I have used this firm on two occasions to address electrical deficiencies at my 1910-built home in Pasadena. The first time was to replace a bad breaker in our panel which they did by replacing it, but also relocating it to a different position (the bus bar in the original location was part of the problem). On the second occasion I had an outside outlet I had trouble with. They pointed out that the original installation was not actually outdoor rated and not only fixed the outlet, but also installed and properly wired an outdoor rated junction box and cover.On both occasions all of the problems and all of the proposed repairs were discussed in advance of the work, with the final decision about what to do was left up to me (in all cases that decision was to do the repair correctly and remove any risk from improperly installed materials from the house’s past).On both occasions the assigned electrician was Ara and his helper Henry. They were, at all times, very professional, respectful, and informative. I am very pleased with my experiences with SDS Electric and plan to use them again in the future.

The entire team is extremely professional. Theyve been dealing with a lot of site management problems at my home, and they have been extremely patient throughout the process.Things that were out of their control ended up directly impacting their timelines, and they took it as best in stride as anyone can if youre a small business owner whose time is literally money.The more time they spend on my jobsite with a firm, fixed-price contract, the less money Josh and his team make for themselves and their families.I find their pricing to be very fair given the high quality of their work. Electrical is not something I would want to cut corners on.

We had a problem with a circuit breaker that kept tripping and caused an electricity outage to our tankless water heater, no hot water for shower! We had SDS service some time ago at a different house. This time SDS again responded promptly on a Sunday and an electrician (Josh) came over the next day. The repair was explained to us clearly and then completed timely.

My son introduced me to Josh, who had completed extensive electrical work at his house to my son’s great satisfaction. Josh has also worked for several of my sons friends, all of whom were equally impressed with his work. He initially sent Aro, an excellent electrical technician, to our house, and shortly after, Josh joined Aro and his helper. Together, they performed an outstanding, clean job in a challenging, hard-to-reach area. They arrived fully prepared with all the necessary parts. One of the things I appreciate most about Josh is his kindness and fantastic sense of humor. If I could give them ten stars, I wouldn’t hesitate.

They have very nice staff members. The electrician who came to help me with my electrical issues not only fixed the wiring but also found another problem that may given me problems in future. He also took care of the lighting bulbs. Their prices are very reasonable compared to the hard work they do.

After struggling mightily with our Home Warranty company who couldnt get someone to our place for a week, I went back to this company that I used for some lighting installs back in 2016. I reached out to them at around 10AM today - got a text back in about 15 minutes that someone would be in the area around 11:30. I had to verify that they actually meant TODAY, because wow, I wasnt expecting that. Josh (who was part of the crew back in 2016) arrived even earlier, and had the job completed by 11:30AM. Just two breakers that needed replacement, but he tested to make sure there wasnt more serious things going on. Despite the blazing heat he got the job done and I was out just a little more than what my warranty service call was going to run me, and it was quick and painless. Highly recommend.

I needed 240v outlet installed in the kitchen for electric dryer and recessed lights in the living room. The guys at SDS Electric were quick to respond and showed up the very next day to give an estimate. They did the work in professional manner and for a reasonable price all the way down to dry wall patch fix and painting. I would highly recommend their services for all your electrical needs.

A very nice and friendly guy, Josh, came and helped me sort out where to install my GFCI outlet, and very quickly did the installation for me for relatively cheaply. He answered all my questions and Ill surely be using them in future.
