    I really canā€™t say enough positive things about Tygart Electric. I got then to install a new Google Nest floodlight/camera at my auntā€™s house, and everything was perfect. I had originally scheduled an installation through Handy.com that came with the floodlight/camera order. That person cancelled on us the day of, and I am very glad because then it brought me to Tygart Electric. They were able to fit me in for an appointment the same week, and sent out two experienced and pleasant technicians. They actually realized that the existing wiring had some issues, and devised a plan to correct it within minutes. They also found a live wire in the attic that posed a serious hazard and were able to correct that for us on the spot. All of this took about 90 minutes. They were efficient, very friendly, honest, and kept us informed every step of the way. Above all, their work was flawless, and the floodlight looks like it has been there forever - and was absolutely something I could not have done on my own! I found their pricing to be quite reasonable given the services provided by two skilled electricians. While it wasnā€™t some discount or knock-off service, the price I paid was well within the range of what it should be. Furthermore, they were very open and transparent about all costs from beginning to end. There were no hidden fees, and they gave me the cost right down to the penny before they did anything. They accept credit cards, and I was able to pay on the spot, which I liked because I donā€™t really use cash/checks anymore. It was top-notch, 100% professional all the way! They have certainly earned some customers for life with my family, and itā€™s wonderful to know we have such a great company right in our town!

    Today, Adam and Jason returned to fix the ceiling fixture that had broken yesterday when they were here working on multiple problems in our home. Not only did they make sure that the measurement was correct for the ceiling fixture but they sought our approval when picking up the ceiling light to replace the one that had broken. Their work was efficient, neat, and the end product was excellent! Weā€™re very happy.     Great experience. They were able to install our EV charger within a day or so of calling them. Isaiah and Devon were very professional and made sure the install was as clean looking as possible as well as fully tested. They even installed an access panel to make it easier to access wiring for future work.

    Like to thank Tygart Electric for professional service. We needed a 50 amp RV service box replaced and weā€™re having a hard time finding an electrician in our rural area. Found Tygart through a search and weā€™re glad we did. The representative answered all our questions, set up an appointment, and we were able to text photos of the work needed done. They were responsive with a quote and provided text reminders of the appointment.The electrician was Isaiah and he did a great job. The electrical box itself from the vendor was actually a poor design. It would allow for the lid to close since there wasnā€™t a big enough cut out for the 50 amp cord and 110 cord. Isaiah was able to alter the box which let the lid securely close. We couldnā€™t have been happier with our decision to go with Tygart!

    This is a full review of a two visit encounter regarding the same issue. Originally I was thinking in rating a zero or one star with my first experience, however the second one was soo satisfying thatā€™s why I canā€™t rate it with a full five stars. For context, I had purchased a brand new dryer, however it wouldnā€™t turn on when plugging it into the outlet. I reached out to Tygart electric and they sent a couple of gentleman to check it out. They advised of the $70 fee for arrival in addition to fixing the outlet/cable issue would be $270. They replaced the dryer cable thatā€™s supposed to connect to the outlet expecting that would solve the issue which didnā€™t. With that being said they advised the dryer was the problem and not the cables. With that being said given they hadnā€™t fixed anything I asked if they would still charge me the $270, they did! I felt like I had to pay for nothing. To make matters worse when I addressed this, one of the electricians remarked that I at least knew what the problem was. This comment actually infuriated me, so their logic was to waive the arrival fee ($70) however would still charge me $270 plus taxes coming up to $300. I donā€™t know about most people but no one has $300 to drop/spend for absolutely no results. With that being said I had gotten a new replacement dryer and it still wouldnā€™t turn on, reinforcing that the issue stemmed from the cables not the dryer. I called Tygart a second time and they advised of the arrival charge and wanted to schedule a week in the future. The representative I spoke with addressed my concerns as I had mentioned the whole ordeal. They scheduled my appointment the following day and with no additional charges. New electricians showed up thankfully Devon and Isiah. These two gentleman were phenomenal! They came on time and spent less than an hour on fixing the cables which were indeed the issue. I was very upset and planning on leaving a scathing review, however planned on waiting to see the issue resolved before making any remarks. I would have loved for the first electricians to do their due diligence as not only did they waste everyoneā€™s time but also had me get a replacement dryer. Linda the representative on the phone, Devon and Isiah the electricians all deserve a huge shoutout. They made a horrible experience and fixed it without breaking a sweat! If you get to this part I would suggest requesting these two gentleman by name as theyā€™re truly the A team!

    I cant say enough good things about this company. We needed quite a few electrical jobs done around our house and I wouldnt trust anyone else to do it but Tygart Electric. I sent an email inquiry and they were very quick to respond to all my questions. JR came out to get the work done and he was fantastic. Very thorough, knowledgeable, and made sure to ask questions along the way to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. I couldnt be happier with their services!

