I have built two homes with Woodland. I am impressed with the house and love the layout and design. After closing Woodland came back and completed all outstanding items, or maybe I should say are in process. I feel confident the items will make it to closure. Kerston, our field manager, is outstanding and has a calming effect and provides great confidence in doing the right thing. More to come....

Building a home is a series of big and small decisions . You will be dealing with very professional and ntrol experienced owners who can give you help and advice throughout that process. And, their experience makes them very flexible in ability to adapt to your preferences. One of your concerns is whether the subs will do their job showing concern for quality of the finished product. Be assured that Woodland only hires specialist firms that are excellent in their field. Things will fit together right and work right. When your house is built, you will not have a long list of redos and nothing major because they take care starting with the foundation pour. We’ve recommended them since they built our house.One more thing. Close to quality control in importance is “flow” or the way people use the design of the house - - rooms, doors, stairs, exits, and so on. Woodland’s engineers seem to have a perfect sense of what will work. We’ve seen some other builder’s “custom” homes that are just ridiculous.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jason Oben the President of Woodland Custom Homes. He personally came to my house to give me an estimate on installing wood floors. He checked and doubled checked the measurements along with the house floor plan I had. After receiving his estimate and looking at different types of flooring I decided not to go through with it.I felt extremely bad about occupying his time and though I insisted on paying him, he said, dont worry about it, call me when you are ready.Which is exactly what I plan on doing.Thank you Jason
