    Great first experience with a great electrical company.Contracted A&M to upgrade electrical system that would support EV charging in additional to the other electrical loads we already have. Upgrade from was a single 200A breaker panel to a new 320A meter base with the original 200A breaker panel (Rewired as a sub-panel) and a new 200A breaker panel in the garage. The work is very clean, communication was consistent and easy, and the finished product was exactly as I had imagined.Would recommend to anyone looking for residential electrical services, especially for EV chargers and EV-service upgrades (if you need it)Pictures attached

    I had A&M come and install a new 20AMP outlet in my basement. It was not the easiest job with how my basement is structured. Jim and his assistant were EXCELLENT!! They were clean when they entered the house with foot covers, courteous and tackeled the job with no problem. I highly recommend A&M Electric for any of your issues!

    Jim and his team were friendly and professional listening to my needs and going above and beyond on my whole house rewire and instalation of a new generator making all my lighting and new switch placements to my preference in an older house and to top off his team his wife Sherry was a pleasure to work with making sure communication and details were followed and his prices were very reasonable I highly recommend this company and they finished ahead of time couldnt be happier with my experience

    Jim Lamb with A&M Electric was responsive and did excellent work at a reasonable price. We experienced a massive electrical failure due to an accident just prior to a holiday weekend. Jim was the only electrician who was willing to help us immediately by restoring electricity to our house prior to a cold snap that could have caused frozen pipes. He detected previous unseen damage caused by the electrical surge when we lost power and he worked well with Ameren to coordinate everything needed to replace our electrical supply box. Finally, he kept us informed every step of the way and did it at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

    I couldn’t be happier. The entire process was quick and easy. A&M upgraded my electrical panel and did some other minor electrical repairs for me.     Had my fridge pop and it stopped working and took out half my kitchen. Resetting the breakers didnt help so I called and was tood to check the GFCI which, sure enough, I had overlooked and ended up being the culprit. Everything is working fine now at the moment. He was super friendly and actually listened to my issue over the phone instead of immediately being like Yeah its $X for a house call. When you want me out? Very professional.

    I called Jim when I had a partial electrical failure, where I could have lost everything in a big deep freezer. Two other electricians Id used previously couldnt get me in for a week to a week and a half. Jim came out that same day, a few hours later, and solved the problem. I was very grateful for his prompt service, especially for a new customer. Will definitely use again in the future.

    The owner of this business was excellent! Jim wired my basement during a renovation and updated the service at a very competitive price, received 4 bids and he was the cheapest in the area. during his time at the house he was very informative on what needed to be done and explained some upgrades to the lighting that we didnt think about.
