    Richard was the best!!! Came out right away. Did what he promised. Charged a fair price and was honest. He is the real deal and worth every 5 star review here. Professional and knowledgeable. My outside spigot froze and broke. Another company would not touch. Richard had it fixed in an hour and came out after hours. Great job thanks for the help!

    I highly recommend Richard at AAAbility Discount Plumbing.I retired after being the Quality Manger at a major diesel locomotive maintenance shop in KC. So, I understand quality workmanship, reliability and customer service. Richard totally updated my sump pump systems, both main and battery back up. He was very polite, informative and followed quality workmanship practices. A big plus is that before starting, I discussed my expectations, and he gave me his recommendations with costs. His prices were very reasonable! Only the most robust and reliable components were used, like heavy pipes and pumps. He eliminated the inferior leaky rubber couplings. He explained all the procedures, and answered all my questions. He showed up at the prearranged time. A big plus is that the completed system works flawlessly. In Summary: Richard was open, transparent, competent and very honest. I am Highly recommending AAAbility Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.As a note: A good friend recommended Richard to me for the same reasons on a different job. He saved David a lot of money when a different person wanted to replace an entire water heater, but Richard realized it was just a valve that need replaced, saving him considerable costs.     Richard was super helpful. We had a dripping sound behind the wall that we were concerned about and he came right over. He figured out the problem quickly and offered a solution that fixed our issue and didn’t break our budget.     I was in need of a plumber to fix an issue with the washing machine water supply valve in my house. The lead time was short because I was expecting a new washing machine to be delivered the same day.     I called Richard after a referral here in Lenexa Kansas for an issue with our hot water heater (the pilot light would not stay lit). He answered the phone promptly, and let me know he was booked out for the next week. He then took time out of his day to walk me through troubleshooting steps to identify the problem with the hot water heater. We got the issue figured out and he told me how to replace the part. The kindness, knowledge and expertise Richard showed was a breath of fresh air. I cannot thank him enough for helping this first time homeowner not only save money, but teaching me how to properly maintain and repair my hot water heater. I cannot recommend Richard enough.     The prior homeowner rigged up all our toilets and we noticed this with an expensive water bill. I called up Richard and he was out at our house within the hour. He is very friendly, professional, and quick at diagnosing what the problem is. He fixed all our toilets and was on his way in less than 90 min. We will definitely call him for any future work around the house that may need to be done. So thankful for his expertise!

    Richard has provided five star services to my home in Overland Park a couple of times. This most recent experience I was attempting to solve my water pressure in my kitchen on my own. When I could not fix the problem I called Richard. He walked me through different solutions over multiple different phone calls all while he was in a crawl space at another location. He helped me to solve the problem and now I have full water pressure in my kitchen again. I could not recommend him enough. He truly goes above and beyond what others professionals in his line of work do.

    Richard is quick to respond and an expert at finding and repairing plumbing issues. He will not quit until he figures out where the problem is and get it fixed right! Always keeps you informed on the process. He recently replaced a water heater and reconfigured the pipes which, if future repairs were ever needed, would be easy to access.     I give Richard A 5-star on here , I live in Olathe and he went above and beyond what was asked of him. Very reasonable price. Will definitely use him again I have found the plumber I need. I have an older home and hes able to work on it very easily. Tried another local plumber who didnt even try to fix my shut off valve of my house. Said I needed all new lines, Richard looked at it and said no I do not and he will be able to fix it without replacing all the line.

    My regular go-to plumber had been getting more and more expensive and less and less responsive when I had issues with any of my rental houses. I finally called AAAbility Discount Plumbing after being told that I needed to replace all the pipes under the house to get a tub to drain properly. Richard came out the same day and had the tub draining perfectly in 5 minutes. I appreciate his honesty and willingness to explain what he is doing and what our options are. Completely trustworthy, I only wish I would have found him years ago.

    Richard was amazing. Contacted him around noon, and he was there that evening to fix a couple of toilets. It was like watching a one-man nascar pit crew installing new parts on the toilets.     Just had Richard out to replace some leaking shut off valves under a sink. He quickly identified the issue - old worn out washers. He replaced the washers, reinstalled the valves AND flushed out the line to the sink faucet to remove an old piece of washer that was inhibiting water flow. On top of it all, very personable and kind. Highly recommend!

