On 8/6/24 N Shore Electric sent David, and his apprentice Josh to our home to trouble shoot a couple repairs. They not only quickly found the problems but repaired them! David, found a total of 3 fire hazards in our home and restored power not only to the garage lights, but to our bathroom outlets, and replaced a broken outlet box. We can now use all the bathroom outlets! He explained the problems (not in excess) and showed us the issues that were hazardous, that were shortening the circuit in the bathroom outlets upstairs/downstairs repeatedly which had been so annoying! (FYI We had a friend replace the GFI outlets - before we called N Shore - to no avail).We had been using the garage door opener lights all winter until the lights were quickly fixed, because it did take some time to find an electrician by referral. (It obviously wasnt a flipped breaker, fuse, fixture prob or bulb). So, it is so nice to have a well lit garage again!I asked David to check a lose electrical box behind the sofa and was shocked when he showed me it was cracked! Another fire hazard! We no longer have the cord coming unplugged! David instructed Josh to replace it with the part we had on hand, and it was done in a blink of an eye! Boy they work fast & nice! David was writing the invoice while Josh finished up.On a final note, we now trust that our septic problems that we had been experiencing are not electrically related to anything, because David checked the box for us too!The team at N Shore Electric left things clean/tidy. We got the Aloha we expect from a friendly, professional, caring electrical team. Josh & David worked well together, so they didnt waste anytime or our $! Ask for David & Josh!

We had North Shore out a few months ago to install an EV charger in our garage. Josh was friendly and professional, and I was very pleased with the work he did. I was so impressed, we decided to contact North Shore a few months later for another project. They installed new wiring and fixtures to add recessed lighting in our living room, which did not have overhead access due to being on the first floor of our two-story home. Job was done quick and easy, and were very pleased with the results! Pricing was very fair for the work done. I would definitely recommend North Shore to anyone looking for an electrician!

Our experience with the residential team at North Shore Electric was exceptional. We had extensive electrical work done to update our older home, with a new electrical panel installed, all outlets and switches replaced, all light fixtures replaced, 6 added recessed lights, new bathroom exhaust fans, and a circuit and outlet installed for a new electric fireplace insert. The electricians were dedicated to high quality work and Shane who heads up the team was excellent in communicating and working with us every step of the way. I had three other companies bids and North Shore Electric came in significantly lower and with much more electrical work provided. I highly recommend this company.

UPDATE: I hired them for a 2nd project and its all good. Electrician Davd and apprentice Duncan were on time, fast, friendly and made sure it was all done to code including the virtual (video call) county code inspection.Shane and his team took on an electrical debugging challenge that was stumping me in my house. They got me covered on one visit, on time, professionally. And after their visit, I still had questions and they responded in person the next biz day to double check and put my concerns at ease. Shane from North Shore Electric is fantastic. He sized up our job after a contractor left us with a mess; gave us an estimate; and did thorough, meticulous work. He fixed things the previous contractor did poorly, moved an electrical panel, installed new breakers, and completed installation of outlets, bathroom ceiling fan, underfloor heating, wall switches, and lighting fixtures. He is friendly and professional and worked well with us, as well as with state electrical inspectors to ensure all work was done safely and meets necessary codes. We are beyond pleased with his work.

I recently purchased a Volvo XC40 Recharge and I chose to have a home EV charger installed in my garage. I purchased a Charge Point unit online and was directed to Qmerit to complete an intake form and to upload pre-installation pictures. This information was sent to North Shore Electric who made the process very easy. North Shore reviewed the images, submitted the paperwork to the county and scheduled the date of service. Josh Dulaney was the electrician that installed the charging unit. Josh was very professional and friendly. The whole process for installation was simple and stress free. I am definitely going to be a returning customer for all of my future projects.

North Shore Electric continues to be of great assistance. Shane has added lights, new and improved bathroom fans and a new dedicated outlet for a new tub installed. We had a new water heater installed and I was told it was sharing a breaker with our dryer. I was concerned and Shane came out the next day and checked it out. Everything was fine and breakers were labeled correctly. I really appreciate their willingness to come when I know they are busy.Andrew was professional and explained everything he was doing. This is not the first time I have used North Shore and they are now in my speed dial when I have an electorial issue. They may not get to me the day I call, but they have always gotten to me within a day. It is nice knowing you have a company that you can trust to respond and is honest with you. Thank you!

I had Shane come out and give me a bid on putting in a new hot tub hook up. Shane was on time and gave a very competitive bid to do the work. Since I had never had a hot tub before, I had lots of questions and Shane was always available to answer questions. Our hot tub delivery was moved up and the tub was delivered before it was scheduled. Shane was great and moved their schedule around so we were able to get the tub working only a couple days after it was delivered, even though our appointment was not for a couple of weeks. There was also a breaker issue, because of Covid, it was not available and on back order. He was able to find one back to their shop completed the install.I would highly recommend North Shore, nothing but good things to say about my experience with them.

After months of unsuccessful search for a qualified electrician to install an electric car charger and do some outdoor lighting and outlet repairs, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon North Shore Electric. Shane came out and gave a clear and detailed bid. From our conversation on the issues at hand, you can already tell he is a knowledgeable and experienced electrician. Luckily he was also the one who came out to do the work. On the morning of the scheduled work right after a long weekend, he had the courtesy to call when he was met with a bit of chaos at the office which caused a little bit of a delay. In any case, he showed up like a champ and did the work efficiently and professionally. He came back a few weeks later for the inspection and wrapped up some other work. All in all Shane did a great job and will be invited to return for more electric work in the future.

It was wired incorrectly and presented a serious fire hazard.After a difficult search Andrew Brown figured out what was ultimately causing the issue. He had to rewrite 8 electrical outlets, one light fixture and 5 switches.Scary. Andrew quickly repaired the problem and kept me fully informed. I felt incredibly safe after he left. He is a really big guy that can somehow fit into a small space.I am a disabled veteran and 100% recommend Andrew and his high quality craftsmanship and work ethic.BLUF: call them and ask for Andrew. I am sure the other electricians are ok, but I know who I am requesting. Worth the wait for this guy.

Weve used North Shore several times in the last few weeks to replace a couple of old electric panels, rewire a generator and hot tub, install some gcfis, replace some ceiling lights and fix some malfunctioning plugs. Both Shane and Andrew are friendly and professional - they turn up on time and get the job done without any fuss. Replacing the panels and rewiring the generator/hot tub was quite a big job (due to the generator causing some fire damage) but they managed to fit us in when we had the emergency and stayed late to finish the job. Bottom line they did quality work for a good price and were professional throughout.

Had a recent electrical issue with a GFCI that would not reset. When you have never had electrical issues before it is difficult to find a company you can trust with good customer service. I wanted to use a local company and noticed the good reviews for North Shore Electric. I called and the receptionist was very nice and understanding and dispatched Matt with in a couple of hours to look at the problem. I even got a text of when Matt would arrive and a text that he was on his way. When Matt arrived he was very knowledgeable in providing me with some issues that maybe causing the problem and offered advice on how to trouble shoot before sending out a technician. The GFCI finally reset so didnt need the technician at this time, but the customer service from the receptionist to Matts help was outstanding. Its hard to find companies with this kind of customer service and I can highly recommend North Shore Electric.
