After purchasing our house in June, we have already had two experiences with Machen Plumbing. The first was for a major clog and the other was for a new water heater. Neither case was a simple straightforward situation, especially the clog. Both times, Machen made sure to go above and beyond if needed to make sure things were done right and to explain the process along the way. They answered any questions that I had and in the first case worked closely with the septic service to get the job done. They did what they could to keep prices down on the projects and cleaned up after themselves. I had interactions with several of the employees over the course of these two projects and each one was helpful and respectful. I hope its a while before I have to call again but if I have an issue, they are who Im calling.

My husband and I had to call a plumber out two weeks ago and were charged for a job that they halfway did. Here we are two weeks later with the same problem (due to it not being fixed properly by the previous plumber) so we decided to call Machen Plumbing. Aaron and Cory were knowledgeable and patient when answering my questions, on time, efficient, honest, and so respectful. We will definitely be calling them for any future issues!

As I continue remodeling my home if I need plumbing or gas work I will definitely be giving these guys a call freaking awesome job my wife’s gonna love you guys now 😂

They came out today to provide an estimate for creating a new w/d connection. They were very honest. Other contractors suggested it would be possible but they laid out possible complications as well other issues that could arise and saved me a lot of money. I called on a Wednesday morning with a full blown main line clog. They were the only plumber to call me back after calling four others. Jonathan was on his lunch break but let me know he would give me a call or text back when they could come out. A little later he let me know they could be out the next day at 10 am. Sure enough 10 min before 10am on Thursday I got a call to let me know they were on their way. Ezekiel was my plumber. Since I knew a little bit about main line clogs I stayed out there and told him the 10 year history of my plumbing issue and that I had clay and some PVC as my main line. Long story short he hit the clog which was at the house in the 2 inch vent. Although he solved the current issue he was not satisfied as to why he could not get anywhere in the 6 vent and hit mud. I told him to go ahead and find out. After some digging we saw the 6 vent had a hole and was leaking but he said that was not the actual issue. A little more digging and well roots were basically holding part of the clay main line together. I am so grateful Ezekiel not only fixed the clog but uncovered why that clog kept happening at the house all these years. I posted photos of the process as well as how well he cleaned up afterwards. You can barely tell all the digging and mess that was made. I let him use my extension cord and he nearly wrapped it back up and put it back on my porch. 10/10 service. Ezekiel was also very personable and answered all of my questions. He never complained once even when it downpoured on us. I will always use Machen for my plumbing needs. I have dealt with other plumbers and they only treated the symptom although ran into the mud while unclogging. Forever grateful and will have a lot less stress worrying about the next clog.

Did a great job and even put in a pressure valve so I can adjust the pressure I want my water to have. Put a shut off close to the house to make it easy to turn the water on and off.