    A 5 Star Plumber for Overland Park. Richard came out to put in a new vanity but ran into some really outdated plumbing and unforeseen problems. He rebuilt two water intake valves rather than replacing them, flushed out the water lines exposing a problem with the bath tub spigot, replaced the spigot and shower head while saving me a bunch of money in the process This was all before he even got to the vanity install, which went extremely well. Everything looks great, works great and very happy with the outcome. He couldnt be easier to deal with either. I highly recommend him.

    I am a first time home buyer and had sewer line problems due to tree roots growing into my lines. I had one company try to unclog it and they told me my line was busted. Attempted to help me solve the problem over the phone prior to coming out, and fixed several minor issues under our kitchen sink in addition to replacing a defective valve.     Sunday early afternoon my kitchen sink is backed up and has standing water on both sides. Did an online search and called 10 different plumbers knowing it would be hard to get someone out on a Sunday.Even though A Ability Discount Plumbing is closed on Sundays he did answer his phone and was honest that since it is his day off, he cant come until the following day. That being said he took the time to 1) refer me to other plumbers who he knew were open on Sundays 2) give me a some phone numbers on plumbers who work hourly and may be willing to come out on a Sunday 3) took the time to listen to what was wrong with my kitchen sink and give me suggestions on how to possibly solve the kitchen sink problem myself depending on my level of DIY (which is zero)Before calling his referrals, I tried one of his plumbing techniques and woo hoo, I sure did fix the backed up sink by myself. Saved time, not having to spend the rest of the day waiting on a plumber to come to my house. Saved money by never paying Anthony Plumbings $120 service fee just to come out and look at the problem, plus actual cost of fixing the problem.A Ability Discount Plumbing gives you a reasonable, fair price for your money and service. Knows his stuff, reliable, friendly. Will be using A Ability Discount Plumbing for all future plumbing needs. 5 Stars, highly recommend.

    Had a major leak on Saturday night so had to shut off the water main. Called on Sunday morning. Richard said thats his day off and without my prompting, launched into asking me details about the issue, recommending methods of cutting the wall, which fittings are easiest to install, etc. With his guidance was able to fix the leak myself. Not only did he do the job for a fraction of what another company quoted us, but he found a way to put a panel on the wall to patch it so we wouldnt have to get another person to come repair the dry wall.     Five star review for Richard. If more stars were an option, I would give more - hes a professional, a gentleman, timely, honest, and he taught me some pointers on what to look for that I did not previously know. Richard came out the same day that I called him to evaluate some plumbing problems at my house, in Lenexa, KS. Yesterday, he arrived to perform fixes. He replaced the leaking wastewater pipe in my basement, and replaced a broken bathtub drain. When testing the tub drain, we discovered there was a secondary problem with my tubs drainage system behind the wall from a previous install, and he fixed that too. The price was very reasonable. I am very happy with the quality of the work, and the experience. I will definitely reach out to Richard when I need a plumber in the future!

    Richard is definitely a 5 star plumber. Previously, he helped us delay further basement flooding damage by returning our call on a Sunday night and teaching us how to kick the sump pump back into gear after its failure. He arrived the next day and replaced our sump pump for a fair price and expert work. Since then, we have hired him for all of our plumbing needs including installing our recent Costco sink/faucet purchase. He is fair, knowledgeable and kind. We recommend highly.

    Richard came out yesterday after a septic guy had made me believe the worst about our septic tank. The septic guy was not coming out to rooter our main line like he said he would and kept putting me off nearly a week after my original call which was awful since we could hardly use water without it backing up in our shower downstairs. Richard worked hard and used an old plumbers trick to snake the main line and ended up removing a clog. Apparently, most of the clog was there since we moved in last summer as a toilet always has gurgled when flushing a toilet upstairs. Now I can use my house and water like I shouldve been able to and no more gurgling toilet. I will call Richard again in a heartbeat with any future plumbing needs.

    My family and i moved here beginning of september, Richard and his wife were beyond kind to our family welcoming us to the neighborhood.
