; it really felt to me like he was treating this job as if he were working on his own home. Even with all the time he invested AND recommending a higher-capacity unit for the upstairs, Steven’s bid was a good deal less than the other two bids we received. We went with Comfort Connection. The excellent service and attention to detail continued once Steven and his team began work on our house. Everyone was polite and professional, and Steven was very hands-on throughout the process. They also did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. We are very happy we went with Comfort Connection.

    Im a Layman when it comes to anything HVAC and my AC inexplicably went out in the dead of the summer. These guys came out the same day I called to take a look. Within 2 minutes of looking at the unit Cody had diagnosed the problem (shot compressor) and within 10 minutes he had a new one installed. He stuck around to do thorough testing once it was up and running and then spent time giving me ideas and advice on issues Ive been having heating my house while we waited to make sure the AC wouldnt kick out right away again. He was really great honestly, very helpful, really down to earth and positive. Highly recommend.

    I want to add to the list of happy customers here. Id used Comfort Connection to replace my gas furnace about five years ago, so when it was time to hook up the A/C, I knew I wanted to work with them again due to the fair prices and good service that I remembered. When the furnace had been installed, they had given me the option to have the furnace be A/C ready. I had taken that option, so adding the heat pump and wiring was just $4,500. I felt this was a totally reasonable deal and didnt even bother to get another estimate.The A/C team, Scott and Troy, came out to install the heat pump for the A/C, took great care to install it in a way that would look as attractive as possible given my limited options for placement. Honestly, it turned out so much nicer than I expected! But as they were wrapping up the job an about to connect to the electrical panel in my basement, Scott noticed evidence of smoke in my electrical panel.Sure enough. And then later, you could see where things had melted. Ack! Not what a homeowner wants to see or deal with, but the alternative is the potential for a house fire.Comfort Connection also has Steves son Justin as the companys electrician. He saw pictures of the issue that Scott had flagged and said that it was unsafe and that he could install a new electrical panel with a surge protector the next day. All for a reasonable price. He also looked at various electrical questions I had about my old 1927 house, which gave me ideas for upgrading various two-prong, ungrounded outlets.The next day, as Justin was replacing the panel, he showed me more evidence of melting and unfortunately, that the main line coming in from the street was kind of disintegrating. Again, not what I was hoping to hear, but glad that I found out this way rather than through a house fire. Justin immediately called PGE to get a sticker put on my house because wed now have to relocate the power box (Im sure the term is wrong--but the box that the power from the street comes into on your house). PGE came out within a couple of hours, posted the green power box sticker, and then connected with Justin about disconnecting and reconnecting the power the next day so that Justin could move the box and then got on with installing the new panel.Justin showed up at 6:15am the next day to get this all done. My power had been out since 11am the day before, and it was 32 degrees outside. He and Scott, with proper disconnect and reconnect of the main power got everything done by 5pm that night. It was a long day for those guys, and they were super polite, even asked for a mat to not track dirt down into my carpeted basement. Then they clean up nicely downstairs. And... a big deal... they went through the entire house and outlets an labeled that electrical panel (which was a mystery in its previous incarnation--it was always guesswork to figure out what switch did what). All this is to say that this crew, from Steve who gave the original A/C estimate, to Scott and Troy how nicely place and wired/plumbed the heat pump, to Justin and Scott who made this house feel safe again... well, you couldnt hope for a better experience. And their prices are totally reasonable if not lower, I suspect, than that of others. So thanks you guys. And a thanks too to their people who do the scheduling and invoicing--they were always pleasant and helpful on the phone! An all around good experience.Note that pictures with wires are from before the new panel and rewiring took place. Closeups of wires are showing where it was damage.     Could not recommend Steven and his team enough for the phenomenal service they provided. Steven was knowledgeable and thorough when he walked through his recommendations and took the time and attention to detail in his proposal. He was very personable and professional and it really showed he cared about his customers and the work they can provide at an honest price.Austin and Cody did a fantastic job installing my furnace, expanding the duct work and putting in a replacement coil. Austin went the extra mile making sure all the ducting attached to my room to get decent air flow (first time in 5 years in this house). Cody also did his due diligence to make sure to remove recently installed replacement parts before the old furnace got hauled off. They both did a fantastic job getting the work done quickly (less than 24 hours after our initial call) since my furnace had a crack in the heat exchange and I needed heat ASAP.Professional, honest, responsive, knowledgeable and a team that takes pride in their work.     I took estimates from 4 other vendors for a furnace. Comfort Connection gave me a quote much lower than his competitors and was able to install it promptly the next day only taking 3 hours. He stands by his product. I was very grateful to find Comfort Connection as I signed with a company that gave me a bid $1500 higher but then they could not install as agreed a week later. I had previously been without heat for a week so was not happy. However, I am very happy to recommend Comfort Connection.

