KLT Electric has done several jobs for us over the years. They are always punctual, thorough, and friendly. They take care to clean up after each job. And their subsequent support is amazing. I had an LED can light (one of two they installed) go out just prior to Christmas. They sent out a warranty replacement via courier the next day. When it didn’t exactly match the one it was replacing, they sent out two new, matching units via courier. This is a professional and well-run business. I highly recommend them.

We used KLT Electric as they came as a referral from a neighbor I trust. So happy I did. Understanding the issue, they had time in their schedule to come out shortly after I called. Techs were very knowledgeable and went to work quickly. Assessed the problem with some breakers and fixed those and a few other nagging issues-including one miswiring they identified from initial construction.Chris and Josh were our technicians and I’ve added their names to my notes. I will request them personally next time I need any work done!

What a great job!Ive been in this house for almost 2 years and plagued with electrical issues. When the exterior light circuit failed Id had enough. I called KLT and they sent Jerry and Thomas out to fix it. I suspected the last owner took a lot of short cuts and I was right. I do not write many reviews, but this is a must. First, if you need electrical services, call KLT Electric. I will be as brief as possible. I git a response in 24 hours to a voice message. Justin arrived on-time. I warned him that my house presented challenges. He installed the new light fixture first. After some necessary alterations to the mounting hardware, the light was up and ready to go. Then we discovered that one of the sockets on the fixture was faulty. Instead of saying, Too bad. Thats a manufacturer problem, Justin attempted to fix the socket. When Jerry arrived, he worked on the socket as Justin began working on mounting the ceiling fan.The ceiling fan was another challenge, as the mounting surface was not properly secure. Instead of stopping, Justin and Jerry worked until the mounting area was properly safe and stable. This not a quick process.Jerry then had a part brought to him so that he could fix the light fixture. He fixed it. I was impressed. Suffice to say that there were numerous times that Justin and Jerry (a third young man came by, but I did not catch his name) could have packed up and left, because the challenges were not within the normal purview of the job. They did not. They stayed and worked until the job was done.The price was reasonable, and the service was un-matched. As I said, if you need electrical services, call KLT Electric.

If you need something done right by a business owner and crew who sticks to their word, then you have come to the right place. KLT Electric and the guys that work there, are beyond GREAT! We had an unexpected issue occur at our place of business that houses hospitalized patients and boarders. These amazing guys treated our situation as if it were their own situation and their beloved pets. They wanted us up and running ASAP. I had KLT come out to checked our panel we needed to add another panel and surge protectors and had to have Oncor put in a pole in our yard and we needed to upgrade our meter and the under ground wire. Ken gave us a estimate worked with our insurance adjuster and Oncor explained need and kept us updated on the whole process. Everyone that works for KLT has done a wonderful job.

Kenneth and his tech were not only fast and professional, but when the tech arrived at my Dad’s house, he discovered that the issue was a quick fix, and he only had to be there for a minute. Kenneth was kind enough not to even charge my dad since his house was close by and the fix took a quick breaker flip. They could have taken advantage of my elderly father, but they didn’t. I just wanted to take a minute to say how great KLT electric is. People always talk about the ‘Southlake markup’ but this company is so very honest and priced the right way. I have had several of their team come out to work on a variety of electrical issues in my home, their owner who I think is named Kenneth, is very responsive. Their workers greet you with a smile and are super engaging. Shout out to their staff member, Stephen, who came yesterday to work on issues and was super patient with my 5 year old son who wanted to tell him stories and show off his basketball skills. Great company, and you can tell they take pride in who they hire. Superb service from the top down.

Jerry did an amazing job installing our new outdoor facade lighting. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. He walked me around all of the fixtures after they were installed, making sure the light was cascading up the facade, along the quoins and projecting up on to the cornice exactly the way I wanted it to. (This involved putting extenders on the lights to ensure that they would shine over the wide architectural molding.) He also made sure the conduit that led to the new fixtures matched the color of our house so that it was less noticeable. Jerry really went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased with our new outdoor lighting. I would highly recommend KLT Electric.

We found KLT via a church recommendation. Johnny and Keith are extremely professional. Our dryer will not work and our floodlights were out as well. They diagnosed both and gave us a recommendation for the dryer and replaced the lights the same day (after giving us an option on steps we could take, replace or repair wiring). No price hikes, the rates are good especially for licensed, insured bonded staff. Wed go with them again and would request this team.

Terrific service! Jerry and Tyler spent time hanging two light fixtures yesterday and connected a host of LED lights where the old can lights were in a 16ft ceiling, the result is soft lighting and a clean ceiling look. Half the power in our house went out one day so we needed someone that same day. KLT had someone out that afternoon. They were able to help us to identify that the source of the problem was coming from the outside of the house and explained to us what to tell the power company. It was extremely helpful. We finally were able to get the issue fixed with their help.

Ken (owner), worked with me on two additions to my home (see attached) to design and ensure the results I had in mind. Jerry was the lead electrician throughout the build, remodel and additional few projects we found for them. Ken is a true professional in every sense of the word. Jerry is a tremendous electrician that worked with precision and speed. In addition both are really nice guys. How many vendors can you say are always a pleasure to deal with and exceed your expectations?

I had 2 outside outlets that did not work and one upstairs bathroom outlet not working. It was hard tracking down the one outside outlet but they did find the problem. They keep at it until they solve the problem which is big in my book. They were only here for a hour so they are efficient and fairly priced. We have their card on our Refrig and will use them again if we have future problems. Great job

Forget the rest… We had a number of good electricians take a look at some television wiring we needed to get done at our new house, and though they offered to help, they weren’t sure whether they could get it done. Kenneth is one of the most honest, hard working, dependable people I have ever met in my life. I got estimates from several electricians but Kenneth was the only one who actually pulled the breakers to see why my box was arching. All the others just quoted me a price without knowing what was really wrong. I know in the future if I have any electrical work I need done I dont need to shop around because there is NO better electrician in the metroplex.
