    Amazing service! We had a huge fan instillation plus another fixture (approximately 20ft high) along with some front porch fans and Thomas was awesome. Great service, professional and 100% personable. He was warm and kind and very knowledgeable about his profession! Even rewired something’s we didn’t know we needed rewired! I have two small children and felt very comfortable inviting him into my home. Would recommend a million times over. We plan on continuing service with him through one of his monthly plans he offers as well! Great guy. Great business. Great electrician!

    Local to Flowery Branch, had Thomas come and install a whole home surge protector. He checked my panel before hand and chose a solution which would work without having to swap or add anything more to my panel. Showed up during the allotted time talked me through what would happen and got to work. 30 mins later he was done. Excellent service and communication was great, mostly through text message.

    Zach and his partner were very impressive. They were two professionals building security for our home. They had to redo a job that was once done and did not pass inspection. I know that the work Zach has done will pass with flying colors.I will recommend them to anyone. If you use them you will recommend them too.

    Working with Thomas and the defender team was a seamless and smooth of an experience as you could ever ask for. I reached out to him to install a Tesla wall charger for our vehicle, and he had an estimate within hours and the install scheduled for just days after! I referred him to my sister-in-law as well where he did an awesome job with interior lighting. Will be using him again for the next project!

Now the plugs are out of sight and I can control the house temperature from my phone.     Very impressed with Defender and Thomas on my first call to them. We had a head scratcher wiring circuit issue based on a possible failure of one of many pieces of the circuit. Thomas diligently tracked down and fixed quickly. Now my first call is to Defender Electric when Im scratching my head again.

    We were having some siding work done and lost power in multiple outlets. After some time of narrowing down the issue Thomas and Austin were able replace the wiring and avoid having to remove the siding to fix the issue. They are the most professional, courteous and knowledgeable service company I have contacted in a long while. I highly recommend their services.

    I had a breaker that kept tripping when I used the microwave and was pretty sure that it was the appliance that had gone bad, but I wanted to make sure that there wasn’t a bigger problem, so I called up Defender Electric. They came out the same day, were early, confirmed my suspicions, and didn’t even charge me for the visit. Excellent service and I’ll definitely be using them again in the future.

    I write this review as someone who has lived in a number of homes throughout many states and that experience has required me to hire a number of electricians in that span of time. Thomas, at Defender Electric, has been by far the best electrician I have worked with - start to finish. To breakdown my experience... Thomas already came highly recommended by a number of people in my community. When I reached out to get a quote, he answered the call right away and was engaged from the start. He has specific questions about our home electrical project. He communicated some options on when he would be able to come out and and walk the home. When he came out, he was on time and polite. I was prompted through his alert system he has setup when he was on the way to his appointment with me (nice little feature). He walked the home and we collaborated on what options were best for certain things. We were hanging new lights but also looking to do some electrical re-wiring due to some builder problems. He had some great ideas and more efficient ways of coming up with a solution. We were grateful for the various options, as some just never offer those up. He was extremely timely on his quote over to us and the quote was very reasonable and fair based on the other quotes that we had received from 3 other electricians. Our experience with Thomas along with a fair quote is what made us move to Defender for our work. Thomas was fantastic at setting up expectations on what time frame it would take to do all the work and what windows would work best for us. On the day of the work, he and another gentleman showed up on time and had everything ready to go with a gameplan. They were very respectful of the home and had a great gameplan from the start. They worked through each item efficiently and any questions based on preference, Thomas did not make any assumptions and would as us. We really appreciated this level of communication and thorough care for the work. You can really tell that this company REALLY cares about the attention to details when it comes to doing the work - from a cosmetic standpoint to a safety and wiring standpoint. When they were done, they cleaned everything up as if no one was even there and we had a quick exit walk-thru to make sure we were happy. He then had a nice easy to use payment process through his user friendly estimation and payment portal/program. My wife and I could not be any more pleased with working with Defender Electric and will certainly be using them for all our needs moving forward. I can certainly see why so many brought up this company to us when we moved here and were seeking out a good electrician. You cannot go wrong by simply adding this company to your phone calls when quoting out work and getting electrical consultation.

They moved an electrical receptacle to make way for a new washer dryer and swapped out a usb port for a regular receptacle.     Honest company. Unfortunately, nowadays, you really don’t know what you’re getting and if you are getting quality and honest service. I reached out to Thomas Griggs on Facebook Messenger. I asked if they had time to come out this week to check some outlets in my garage that were no longer working. Rather than setting up a time, he gave me some advice on things to try. Fortunately, I was able to get them back up and running without having them come out. I thought this was extremely professional and very uncommon for many private companies. I appreciated it and will not hesitate to reach out again in the future for our electric needs.

    We had Thomas come out to our house after purchasing a new washing machine that was not working. Our old washing machine stopped working and we had a small appliance repair company come out to our house and quoted $525 to fix our old washer. We made the decision to buy a new washer. Every time we ran a load on the new washing machine it would trip the circuit breaker. After 2 visits from another electrician and a visit from a LG repair technician we made the decision to call Thomas. Thank you for taking care of our problem quickly!

    Thomas installed ev charger in my garage and I am very satisfied with the results. I had 3 companies come out for a quote, Defender Electric had the lowest price and best solution to run the wires from finished basement. Other companies came up with ridiculous solutions and warned me that there will be numerous holes throughout the jobs and I had to hire handyman to patch the holes. I still don’t understand how Thomas ran the wires only making two hole for the entire job. I highly recommend Thomas for any electrical works.
