My experience with Kemco and its staff has been absolutely top notch. They respond quickly, they are highly skilled and professional and their work is reasonably priced. Five star customer service without question.After Steve came out to do an assessment, he worked hard to get the work needing to be done scheduled quickly. He was keenly aware of the difficulties I was having and how stressful it was. Chris, along with two other staff, came to my home and worked all day long to resolve the electrical issues. They were knowledgeable and professional and made sure Duke Energy arrived to get the power back on after they were finished. They explained everything they were doing along the way. They were even happy to say hello and pet my dog! All of them were polite and respectful of my home. I very much appreciate their quality work and professionalism.Thanks Steve and thanks Kemco! I will be calling on you again to do more work in the future!

As of this morning, a Kemco representative has called me and remediated this cost issue. Id like to post something on the quality of their work, but since Ill never use the outlet that needed to be installed for the city to pass the irrigation inspection, I cant vouch for their quality. I can only attest to the companys responsiveness in rectifying the cost disparity in addition to the politeness of the installer.

Service was top notch. I had 2 HVAC issues: fan wouldnt turn off and AC wouldnt turn on. Tim diagnosed each quickly, got the parts in and repaired everything almost effortlessly. He was very kind and educational about how these issues had arisen so I could recognize problems better in the future. I felt like it was a blessing that he was the one that solved my problem because he didnt make me feel stupid that I hadnt figured it out for myself. I am recommending KemCo to everyone I know.

Duke Energy deals with Kemco regarding ac unit repairs. I was told by Duke Energy that it would probably take 1-2 days before they contacted me to schedule an appointment. However, they responded and scheduled an appointment the same day I contacted Duke Energy.On another note, this technician wasn’t as friendly as other people stated in their reviews. However, he told me the problem with my ac unit and that I’ll eventually need to replace it since it’s an older unit and parts can no longer be ordered for it! Anyways, thank you to the woman who scheduled my appointment today. She was very polite and friendly!

Danny was wonderful. Kemco was quick to respond to our need and was out to our home within a couple hours. Danny was very friendly from the moment I opened the door until he left the driveway. I am a resident of a property that Kemco does lighting and electrical work for. They changed out old antiquated lighting for new LED and very modern and may I say bright lights. As a senior citizen I was so excited to see the change. I feel 100% safer in my home coming and going especially at night. The teams cleaned up after themselves. They were without exception polite and respectful. They even took pride in showing me their shirts with the company name. It has been a very long time since I have seen such teamwork, pride in the work and respect for the property that is their assignment. Please know how well your technicians are doing with no one looking over their shoulders. You should be very proud. Hats off to you and your extraordinary work ethic and excellent work!

Have had a service contract with these guys in the past and they provided the best service on HVAC maintenance. This go around I had some electrical issues to get resolved. I am very happy with the quality of work done and the kindness of the technician.. Prices were within range of estimate given. UPDATE:Chris from Kemco Electric came out today to wire up and rewire for my generator interface today and all I can say is he did not disappoint!ORIGINAL REVIEW: (and still true)Every once in a while, you come across the company who takes care of you so well that you wonder if they’re too good to be true. Let me just tell you that from the receptionist, to scheduling, to the estimate to the text that came out have been top shelf! Steve came out to quote me on my whole house generator, which is yet to be scheduled but also to look at the pool situation. I believe the text name that came out this morning was Chris, and I wanted to give them all a shout out for Their work, ethics and speed and attention to detail. They are fast, courteous, they know what customer care is about, and to watch these guys work today to sniff out my pool house wire that got severed after my fence was put in? They diagnosed it, found it and repaired it all within an hour and a half. I highly recommend this company for all your electrical needs. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a huge job involving electrical and HVAC and we used Kemco for both. The electrical team was prompt, did a fantastic job, and came in right on the estimate. We had some issues communicating with the HVAC team--sometimes didnt get a response to an email for a day or two. The job came in a little over the original estimate. But they worked with us on the bill and ended up charging us for the original estimated price. The work they did was excellent. Overall I get the sense that this is an honest company and does their best to provide quality work at a fair price.

Periodically my home generator needs repairs. Kemco is always there for me with prompt and professional service. This time they repaired it on Wednesday and on Thursday a wind storm came through and the neighborhood was out of power for 7 hours- I was not, thanks to my generator and the excellent repairman!!!I will not use anyone but Kemco. Repair prices are reasonable too.

He was suuuper friendly, and even took his boots off when coming in my house, and was very considerate of my sleeping baby. Literally does not get more hospitable than that. They came out to fix a busted fuse and a broken amp outlet. They did not tell me ahead of coming out that they charge a flat hourly fee of $112. The next day when I went to use the outlet it wasnt working. So I called to have them come out. They charged me another $112 to fix something they said they fixed before. When I called the manager, he fixed things up for me- refunded me for the second charge. Was really grateful for the customer service and understanding.

I realize now, after the electricians had a difficult time installing a light fixture in a bathroom, that this company has very professional people working for it. I was upset with them on the first try, but in my somewhat agitated state, everyone I talked with was calm, collected, and determined to get the job done right. One electrician recommended a more workable fixture, and another one installed it today. I am very impressed with the way they respond and follow up to please the customer.
