    I had a major erosion with my sewer pipe in the basement. John came to the house and rectified the problem in few hours and I’m very grateful. John has done an amazing job, and his price was more than fair. I will highly recommend John for any problems with plumbing issues.

    Better a late review than no review! John is a real pro and a cool guy to boot. He helped me restore gas service that had long been shut off. The process had tons of red tape, but John handled all the paperwork and he had the gas turned on really, really quickly. His rates are extremely fair and youll save yourself time and frustration by making him your first call.

    I had a heating problem and called John Farr Plumbing and Heating, who was very friendly and professional He came the next morning fixed my burner and cleaned up . I was so satisfied with his work that I asked him to come back the next day and replace my sub pump . He is fairly priced and I have confidence in his ability to get the job done .

    Reaching out to John gives you peace of mind when buying a house or addressing any plumbing related matters.In the process of purchasing a foreclosed property I had major concerns about the safety and integrity of existing gas lines and plumbing a day before signing contract. I needed the opinion of an experienced Master Plumber to decide whether to move forward with the purchase.I reached out to John on a Sunday and communicated my concern and the urgency of such - John took his time to hear me and even checked the property for violations right away. The next day John made himself available and was very thorough in inspecting the property for major plumbing issues and gave me what I felt was an honest and genuine expert opinion.John quoted me a reasonable price for the consultation .     I contacted John as he was recommended by a co-worker, this was the best decision I could have made! John is very profession and honest, he did an amazing job at my home and handled the whole violation and repair with accuracy and in a timely manner.     When I have a gas problem in my property, It really gives me a headache. Knowing nothing about plumbing and gas, I did extensive research and come across John Farr via my Google search. I made an appointment with him and he came right away. He is very helpful, reliable, and easy to talk to. Then I also have another problem and John help me as well. It’s not the same problem but he gave me a lot of idea to solve the problem. The price is reasonable and John is very professional and knowledgeable. I 100% recommend John Farr for all your plumbing services. Great man, very reliable and caring.

    Had a gas leak in an apt. I needed a licensed master plumber to fix the leak, file the work permit, pressure test the gas line & schedule the DOB inspection. I called a few plumbers and felt John was the most knowledge and fairly priced. Usually during estimates, I would meet an owner of a construction, electrical, or plumbing company and agree on a price. I rarely see them again. They usually send one of their employees to do the job. Not John, you hire him...you see him, you deal with him. That blew my mind. Im use to putting my trust into experienced licensed pros and them sending inferior employees to do the real work. I was so glad John was there every step of the way to help me get my gas back on. He always stayed in contact and showed up every single time. I must have spent over 10 hours with him (btw his stories are amazing). His knowledge of plumbing is vast and he is a rare find in these times. He is an up front no BS type of old school plumber.

    John Farr is an honest and reasonable person. If I could give him more stars I would. I needed help removing a violation and with John’s assistance, I was able to get it removed. John is knowledgeable, provides guidance when needed and his prices are reasonable. He made sure to file all the required paperwork with the Department of Buildings, which made the sign off a breeze.     When a gas leak was found at my house in The Bronx, my place got booted like a scofflaw car on the street. Once the lock on the line and dreaded red tag from Con Ed appeared I didn’t know what to do. I looked up John Farr and dialed. I had no idea that what would seem like a quagmire of lost money and confusion turned into an incredible experience. At first I was intimidated by the work that I had to contribute to getting the gas turned back on but very quickly it felt like John was looking out for me and we joined forces to tackle the problem. He was always punctual, polite, insightful, honest, and very skilled. His understand of plumbing and New York’s nuances was incredible. I really enjoyed John’s personality and was absolutely satisfied with his work. He has a customer for life and I’d be happy to send work his way anytime going forward-thank you John.

    I called John because I had 2 violations in my house and I had no idea what to do. I was searching online and I came across Johns website (and let me tell you something), Im so grateful to God I came into contact with John. He has helped me so much by getting the right person, and helping me in removing my violation. It doesnt matter what problem you may have, if he cant do it on his own, he may refer you to someone else. John is the best!

    I am strongly recommend this nice and professional licensed plumber. He provides weekends services as well. He makes you feel very comfortable when consulting over the phone. The first impression makes me feel that he is trying to find a better solution instead of repeating the higher charges.

    We had a wonderful experience with Mr. Farr. We needed plumbing work done to help legalize our cellar as required by the local DoB. Mr. Farr worked well with our architect, was able to pull the required permits and understood the scope of the job and what was required. We needed to cap off some old water lines along with legalizing our bathroom and eliminating unused gas lines and its associated piping. Additionally he observed other possible issues that the local DoB might address as we needed to bring our cellar up to todays standard code. Sure enough everything he mentioned was brought up by the DoB and corrected as needed. Mr. Farrs knowledge of the local DoB process was instrumental in getting the work inspected and approved in a timely manner. The price for the required work was reasonable based on the scope of the work done. Mr. Farr was pleasant, easy to work with, professional and always on time. I would certainly use Mr. Farr again should we need his services. I have no issues recommending Mr. Farr to family and friends.

    John Farr is proffesional and very reliable person. He responded at once and came to my house even it’s a weekend. He took care of our problem on an illegal shower in the basement including all the necessary permit required by the Department of Building.
