    Votum Electric was very accommodating to our need for quick install and working around all of the other contractors schedules. Votum even moved us up on the calendar twice in order to get our work done faster. They were great at working with some of the curveballs during construction. Sue even came out to the house to let my dogs out so the inspector would feel comfortable coming in while I was at work. Please choose Votum for your next project.

    We used Votum Electric to hang a chandelier in our great room. Corey and Robert were extremely kind, competent and professional the entire day. They even took the time to clean every piece of glass to ensure the job was perfect. I highly recommend Votum Electric for all your needs.

    Corey and Mark arrived on time and got to work promptly.     We had a great experience with Votum Electric! We purchased a historic home a month ago and our home inspector noted a few issues in need of a certified electrician. We needed some GFIs installed, some A/C disconnect boxes remounted, and some old wiring updated. Sue reached out to me the same day I submitted my Angi request for proposals and scheduled the estimate appointment for just a week after we closed. Charlie did a very thorough walkthrough with me, talking me through what hed need to do to address each issue. He sent an estimate promptly after wrapping up. Votums estimate came in well below other companies we contacted; their pricing seems very fair.Cory and Matt came out a few weeks later and were able to complete all the work in one day. They were friendly and professional and did another thorough walkthrough with us to explain all the work theyd done. The project was on-budget and the team left our house neat and tidy. So far, everything is working as expected. Payment via credit card was easy and Sue in the office was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout the entire process. I would definitely work with Votum again in the future and recommend them for any electrical needs!

    Votum Electric replaced the main panel in my home. They were communicative, professional and punctual. Charlie did a great job diagnosing the problems with my current system and designing a solution to fit. From my own observations Corey did a great job on the panel, very tidy and sharp. I didnt realize how outstanding the work really was until I overheard the county inspector praising him for an exceptional job. I highly recommend this team for all of your electrical needs, they were a pleasure to work with.

    Corey and Mark showed up right on the dot and were courteous, knowledgeable and hard working. They did a beautiful job of installing a chandelier and an overhead fixture. They also replaced my old ceiling fans. Plus they cleaned up before they left. Votum isnt inexpensive (for me), but I feel I can trust this company. Charlie, the owner, came for the original estimate and was professional and nice. And Sue in the office is terrific. If I need more electrical work done, I will call Votum.

    Cant recommend Votum Electric highly enough, would give six stars if possible! Matt and his crew are highly professional, easy to work with, safe, punctual, and competitive on pricing. Best of all, they take pride in their work. I used them to debug an incorrectly wired outlet and, later, for a panel upgrade and utility wiring installation. Will continue to use Votum Electric for my future needs because I know they will do it right the first time.

    We had a problem with the power in the living room over the weekend. We called Votum Electric this morning. To our surprise they were able to send someone out within an hour of our calling! Corey and Mark were absolutely great! They assessed the problem, explaining everything as they went along. They were polite quick and efficient! We had already planned on getting some electrical updates done. We walked them though the other things we wanted done and were so impressed with the work that was done today that we requested a quote for the additional work. We will definitely be using this company again and am recommending to family members!

    Absolutely THE best customer service you could hope for! From the moment I made the phone call to schedule an estimate (which was free) to the moment the crew left my home. The quote was provided same day and the price was spot on. Exactly what I was expecting to pay. Very fair and reasonably priced. The wiring and installation of 3 light fixtures and 4 can lights was complete in a matter of hours. Corey, AJ, and the crew were knowledgeable, diligent, and kept me aware of what was being done. It was known that the crew would have to access a very small crawl space to wire the fixtures. This hurdle was no hindrance to the crew. They crawled in and feed the wire down with ease. Did I mention, they also did great work for my sister and mom as well? I could go on and on about the amazing service. If you are reading this review, make sure you check out Votum.     Had Votum Electric install new 100 amp service on my home. Did an outstanding job. Very reasonable price. Electricians knew what they were doing and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Had me do a walk thru when they were done, explained every thing they did and didnt hesitate to answer any questions. The owner, Charlie, would always returned my calls. I would highly recommend Votum for any electrical work you have.

    Votum Electric Came highly recommended by a friend of mine. I own a small contracting And property management company in the St. Louis area. Speed, customer service, and high-quality repairs are of the upmost importance to us. I was able to call Votum Electric and get my repairs done within 24 hours of calling.     What a pleasurable company to work with! I called needing electrical work done and the owner came out that very day to look at what I needed done and he gave me a quote. The work was done the next day with a very professional employee of the company. He made sure I was happy before he left and the owner called to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction.     Today I had Tom come out and do some code code correction work for me. I’m a home inspector so I paid close attention to his work. Excellent work and great customer service. The cost of the work was reasonable and I really appreciated it. I’ll be using them for my rehabs also. And I’ll be referring them to my clients as well. They charge by the hour and Tom worked his butt off the entire time he was here. Thanks Tom

    Votum helped me with a residential underground service job which included putting in two new panels (one in the house & the other in a detached garage), 150+ ft of conduit runs and a new meter/service entrance. I dug the trench and when it wasn’t deep enough they helped dig it to depth even when that wasn’t in the original estimate. I was totally at fault but they helped get things right for a fair price. STL county inspection was a breeze with no issues and they came out again to do the final switchover in conjunction with Ameren. The work quality was excellent and the entire team was fast, quality and knowledgeable. Would totally recommend them and use them again for future electrical work.

    Owner Charlie answered an emergency call from me this morning and sent technician Jim out to handle. Jim was very professional and was able to detect the reason why only one side of my wall outlets did not work. Jim explained to me and showed me what the issue was. One outlet had slowly burnt out which I had an air freshener plugged into that outlet. That caused the power of the other outlets connected to that circuit to go out, including my alarm system which I was most concerned about. I am so thankful to the. Votum Electric team for coming to my rescue this morning. Thank you Charlie and Jim!!!!!!

    Charlie and his team at Votum Electric are great!! I was kind of at a loss because the electrician Ive used exclusively over the past 20-30 years in my real estate business recently retired. I needed wiring run for a new hot tub in the house I just moved in to. I knew it was going to require upgrading the electric service. I also needed a 50amp plug installed to plug in my motorhome. Not only did Charlie come out within a day or two to look at the project, he was able to get started the next week! I was really dreading the idea of looking at a brand new hot tub with no electricity running to it. Charlies guys showed up when they said they would, he sent 3 guys so they completed the entire project in one day, they did a great job, AND the price was right! Thanks so much to everyone at Votum Electric! Even though Im now retired, I know a lot of folks in the real estate field and wont hesitate to recommend Charlie and Votum Electric....you cant go wrong!
