    Ken was so patient and knowledgeable. He explained how our systems worked and what would work best for our situation. He had his crew out to us quickly to run some tests and install a brand new water heater and reroute or propane lines. We couldnt be happier. Theyve definitely earned a repeat customer out of us!     Ken Adams mechanical did an excellent job filling us in on options and then installing a heat pump/a/c with back up electric, and a hummidifier. They also corrected electric circuits and breakers that had been incorrectly joined previously, kept us informed of progress during installation, and showed us how to use the different systems.

    When I called Ken Adams, he ask me various questions of my house and what I was looking for and completely turned me around to a better system .Even through the most busy season, they kept me updated on the status of installation and when the insulation started, his crew is very professional and very tedious and clean.All the work that was to be performed was explained by Ken in detail and as they return to fully charge my AC unit the units work great. Im glad I did not have install what I thought would be best for my home. Im glad we were able to install the duct system for air circulation. They explained in detail why I should go the route that they suggested and once he explained it all made sense.His workers were very courteous, clean, professional and on time.Before you decide on your own what you think is best for your home you should talk to Ken as they have many many years of experience of installations and repairs of all type. What is cheap is always not works best in the long run and Ken will explain the best route for your projects. Thank you Ken Adams mechanical!

    Ive been using Ken Adams Mechanical for over 5 years. They are always very professional, kind and courteous. They are always on time and even go above and beyond to make sure I stay warm in the winter! (Once they helped me catch a bat that appeared just as they arrived!) I especially appreciate that they contact me each year to make sure my system is up and running. I dont have to remember to do it myself. Theyre always super nice and courteous.     Quick and friendly response when my thermostat turned red! Ernie and his helper were quick, efficient, and helpful. He answered questions related to the geothermal unit and was tidy, masked and efficient. Ernie has also worked on my unit over the past several years, for yearly maintenance as well as any unexpected events. I know I can call and get a response that meets my needs!4/23/2024 - New issue. Had red light appear on thermostat, and backup heat was not working on my geothermal until. Called Monday morning and Ernie from Adams Mechanical was there in the afternoon. It took a little time to troubleshoot, because there were two separate problems. But Ernie replaced the faulty thermostat and made sure the backup heat came on as needed. Always good and professional service, courteous and thorough!

    Ken and his team are great! They are friendly, service oriented and knowledgable. They scheduled my service the same day. Arrived on time pressure tested our gas line and restarted all of our gas appliances after the gas was shut off to repair main gas line damage. I will use Ken for all my mechanical needs.

    April 2020: While in the basement in March, I noticed a return duct wasnt connected to the stack. This being the pandemic, I took cell phone pictures and emailed them to Ken rather than have a tech come out just to look at it. They scheduled Ernie to come out and connect it--the invoice was for $0.00, since they believe it should have been done as part of my installation. (My bad for taking over a year to notice it! But heating and cooling went on like it should, so I didnt go looking for any issues.) Thanks, everybody! Prompt, courteous, and honest.July 2019: Kens crew came and replaced and improved the house drains, removing the failing cast iron line to the sewer and fixed it so black water can never back up into my washing machine again. It was a two-day job, but they made sure my only toilet (upgraded as part of the job) was in working condition at the end of the first day.Original installation, Late 2018: I hadnt heard of Ken Adams Mechanical before I decided to convert my almost-useless heat pump to a natural gas furnace. His business is listed by Columbia Gas as the closest approved installer to my location.I was very impressed with his knowledge, his lack of hard sell, and his openness to discussing exactly what I wanted and needed. He stuck to his estimates and there were no surprises. His crew was just as courteous and professional, working quickly and completely, keeping me updated on what they were doing.When Columbia Gas finally completed the hook-up from the street, Ken was there to make sure everything would be finished that day (I had just gotten home from the hospital) and one of his crew came by to light the furnace that night).You can be sure Ill be using Ken Adams for all my future plumbing projects and upgrades!

    Ken and his crew did an excellent job installing two AC units and ventilation for our old home. I had planned on doing mini-splits but when Ken surveyed the house, he was able to offer a better solution for a comparable price. We are very pleased with the results!