    The service could not have been better. Steve was very informative and delivered everything he promised. We signed the proposal on a Thursday and Austin and Sergy arrived 4 days later first thing Monday morning. They had replaced our old furnace and installed a new A/C system by Monday evening. The ducting and electrical work looked great and the price was 30% under the other estimates we got, plus we actually got a larger 3 ton A/C unit where the other estimates were for 2.5 ton. Not only that, every other company said it would be at least 6-8 weeks before they could install. Highly recommended!

    Stupid Murphys Law: you need an appliance to work properly, and thats right when it fails. Our (original to our mid-1980s house) furnace chose to crap out as last weeks temperature took a downward turn. Monday around noon I invested some time reading google and yelp reviews. Finally, I called Steven Conner at Comfort Connection. Steven came over later that same day, examined the old furnace, diagnosed the issue, and painstakingly explained why wed be feeding our money to the garbage bin to attempt its repair.My spouse and I opted for a new furnace, and Stevens team swept in the following day. Cody and Steffen worked with pleasant promptness, efficiency, and peerless workmanship. They explained things as they went, but never abused the time spent talking with me, and left the work area when finished Wednesday in a state cleaner than it was before their arrival Tuesday afternoon. The best part: the furnace and (added/badly needed) new hot water heater are perfectly installed. Each of the connecting elements are tidily assembled and arranged. It isnt often Im pleased to have to abruptly spend thousands of bucks on household appliances, but Ive already wandered downstairs many times to admire them. (Swoon?)Great experience all around.     This company is the real deal, folks! When you wake up to a freezing house and broken furnace, what you dont want to hear is that it will be a week and $160 for someone to even step in your house to take a look. And yet, thats what we heard from several of the larger HVAC servicers out there. I looked for a closer, smaller company and found Steven through all the great reviews which are totally accurate. Not only did he fit me in the same day for a diagnosis, not only did he not charge me for that visit, not only did he save me apx. $900 through various credits and warranty negotiations on broken parts that he undertook on my behalf without me asking or having to lift a finger, but he also had a brand new furnace installed within 24 hours of my call at a price that was easily $1500 less than the competition. Let this team take care of you with honesty, integrity and great service!

    My air conditioner broke on a 105 degree day. Steven sent Corey out the same day to repair it. Corey was prompt,efficient and knowledgeable and fixed the three part repair in no time.     This company really saved us when another company left us hanging. Gave us a huge price break compared to the other company and did the AC install weeks faster than anyone else would around town. My husband researched a ton of companies before landing on this one, and they didnt disappoint. The install guys, Austin and Cody, did beautiful thorough work and they were so respectful, charming, and sweet to our dog...which is always a huge plus.     This past week, my furnace stopped working. I called Comfort Connection and Steve came out that afternoon to take a look at it. After trying everything he could to salvage the existing furnace, he broke it to me that I would have to replace it. He took the time to show me exactly what was wrong, what he had tried to do and what needed to be done. Steve was back at my house the next day and replaced my furnace within 24 hours. Even better, he did it below the price he quoted me! He is a kind man, who goes above and beyond for his clients. He made a terrible, stressful situation manageable and fixed it in record time. I cant thank Comfort Connections enough!! Thanks Steve!!

