I was in a pinch and needed some custom made floating shelves ASAP for a home remodel that I’m doing. I needed custom length, color within budget and turned around in a few days. I felt like I was asking for a Xmas miracle.Shaun Wallace and Gopherwood Build and Design is that miracle! I wouldn’t be surprised if Shaun is the guy paying off peoples layaway balances at Kmarts every year.I reached out to Shaun even though he had 0 reviews on google and 1 review on Yelp. The reason I selected him is simply because he took the time to chat with me to discuss the project in great detail. Everyone else just gave me a quote, he gave me his time, knowledge and vision.Shaun was able to put together exactly what I needed within a very reasonable price, within a few days and the quality of craftsmanship is top notch!It’s funny how we as consumers have become so accustomed to online shopping that when you actually work with small business owners like Shaun who got into what they are doing because they have a passion for it that in the end you get a better product and you as a consumer have a better overall experience?!! Mind blowing I know.Get creative, reuse, repurpose and salvage- support businesses like Shaun by bringing him your wood working custom projects-residential, commercial whatever, he’s cool!
