Micah is very knowledgeable and highly recommended! He explained to me during a service call that my 11 kw Generac unit that was installed in 2018 by another vendor (who we trusted at the time) was not large enough to handle our home and that we needed a 24 kw. We are so glad Micah was able to get this straightened out for us and now we feel confident that our house is setup correctly should we have a power outage. -

Micah and his team from Lohrum Electrical installed the solar panels and related equipment at our home. Our process took a long time to resolve some zoning issues and align the pole barn construction. Micah and Lohrum Electrical stuck with us through the whole ordeal and we couldnt be happier with our results. Our solar system now generates as much electricity as we use and we expect to end our first year with some credit from the utility as a result. Micahs expertise and experience in the solar technology and product selection proved very helpful to us as we navigated decisions such as whether to install batteries for storing excess electricity; which panels we best for right sizing our installation and thoughtfully planning for evolving the system as technology advances. In addition to designing and installing our solar system Lohrum Electrical also wired our pole barn and once again they helped us make good decisions on the design and implementation of the lighting in the garage bays, exterior lighting, and outlet placement. If you are considering adding solar to your home I can heartily endorse Lohrum Electrical as a high-quality, professional and honest partner in your project. -

Lohrum Electrical installed solar panels and a Generac for Jacksons Nursery. With an underground electrical connection, a barn now receives electric from the solar panels on the office building. Micah answers questions about our equipment promptly. He checked our Generac prior to the Christmas Freeze of 2022 to be sure that it would function properly if we had a power failure. Thank you for great service, even after the installation! -

Searched around for Solar Energy installers for a long time. All of them seemed really expensive and then I found Lohrum Electric. I had met Micah Lohrum about 7 years earlier at a seminar in Batesville Indiana and I was really impressed with his knowledge and passion for Solar Power. We had asked for a quote at that time but did not have the finances to proceed.I’m happy to say that our Solar installation is complete and everything works fine. The price had not changed much from 7 years ago (at least his didn’t) and what a great job he and his crew have done.Thank you Micah. -

The Solarize Indiana local group that I chaired in 2017-2019 to facilitate installation of solar panels in Southeast Indiana chose Lohrum Electrical, LLC for its sole installation company over other competitors. Micah Lohrum’s installation group rates to homes and businesses were among the lowest. Despite that “perc,” the company’s reputation and experience were outstanding. Also Lohrum’s ten-year workmanship warranty backed up his reputation as the electrician to hire for this work. Besides offering skilled workmanship, Lohrum’s personal relationship with customers while they were exploring their options was noteworthy.During my years of working with Lohrum, I saw why he was the chosen contractor even before I met him. All of the 33 homeowners and two businesses that did install solar panels through the group rates negotiated by Solarize Indiana were most pleased with Lohrum’s work.Micah Lohrum went above and beyond the guidelines that Solarize Indiana set forth for its selected contractors.
