Andrew and his crew did a fantastic job on our master bath remodel. He removed a jacuzzi tub, replaced the bay windows and cabinets, and gave us a great handicapped accessible shower my wife and I may need down the road. Communication throughout the project and attention to detail were next level. I highly recommend Andrew and his crew for any home renovations, and plan on using him again in the future. -

We have hired Andrew for every home renovation from kitchen remodel, custom built ins and even a staircase renovation. He delivers to what the customer wants but will also offer valuable input based on his experience. A very noble craftsman who takes pride in his work - he is our new guy and in a way, I hope this review doesnt make him too busy that we cant just plan on calling on him as needed! We moved from our house in Holly Springs to a ccrc in Raleigh. Our house had built in bookcases and we wanted the same in our apartment. We found Andrew Schafer and his company Woodright and Millwork and after seversal phone calls and one visit we hired Andrew to make our book cases. Andrew was very pleasant to work with and lept to our budget and timetable. Andrew installed his book cases in our apartment. Attached is a picture. Andrew was wonderful to work with. We hired an out of state playroom design company to help us revamp our bonus room. We had to hire a location contractor to help us complete the project and they helped me find Andrew. He was professional, knowledgeable, prompt, efficient, and a great liaison between the playroom design team and myself. He helped make this playroom project so stress free for me, which is exactly what I needed. Im happy to recommend him to anyone needing a great and reliable contractor! -

I first came to know Andrew several years ago when another companys contractor left my kitchen remodel in a mess. Andrew came in and took care of all the shoddy workmanship so that I could enjoy my new kitchen I knew then that he was going to be most successful in his future endeavors, and indeed he has been, becoming a licensed contractor a few years ago. While his carpentry work is truly outstanding, his other work is superb as well. Most recently, Andrew completed a remodel of my master bath. Because he has such high standards, anyone who works for him is excellent too. You could not ask for anyone more capable, trustworthy, or professional than Andrew Schafer. -

I found Andrew online and through texts and pictures, we communicated my fairly complex repair job. He came over the next day and accomplished the job in about an hour. Our experience with Andrew Shafers Woodwright & Millwork LLC was just great from the 1st contact to the last. Im not very experienced at home renovation. I was willing to do my homework, but I wanted to hire someone who would help me understand my options before I made decisions. Andrew was great at that. Very patient. I could tell him what I wanted to end up with, and he would find good ways to get us there that met his high standards for work & materials, while at the same time being sensitive to my budget limits. He often contributed very creative solutions that were very doable for us, but I never would have thought of.Andrew was easy to work with. He is a good planner and a good communicator. We found we could count on him to do what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it, or let us know in a timely way.Our projects went so smoothly we were always aware that he had developed a tremendous amount of experience, skill, and professional ethics long before we met him. And hes just a genuinely good guy who we were happy to have in our home. I will call him for our next renovation/project with no hesitation. -

We employed Woodwright & Millwork to enclose our downstairs mudroom and were rather impressed with their carpentry skills, eye for detail, and their work ethic.