    Hands down the BEST and most knowledgeable and professional folks. Fixed two toilets, cleaned and replaced filter on Humidity system, checked out water heater, air conditioner and furnace for me (as new homeowner). Took their time to do things right; explained everything that needed to be done and why. Highly recommend this company. Besides, unlike a couple others I tried, their receptionist was very friendly and professional.

    These guys are great. They installed my central air years ago and Ken called personally to be sure it was correct. Every year a get a maintenance call and they come promptly to do that. Ernie is a great technician. I have now recommended them to my sister for her first maintenance on her AC.

    They were right on time, took care of servicing my AC, while there Ernie heard my pump going on & off. The water pressure tank was no longer functional. If he hadnt heard that pump, changed all that he had to do that day & spent 5 hours replacing, removing old pump, which had been there since 1983, was difficult to remove. I never would have heard that pump, not known there was a problem until my water stopped running. Thank You Ken Adams Mechanical & Ernie! Thank You to his partner for driving to get another pump.     I called multiple businesses about having a gas line installed. When I contacted Ken Adam, he was the only business to answer my calls or if the office was closed they returned my calls in timely manner. Ken came to my residence two days after making contact to measure the job where he was very professional and respectful. Unfortunately, things changed and I was unable to have Ken to complete the job.

    I had to replace my complete HVAC system including some duct work. I also switched from oil to propane. Ken provided me with a detailed estimate that was within the local price range. His team arrived as scheduled and completed the job in the time frame as proposed. His workers were very professional and knew their job well. They cleaned up at the end of every day and were very careful not to disrupt activities at my home. I would recommend Ken and his team to anyone in need of HVAC or any other service he provides.

    We were looking for someone to put air conditioning in our double wide. we thought it was a losing battle. Ken Adams Mechanical thankfully accepted the task. The job wasnt to take them most of their day. Being a mobile home caused a few unexpected difficulties.I truly commend them on their workers. They went out of their way to find solutions to those problems. I was given choices on how I wanted it done. The decision I made wasnt the easy path. They went the extra mile. Even though it was way past the time it should have taken, they made sure everything was in good order before they left.Oh, the job wasnt to be done for a few months so we were quite pleased to receive the call stating it could be done so early.Thanks so much!

    Have used Ken Adams for a number of years. They have always been professional and prompt in servicing my home heating and air conditioning needs.In fact while I was in Florida this winter they replaced a sump pump which went bad and did it after hours thereby preventing additional flood damage.Would not hesitate recommending them.

    We were in need of a plumber due to our outside faucets leaking and flooding downstairs. It just so happened that ernie was next door at our neighbors doing some work and offered to come over and look at them when he had some time. Very friendly and we called the office to make an appointment for the next day. He came today and took care of the problem professionally and very quickly.     Repaired clogged A/C water drain. Coordinated repair with tenant in avery timely manner. Not only cleared the drain, but got to the cause of the clog and clean both the evaporator and condenser coils. Tested the whole system for proper function. Very thorough. Highly recommend!!

    Came to clean our furnace and check outside ac unit. The furnace is clean enough to be brand new! Ac is fixed and runs like a champ! Our technician was absolutely amazing friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely use them again.

    HVAC quit working on us and wouldnt fire up. Ernie was quick to show up within about an hour of the call on a Friday. Found out the igniter was bad. Tried to replace it on the spot, but nothing was long enough. Got the part in and installed right away again. Couldnt ask for nicer people and the response time was unbelievable. Would high recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC or other work that they cover.

    I highly recommend Ken Adams Mech. Employees are friendly and professional, always on time. Everything being done was explained to me and all questions were answered.     We had hoped that the thermostats irregular behavior could be corrected by mere replacement. However, the Adams tech convinced us to subject the entire HVAC system to a thorough test to be certain. Yes, it doubled the costof just the thermostat replacement. but we now have security and can forego our autumn system check.The tech was friendly, courteous, and informative.     Another plumbing company botched a sump pump back up install, in 3 trips back it still wasnt done right. Ernie @ Ken Adams Mechanical redid the job correctly and efficiently. On a side note, the owner of the company basically talked me out of replacing my 18 year old HVAC system even though I called them to give me a quote for a replacement. Another HVAC company doing maintenance told me it could fail at any time. Hows that for honesty.