    I moved in to a new home where the HVAC ducts were badly designed by the original builder. The existing AC/Furnace was 20+ years old, in working order but due for replacement. There was hardly any air blowing out of the vents in the first floor, thanks to the bad layout of the ducts. While I wanted to replace the HVAC system, I was quite sure that the investment would not make any difference unless the ducts were re-routed or re-installed. I called up several HVAC companies in the area. Most of them wouldnt work on ducts, they were happy making a profit selling a new ac/furnace - duct work, for them, was low margin and too much work. I, then, found Steve from Comfort Connection. He was the only one that said he wouldnt touch my HVAC system until he is able to fix the issue with the ducts. Without making any promises on when or whether he would bid for the work, he made a visit to my home along with his son and spent almost 90 minutes mapping out all the ducts in the crawlspace and figuring out what needed to be done. At that point, I could have decided to abandon the project and Steve wouldnt have made a single penny for the time they spent diagnosing the problem.Two days later, Steve gave me a plan of what he intends to do and the cost. I dont think i would have found anybody that would do this for a cheaper cost. Steve uses bryant equipment and makes every effort to sell a system that provides the best bang for the buck. Dont expect him to sell a $5000 system when a $3000 system would do the job. I signed the contract the same day and returned it back to him. A few days later he called to inform the day/time his team will be at the work site.At about 9 am, two people landed with the new equipment and they were joined by 2 more people and Steve himself. At one point there were 5 people working on the project. New ducts were laid for the first floor rooms as well as new vents. The old ducts were sealed off and a new furnace/AC was installed. All in one day. It was about 8 hours of work with 4 to 5 people and when the team left, they left no indication of them having been there - everything was so tidy! They could rob a bank without leaving a trace, just kidding!Here is the thing - Steves company is a small family business. His son-in-law and son work as part of his team and have great workmanship. So is the rest of his team. They respect you and your home. Steve takes all the calls himself - he doesnt seem to have someone to schedule things for him. So he is a bit hard to reach over the phone and things seem a little disorganized when it comes to scheduling. But thats an insignificant penalty to pay.This is a guy that doesnt sell a furnace or an AC, he sells a solution. This makes a huge difference, at least it did to me! More importantly, he and his team seem to love their job and want to do the best they can. Steve gives a quote and sticks to it, no matter what it took to finish the job to his satisfaction.My neighbors have the same problem with the effectiveness of their HVAC system as I thanks to the ducts, and have been impressed with the work Steve and his team did at our house. Im guessing hell get calls from my neighbors next spring.By the way Its been 5 months since the system was installed. Everything works great!

    My HVAC died the Sunday before the hottest day on record. I called 16 people from google, 4 from Craigslist, no one answered, much less helped. Steven and his team not only answered, they came out the next day to check it out and try to repair, but it was DoA (25 years old, not surprised), and 2 days later they showed up and replaced it. The installers were great, courteous, helpful, and fast. Steven called after to follow up and give me instructions, and my house has been 68 degrees ever since.     I never write a review so this is a big deal for me. I had a few things that needed be done in my house. I searched and looked at different companies and got quotes. At every step of of this process Comfort Connection was at the top. They are honest and they are not out there to take advantage of you.They quoted a fair price, much lower than the others. However the workmanship, the attention to work and the care to our home was excellent. They checked our air conditioner and made recommendations and gave options as it is an older unit. Justin installed a ceiling fan in our bedroom and a chandelier in our dining room. He is a master electrician and it shows. I will always go back to them. This is a great company.

