    We would like to thank Affordable Interiors for our beautiful kitchen. We were hesitant in redoing our kitchen because our home interior is all cedar. In our mind it would be too difficult to blend new cabinets with existing cedar. So we put it off for 20 years. We had a good feeling after our first visit with the owner Nick and designer. After the initial visit, the entire process was well orchestrated from design and selection of colors/hardware to measurements, demo, buildout and completion. Everyone involved from beginning to end were friendly and professional. They sincerely listened to what we wanted and addressed any concerns we may of had. Affordable Interiors developed a written schedule and never deviated from that schedule without talking to us first. A special thanks to Nick, Adam, Matt, Dave, Kim, Vilius, the demo team, electricians, plumber including the drywall team and the tile man for their attention to detail and quality of work. Working with this company and team was a great experience and we highly recommend!!!!!

    We had been talking about remodeling our kitchen for several years. We looked at many places and just didn’t feel comfortable until we met Nick. He showed us options we had not thought of, and he had all the various tradesmen needed to complete the job. It turned out better than we could have ever hoped. The process was easy and the quality is outstanding. We went from a 1980’s dated kitchen with very little storage and working space to a very contemporary kitchen with more cabinets than I can fill! (At the moment!).

    Affordable Interiors was great to work with for electrical work to replace our gas stove with an induction range. They also did more tiling above the range and did some custom cabinet work that blends in well with our existing fixtures.They were quick, friendly, well-priced and did excellent work. Cant ask for more than that! Would definitely use them again in the future.

    Affordable Interiors is the place to go if you need ideas for tiling your kitchen or bathrooms. We thought we knew what type of tile and color would work best for backsplashes in our kitchen and primary bathroom. When we met with Kimberly at Affordables showroon she listened to our ideas, presented countless samples of tile types, colors and designs. Her expertise was very beneficial which helped us narrow down our choices. She showed us how choosing a grout color can alter the look and feel of a wall that is tiled. Grout color does make a difference! Kimberly also answered our questions and provided helpful insights about the installation. Kimberly is knowledgeable, personable and it was so easy to share ideas with her. We highly recommend making an appt. with Kimberly. Also noteworthy is Omar who installed the tile in our kitchen and bathroom. He is meticulous and plans his work by laying out multiple tiles in the design that we specified. This ensured that the design and color of tile was confirmed by him and us. As Omar worked, he continuously measured and consulted with us to make minor adjustments to corners or angles. He was personable, very thorough and worked consistently during his scheduled days with us. All discarded tile material, boxes and debris were hauled away by Omar. No mess, just beautiful tile work left behind to admire by a skilled craftsman. Thank you, Kimberly! Thank you, Omar! Affordable Interiors is awesome!

    Affordable Interiors did a great job in helping us select cabinets, knobs/handles, and countertop. Carpenters did a wonderful job in redoing soffit. Then drywall was done perfectly. We are very satisfied with Adam and Nick at Affordable who coordinated everything.

    We needed a complete kitchen redesign because we removed walls and had a whole new space. We went to a few places for design ideas and Adam came up with a design we instantly loved. He stayed within budget and was great to work with. Adam was always easy to get a hold of with questions and was quick to make adjustments to our plan as needed. We had our own contractors (who said the cabinets were of great quality) that Adam worked with to make sure measurements were on par and even came to the house during cabinet installation to check in and see how things were going. It was overall a great experience and we plan on using Affordable Interiors for future projects!

    We just finished a small remodeling job with Affordable Interiors (we did some work to open up the space between our living room and kitchen). My husband and I are so pleased with the communication and work completed. Breanna, Nick, Dave, Alex - the team we worked with at various stages from start to finish, were all amazing. Out of the four businesses we talked with, they were not the cheapest nor the most expensive. We decided to go with the team due to responsiveness, level of detail, as well as price. You really get great quality work and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The project may not have been the most complex but they didnt make us feel silly for any questions asked or didnt hesitate to provide suggestions where we probably didnt have the best idea going into the project. They definitely did great quality work and finished everything under the estimated time quoted! They cleaned up after themselves really well which we really appreciated. We will definitely consider them for future interior remodeling projects and have already recommended them to a couple other friends looking to start home projects in the future. Thank you!

    Bre and Nick were a joy to work with. I’ve done some some small remodel projects, but this bathroom renovation was beyond my skills. They did the work quickly, correctly and always with a smile. Each tradesman that came to work on my house was courteous and an excellent craftsman. I would ask questions, they always answered honestly. I hope to use them again for a kitchen project.

    Amber and team at Affordable Interiors were amazing throughout our entire project! We went in knowing what we didn’t like with our kitchen and Amber helped to design us a kitchen of our dreams that works perfectly in our space. Amber was always extremely responsive and attentive to our needs and questions. The communication throughout the entire project was outstanding. During renovation, Nick was always easy to reach and very helpful with any questions we had. The quality of work, from design to implementation, surpassed every expectation that we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better final product and will definitely look to use Affordabale Interiors again with any future projects.

    Affordable Interiors just finished our basement, and we love it! Nick is great to work with—easy-going, accommodating, and quick to follow up on any questions or concerns. His crew created an exercise room with closets and shelves, a full bathroom, TV area, and a minibar with a tiled backsplash and floating shelves. Amber helped coordinate the work schedule and kept us informed of who was coming and what to expect. Best of all, they stayed true to their name. Despite increasing material costs, the whole project came in at a fair and affordable price.

    We worked with Kim on our kitchen and floors. Kim was delightful to work with. She found the perfect backsplash and countertop for us. She was awesome at helping us with our floor stain color.     Nick and his team did an excellent job on several projects at our home and another property we own. From the bathroom and kitchen tile work, to the remodeled staircase with beautiful wrought iron balusters designed by Nick to be perfectly visually balanced and safe, we have been very satisfied. He also removed a wood stove from our sunroom and coordinated all of the roof repairs and drywall work for the ceiling. I am looking forward to working with them again for future projects.

This place has a ton of selection to view in their show room which made it easy to decide what kind of tile to go with. Once we narrowed down the options, Amber ordered samples so that I could take them home to see in my kitchen. The install went great and the process was very painless and smooth.     My kitchen is beautiful. I have been working with Affordable interiors for several years. I have used them at my home and also at my business. Long before the store in Grayslake opened. All my projects have been done to perfection. They always get my vision. It usually turns out better then what I asked for. I won’t be able to enjoy the kitchen since I sold my place. I am sure the new kitchen was the selling point. Nick is the BEST!!!