    2 men came to the house, very professional looking,clean and courteous. Both wore ID badges. They were upfront with the price and were able to get the job done the same day. I felt they were very competent. The downside was the price was expensive and they do try to sell other services the company offers. Not high pressure though

    The two technicians (Adam and Isaiah I believe) were extremely courteous and respectful of my home and cats from the minute they arrived. They made sure I was fully informed about all costs and raised some concerns they had with other things we had not called them about. They didnā€™t touch anything beyond what I had agreed to pay/have fixed and made sure I understood what else I would need for repairs. Their pricing options were reasonable for the work done and the work took hardly any time.

    Ben and Adam were awesome, friendly, communicative technicians. They got along well with my skittish dog and made sure the job was done in one day. They also cleaned up after themselves, which in my experience, is not common with maintenance and repair companies. If their boss is reading this, please give them a raise! my only suggestion to future customers is to ask for an appointment first thing in the morning so your appointment isnā€™t crowded out by projects that take longer than expected. This happened with my first appointment, but I was able to reschedule for a couple days later. Highly recommend this company and Ben specifically.

    We had the front of our house lose power due to a faulty wire. Other repairs included issues with 2 other outlets indoors and outdoors. They came for a fee to reserve them, then an overall fee to assess the situation that includes basic repairs cost. In no time they were done and everything works the way it should. Will be using them again.

    If I could give the team 10 stars I would!! Travis, Ben and the rest of the team are amazing! Travis took the time to come to the house and answer all my questions before giving me the quote. The craftsmanship they exhibited was 2nd to none. They treated my house as it was their own. The customer service and pride in their work really shined through. If you are considering an electrical contractor, look no further! I plan on using Tygart Electric in the near future to install a home generator and some interior lighting.     I called Tygart Electric to get electrical service to my property. I meet Travis at the property and he explained in detail what needed to be done. Travis is very knowledgeable and responsive. He gave me a quote on getting the work done and inspected. A couple weeks later the work is completed and the final invoice was right on. Very fair price and they will be doing more work for me in the future. Very trustworthy, witch is hard to come by.

    Issue with partial outage which I assumed was on my end. No heat or major appliances over weekend. Tygart Electric was very nice and got someone there ASAP. They told me a time they would arrive and were actually early. That was a huge plus! Ben, the technician, was extremely polite, professional and friendly. Hes checked things and after awhile determined the problem was actually on the power companys side. Ben suggested and arranged for me to only be charged for a service call even though he was jere for some time, which I cant express how much I appreciated. I would definitely recommend Tygart Electric to anyone. I had a great experience!

    Very friendly and professional, neat and tidy. These guys really are great. I have a large two story house with an attic and basement built in 1915, brick and plaster construction. The wiring was a huge job but Tygart tackled it with no problem. My entire house was rewired from the utility pole to the new 200 amp service and then to every single light and outlet for reasonable cost. My kids and dogs love Wes, Zach, and Joel. Cant say enough good things about them.

    Zach knows his stuff and was very easy to work with. Our house is a 50 year old farmhouse, so some of the wiring had been installed creatively over the years. He had no problem crawling around figuring things out, and got things working as they should. We will be using Tygart again, for a large job coming up.Update:Tygart just got through with running power out to a 2-car garage outbuilding. Ben and Isaiah had to install a separate meter and panel since the main house was at full capacity. Also installed 9 outlets all over, including in the 10ft ceiling. Great workmanship and on time, as always with these folks!

    Zach W. and Joel have worked at my house for three days so far on a very large house project. They have been very professional, knowledgeable and are hard workers. They are conscientious and cleanup their work area. Today they stayed very positive and professional under some difficult circumstances as well as dealing with the oppressive heat. They still have a lot of work to complete at my house next week and I am confident that the quality of their work and competence they have demonstrated so far will continue through the completion of the project.So Zach and Joel have now completed the work on my four story home that is over 100 years old. Each level presented its own unique electrical and structural challenges. Zach W. and Joel handled every situation. They were prompt and professional. Quality work and safety is their top priority.     I was put in touch with Tygart Electric after purchasing an electric vehicle that came with a free Q Merrit install. After reviewing photos of my panel, Travis gave me a call telling me that my panel was full and mentioned options that included combining existing outlets or installing a sub-panel. After doing some testing, I found one unconnected breaker and two light load breakers that could be combined to make room for the 240v 50 AMP receptacle. After booking the install, there was a scheduling conflict on their end but Travis went out of his way to resolve it and keep the install to the same day. The level of communication and professionalism was more than I would ask for. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone seeking electrician services.

    I took advantage of an offer that Tigard made in May for a free electrical safety inspection, knowing that I had some electrical work that I wanted to have done. Safety inspection was spot on, and I was impressed with their people. I asked Tygart to provide an estimate to replace my main panel with a larger one, and to install a high voltage outlet that could be used to charge an electric vehicle. I thought the estimate was reasonable, and scheduled for them to do the work. The crew they sent, led by Elijah, were all knowledgeable and went about the work in a professional and timely manner. They were a pleasure to have around, even when they encountered some challenges to their original plan. If I have additional electrical work I need to have done Tygart will be the first company that I think of, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.
