John responded to our first time call very quickly and immediately corrected a dangerous situation with an outlet. We later consulted with John to create a room-to-room to-do list in our house built in 1955. The work completed included checking all of the outlets in our house (a few were replaced), two new light fixtures were installed, and the electrical panel box was upgraded and replaced. John kept us informed of issues, plans, and corrections along the way, was punctual, professional, and really just a very nice guy to work with. We deeply appreciate Johns vigilant attention to detail, his very clear communication with us in real time, and his personal very high standards of work performance.

We recently bought a mid-century home in the Secane area that needed some fixture updates & had some previous DIY electrical work done. John and his helper Jimmy came in and did excellent work updating some lighting fixtures and looking into and diagnosing a wiring issue. John was very responsive in scheduling a time to come by, and did very professional work correcting some of the previous installations. He was also able to schedule a time to come back in the near future to investigate the wiring issue further. They were very friendly and professional and did a great job cleaning up as well. It is often hard to find qualified Electricians to respond to do smaller jobs for a reasonable cost. Would highly recommend you give John’s Electrical a try.

I needed an electrician to replace a breaker panel at a rental unit and found John via Google (maps). We coordinated schedules quickly and he was able to meet me later the same day at the property. His vehicle was clean and tidy, as was his personal appearance. He quickly assessed what was needed, we discussed the extent of the work, and he provided a written estimate within a few hours via email. His estimate was right where I expected it to be for the work that was needed. Because there was a significant issue with existing panel, John adjusted his schedule for the next day in order to come out to do the work. The end result of the work was excellent. He took care of filing all permits as well. I am glad to have made his acquaintance and appreciate the excellent job that he and his worker did.

We hired John’s Electrical Services after reading over 160 five-star reviews here, and we are happy to say we agree with those reviews. John and his colleague updated an exterior receptable, replaced an interior outlet, and installed five new exterior lights, including a post-mounted lamp. That lamp was in a newly installed garden bed and John was very careful not to damage the nearby plants. Excellent communication throughout. He was responsive, kept us informed, arrived when he said he would and was a real pleasure to work with. We highly recommend John’s Electrical Services.

I have known John since he was an apprentice. His work is quality and he is honest with his customers with pricing and what work is being done. John worked on my first house after my flood and I never had an issue after that. You cant go wrong with this guy. Definitely make him one of your three estimates you get. John and his helper upgraded my outdoor GFC outlet . They came on time and were neat and professional. This outlet controlled my outdoor pole lamp where we had an additional outlet that did not work. John fixed a loose connection and we look forward to being able to now use this for Christmas lights etc.I have not had an electrician in about 20 years ( have used a company that does HVAC as well as plumbing and electric ) so I am not sure of pricing these days but am happy it’s fixed and up to code .

Went on the internet to hopefully find a reputable electrician that was friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had intentions of calling more than one electrician so that I could have a better feel for who stood out from the crowd, but I only made the one call and John was that person. I left him a message and he was prompt in getting back to me. We set up a time for him to look over the work I needed done and he arrived on the scheduled day and time to give me an estimate for the various issues that needed to be fixed. As it turns out, Im glad I didnt call anyone else. John was very polite, friendly and very informative. When you meet John, he makes you feel very comfortable and confident that you will be very satisfied with his work. So, with that being said, I hired him on the spot with no regrets. Im extremely happy with the work he did. He even noticed that my breaker box was not properly wired and without hesitation made the necessary corrections. Its like he read my mind knowing it was a safety issue. I will definitely hire John again for any future projects. Its a no brainer.

I can not say enough good things about John. My 85 year old mother in law who has dementia needed lots of electrical upgrades and repairs in her home. Knowing we had to work around her sleep/ good times schedule was something we worried about. John was understanding and said he would do whatever was needed on his end to accommodate us. John started with the essential items to make ours and mother in laws life easier. He went on to troubleshoot harder issues and quickly fixed those as well. He showed us what efficient fixtures he was going to get and asked for our approval. John and his helper were very professional , clean and courteous. John even took the time to swing by at night to make sure we were happy with the adjustments on the outdoor lights he installed. He wanted to be there in case we needed them adjusted. Since we may have put him through a little extra by having to deal with our schedule we were expecting a high price. We were wrong. John’s pricing was awesome. Just did a 200 amp upgrade for my house. They are very professional and reasonably priced (saved me $1000 over another estimate!) John is excellent at keeping in touch and letting you know when he’s coming and what he’s doing. He answers questions and offers advice. He took care of permits (something not everyone does.) The borough electrical inspector praised John’s work. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him back for more work in the future.

I was having a hard time finding anyone who could look at it in the time for closing. He examined the place quickly and gave me a prompt estimate. After I gave the go ahead, he was in and out in a blink. He sent photographs of the completed work. The work was neatly done. I honestly can’t say enough good things about John. I was starting to think we would NEVER find a good electrician but then we found John! He helped us with several jobs. Not only does he provide excellent quality work, but he probably saved our lives and our house. Upon looking at it, he discovered that a prior electrical job was done incorrectly, and we had several breakers literally melting. I’m sure I’m explaining it wrong but you get the point. Ive used John at two of my homes and my rental property. Ive hired him to do smaller jobs, such as add sconces, to re-wiring my entire house. Hes fantastic because he leaves the property without a trace of having been there (hes the only person Ive ever met who dry cleans his drop clothes). After talking to some people that Ive recommended John to, we now call him the magician because we have no idea how he can run wires without making holes. His techniques are incomparable.
