A few months before Covid, my husband and I decided to build a Mother-in-law quarters on our property. We Initiated the project with our local building and zoning department and that’s where our battle began. We learned quickly how difficult it will be as owner builder. We met with an engineer who is a family friend and was introduced to Conroy of Labaiu Construction Inc. Conroy became our savior. “Hubby and I definitely loved working with Conroy. Finding a dependable contractor is normally a long, arduous process. There are many phone calls and emails and people just vanishing after you talk to them. Contractors can be super flaky but he was phenomenal! He was SO helpful. He definitely reduced our stress level from the start. Prices for material and service/Labor escalated to the max during Covid. As a general contractor Conroy negotiated with sub-contractors all prices, sourced Materials (even when things were scarce due to Covid) and had the job completed in months. We built a two-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry room and patio. We are ecstatic with the outcome. My parents love their personal space and we are forever grateful to you Conroy. We will definitely recommend you to others in the future.”.

Conroy was very prompt and accommodating. Kept me informed on the status on the impact door. Appreciated his prompt response and stated if I ever have further questions contact him. Rated highly.