    Very good service....This company really cares about its customers. I needed to have Comfort Connection check on my air conditioner , which was not working all the time and replace my thermostat. Steve found out that I needed to replace a part in the unit itself. Lucky for me he had the part with him at the time and installed the new part. Now I have air conditioner that works and a brand new Thermostat.     Steven and his crew did a great job installing my AC and Furnace a few years back, and even revisited the project twice now (once due to low refrigerant) and again to diagnose some freezing coils (air filter/duct issue).Steven is quick to figure out what the best solution is for your situation, and he and his crew are good at diagnosing issues.They were all extremely helpful and were able to help onsite as quickly as the next day when I needed help, which I didnt expect since HVAC is in high demand in my area.Would highly recommend them!

    About 10 days ago a different company came to service me old oil furnace. They told me they would no longer be about to service my oil furnace after this time since as a company they were no longer offering the service. They then proceeded to tell me I needed new furnace and repairing it was not worth it. 24 hours later or stopped working and they provided a $25,000 replacement quote. I decided to get additional quotes and Steven from Confort Connections sold me with his amazing price (more than half the price) and personality. He moved things around to start on my project going since I no longer had heat! His crew was amazing and got things done quickly and efficiently! They also were able to let me use my Google Nest bey calling Google to program it with the new system. This may not seem like a big deal, but it was a little thing showing they cared. That other company said they werent willing to do that!Comfort Connections went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of! And best of all, I have central air now!

    Mid day on December 23rd Comfort Connection made time to diagnose my broken gas furnace. By noon on Christmas eve Stefan & Sergey had a new unit installed and heating my home.     -STOP SEARCHING AND GO WITH COMFORT CONNECTION!-Just as Portland was heading into a week of heat in the high 90s, our central A/C unit decided it was done; on the Friday of 4th of July weekend! We have cats and birds, so we needed to get the temperature regulated as soon as possible. We began calling around and hoping for a miracle on such short notice. It seemed that everyone was booked 2 weeks out, or wanted $200 for an emergency bid.A family member sent us the contact information for Steven, at Comfort Connection, and he came out THAT MORNING! He was hoping to be able to tell us it would be a simple fix, but the unit was very old and I wasnt expecting it to be; he let us know the cost of fixing VS cost of replacing. He said if we wanted, he could have his team out by Tuesday morning and replace the unit, and thats exactly what he did!His team was very nice, thorough, and knew exactly what they were doing. When they finished, they cleaned up perfectly and headed to rescue another home.I cant thank Steven, and his team, enough for fitting us in on such short notice; and doing so at such a great price!

    The job was to replace my very old and failing Air Conditioner and Furnace with a new system.The process started when I called Steven Conner of Comfort Connection for an estimate, and we talked about the basics of what I needed done. We also talked about some of the options that were available and what I might want. Steven made himself very available over the phone as I had questions, once even over the weekend. Once I had a rough idea of what I was interested in, he came out for a written estimate. Since we had talked on the phone beforehand, this process went pretty quickly and he soon had the written estimate to me via email. Later, I decided to make a change to the original estimate, so he worked with me via phone and had the modified estimate out to me shortly. I will also mention that Steven worked with me on the system price and modifications that I wanted, and the price came out very reasonable.I have to say that I was lucky, as his crew was doing an installation in the area very shortly after I sent back the approved estimate and Steven called me to see if it was a good time to do my installation also. Things went in pretty quickly, although his crew ran into some issues with the base of the old furnace, since the garage concrete had apparently been poured after the original furnace was installed. However, his crew worked around this issue, installed the furnace, the line set, and readied the A/C unit for installation. Since furnace installation took longer than expected due to the garage concrete issue, they needed to come back the next day to complete the A/C installation. The crew tested the furnace before they left and the furnace worked well and looked good (very professional), in case I needed it overnight. The next morning, the crew came back to vacuum the lines and finish the A/C installation. That went pretty quickly. Everything was up and running by midday.After completion, everything is working very well, and the modifications that I wanted are also installed and working. I like to sleep in a lower temperature, and the new system brings the house down to that temperature with no problem! Everything looks very professional and much better than the old system. I will also mention that the work areas were left very clean, even better than when they started.It was a pleasure to work with Steven and his crew and I would highly recommend them.
