He removed the old low light transformer, a blower and a light, removed the electrical from a propane heater as well as making sure all connections were tight and working properly. He did a great job on replacing the rotten post and setting a new one in its place, mounting the panel at a better height for easier access. I am disabled and this really assisted me in making my system safer for me to operate.Member Comments:While Alex was here I was having some other services done by a different provider. I needed a 3 gang or four gang box and preferred to not go out again to purchase the item. Alex offered the items off of his truck and only charged a nominal fee for the box we used. Very professional and helpful. It was very pleasant to see a licensed electrician charge a reasonable fee for an item instead of what we have seen by other providers in the past.I had purchased the 2 hour deal for $99 + the $16 for a box and a few connectors. I will tell our neighbors and others that this is a company that will get the job done and not provide surprises when presenting the bill. Even though the time went into the next hour he did not add an hour on as others have. I always appreciate those little details because it makes it so much easier on the consumer to have a verification of the appoint.Alex had a helper this time. Nick and Alex split the work up to be able to wrap it up fairly quickly. Really appreciated that since we have several other projects going on. The fellas did a terrific job and checked all the fixtures out to make sure they worked. One of the four did not. There was an issue with a sensor. Since we have no intentions of using the dusk to dawn or motion sensor on these particular lights, Alex and Nick were able to bypass the problem sensors and make it so all lights turn on only IF we flip the switch. I am a huge fan of dark skies, and the dusk to dawn does not fit well with us.We did buy a joint spanner for the wall and a couple of other items to complete our project. I was so happy that Alex kept these items on his truck and was able to complete the job today.That was something I was so impressed with the last time we hired AL-CO electric. One of the other crafts were here working and we needed an additional box. Alex never hesitated and offered a box from his trucks supply.The fellas were through and picked up after themselves leaving the place clean when they left.You will be glad you hired a company that thinks about your job carefully and makes sure that the job has been performed to the highest standards.We plan on hiring Alex again this fall for some additional lighting in our back yard. We are almost finished remodeling and will look forward to his return to put the final items in.This is a treasure on Angies list. Alex had installed it a month ago. Alex took it down unhooked everything, checked all the wiring, put it back up, in record time, and flipped the switch! Yeah it works! I asked what the charge would be and as expected Alex said there wasnt a charge. How refreshing to have a professional electrician that does not try and charge something every time.We will certainly keep Alex on our speed dial. AL-CO Electric is one of the best Electrical companies that I have used.I had some old Flood lights with old Lamp Holders around our house and Alex and Nick came out and changed the Lamp Holders and installed new LED lights and also moved a Lamp Holder to get more area and installed a New Lamp Holder on the Middle-upper of our house to light up the back yard at night. Alex and Nick also installed 2 ceiling fans and fixed our door bell. I actually made a mistake when ordering some of the lights and had to cancel but Alex is a very patient man and I even had to call him a lot asking his suggestions but Alex was always very polite and patient with me. They did an excellent job and I have no doubt that I would use them again.
